- I welded a cherry bomb exhaust on a Kawasaki Vulcan S. And added an extra cut on the tip. Great welder in Orlando,Fl named Jeff. Eyeball customs. C.F.M.R. community has been a great help in this city! Thank you to all who helped. BTW. Check engine light will dissapear after a few times riding the bike. Dont panick and take it to the shop right away.
I never once thought you could make a in-line twin going through a single muffler sound this good. I've watched others and none of them every sounded good, just louder. But yours sounds good. Thanks for sharing.

The exhaust system you built actually looks and sounds good on the Vulcan S. I am wondering how the paint is holding up, considering the exhaust system gets too hot for powder coating and too hot for engine paint. Have you considered having the muffler ceramic coated? In case you are wondering, I have a complete exhaust system, in perfect condition, from a 2018 Vulcan S I will sell cheap. Does not include the oxygen sensor. I installed a CS Racing exhaust system on my Vulcan S.

I like the exhaust note of your Cherry Bomb at low and medium RPMs, but it’s a little too harsh for my taste at high RPMs.

Engine light came off after a few rides
Engine light will go off after four trips of at least ten miles each. Start the bike, drive ten miles or so, shut it off. Repeat three more times and the CEL will go out. I had the same issue with mine because I started the bike without the oxygen sensor in place. The ECM threw a code. I am good to go now.
Well, you could just drill 6 holes in that muffler under that shield and put the shield back and the effect would be exactly the same or even better.
I thought about that, bit your loosing back pressure which takes away from your top speed. Muffler was the way to go

Lmao, I just cut off mine today did the same thing with an Amazon exhaust for $50. Man had to cut the engine off quick, shit is wacko loud with no exhaust. I have to go get it welded also.
Sounds great! Does anyone know of any after market exhausts that has this deeper sound to them?
M4 exhaust has a pretty deep growl, Vance and Hines i think has a nice low tone as well

Check engine light came on....after about 5 more rides light came off and never turned back on🙂
