Great video, it helped me change my RH Powerise by Stabilus. My symptom: the tailgate would not latch and there was a crunching noise on the RHS of my 2016 F25, the tailgate was being pushed over to the left (actually being pushed down on the right), but there was no error coming up on the scan by my icarsoft. After changing and dissecting the strut the spring had disintegrated and the cover was beginning to bulge at the hatch end. I should have changed it a lot sooner and I would have if I knew how easy it was. I don't think I had to initialise the strut, the open circuit error only appeared when I disconnected the original strut. Thank you.
Good Job my friend I changed my self bat only sound clicker then I have to pulled up manually probably the auto Zone sélleme only the one manually bat I gone doble check again or maybe my X3 xDrive 2,011 don’t have that cane of shocks bat thank very much was Exelent God Blessyou

Hi great video. I need to replace the RHS strut on my BMW X3 F25 2016 model as it is cracked. A please advise me if the steps to remove struts and trimming the same as your car? Is it a must to replace both sides in one go?
I bench tested the strut and now the motor works but they do not open or close and the gear inside just makes a sound. Is there a way to reposition them ?
@@MOvidiuDoesn't it calibrate itself when you first close it by the hands and then drive it electrically a couple of times? Yesterday I changed the battery in my 2011 F25 and got some fault codes, for instance with the co-driver door window. After driving it a couple of times from bottom to top I could get rid of the fault code. But there were, IMO, some strange noises... Maybe some kind of grease is needed (as a first step).
I have problems with my BMW X5 e70 when trunk is closed it won’t open inside or outside or with the key fob I hear no noise trying to open but when I release it it closes fine with key fob and inside
I changed the module and after a period change the struts too, for new ones, and it is not working again now. I only heat a click sound, but dont move up or down nothing, only click sound near to the car battery do you know what can it be ? Module failure or strunt failure ? something else ? thank you

I have 2 strut. They have 5 wires. Red-Black signal and 2 more. When i connect the 12+ and negative the motor clicks buy does not turn. Do i have to connect any other wire to bench test them ? C an you help on this

No. It was easy. Biggest problem was supporting the tail gate whilst swapping over struts. My wife held it up.@@almariodon7599

Hello ! possibly the lock on the tailgate is defective, it will have to be disassembled and checked ....

Firs check the tailgate control module for water damage. The si module is ok. Replace the damaged actuator!
