2003 Honda 919 Glasspack Exhaust

- Just finished a homemade exhaust for my 2003 Honda 919. I cut up an OEM 919 header and eliminated the resonating chamber to shorten the 4-into-1, then welded on a mid-pipe out of 1.75" stainless tubing from a Piper Cherokee 140 exhaust. Then to give a little bit of back pressure and take the rasp out of it I used a Jones Glasspack I bought off of summitracing. This is after 250 miles of usage and the exhaust note is getting deeper the more glass-packing sets. Very pleased with the sound especially past 5k RPMs. I promise it sounds much better in person. It is secured using a 1.75" exhaust clamp attached to a flange of steel that is rubber shock-mounted to a tab that is normally used for the center stand.

Thanks! The bike has come a long way since I first traded for her in 2012. I'm always modifying little things on the bike, and I've already started on another exhaust setup!
digging the scrambler style bars. my bike hopfully will look similar some day
They are the stock bars dude
i like that paint scheme...
Nice paint scheme. Did you do it yourself? did you take the tail/the tank and the odometer off to paint them?
simple, no fuss hotdog, awesome street fighter
I do like the look of the bike. I don't like the front sigs on mine I'd like to integrate some. I have a video of it straight pipe tell me what I could do to give it a mean look? Need some ideas. Thanks!
I like it.
Is that stock the way the gauges flick up when you turn the key? Cause my 02 does not do that
Cool. Now let's hear the thrush muffler.🤔
If you ever get tired of this exhaust or want to sell it i will be MORE than willing to pay you for it or even make me one. Love the low exhaust and it sounds bad ass! Did you have to get it tuned after this exhaust/get a power commander?
Revving a cold bike SMH
