- In this video we will find and repair the annoying problem with the non contact tailgate opening or also known as contactless tailgate opening on this BMW x4 G02 , A small broken and oxidised wire can cause a module not to respond !

I had exactly the same issue on my 2019 G01and your video just saved my day (and some hundreds of $ ofc avoiding the dealership repair). My problem was withing the ground (green) cable which had a little cut so i had 0 voltage when i first done the multimeter test. Thank you so much for the video!

Thanks alot brother i was having same issue i took out that box and lucky for me exact same fuse gone changed it now back to normal😊
Nice job! But you need to be aware that the fuse will never blow by itself because she was depressed ! Or the wind blown in a different direction. The fuse will pop because there is a problem in the system! Short circuit, corrosion !
The oscilloscope is such a cool tool.. I really want wan! Very nice to have when working on bus systems, but also handy on other things!

About six weeks ago I bought a 2011 F25 30d, so now I have something to play with. So I am looking forward to all your work on an F25... 😆♥️ What also is interesting to see, is how you remove the different trim pieces without breaking anything!
In the meantime I can drive on with the 2008 E83 20d. Do I need two cars? Maybe not really...
Now I first have to check what videos you have on F25/X3.
Nice work. Many shops where I live would have condemned that module . My e39 had a badly damaged LCM due to water damage. My lights were still acting up so I opened the boot to find the spare wheel submerged in water . Not sure where it’s coming from.

How do you how do you open a BMW trunk with no power
The problem in this X4 was on the side of the wire which partially did not make contact or did make contact, but due to his partial damage, it sent too low current to the module so that the tailgate could not open? Why did the voltage meter not found it? Great Video, fan of BMW like You.
It was data channel wire, not 12V wire.

First because you need to respect your tools ! second on the flor is a fine dust that is IN loved with electronics! and third for the wireless connection! but first thing is THE most important!

Auto-power off of the multimeter: you might be able to change that. Check the datasheet of the onboard chip and flash the EEPROM with the value you'd like

Do you know if it is possible to add foot kick sensor on BMW G26 i4? My car was built last year but BMW took out the sensor due to parts shortage.
I had a similar with my fog light wiring... Initially I thought my fog light bulb burnt out... But turns out the power wire got corroded due to poor sealing...

Salut ! e38 din 94 e total diferit cum e constuit fata de cele din 95-2001 , ma refer la partea electrica ! e posibil sa necesite un alt LCM

Heloo bro.. Have buyed 730d g12, 2017..fucking trunk wil not open, get signal but actuator have no power supply.. That Ista + show me.. Dont have emergency wire, at all, its dificult to do something trhow that small holl in middel.. Any idea hao to open but dont destroyed some covers...😢😢
Hello Ovidiu. A question please. In the BMW X3 F25 LCI 2014... it opens with the foot but does not close it with the foot. When I try to close it with my foot, the warning lights flash 3 times and nothing happens. Is the function not active or must another condition be met? Thank you

Garbage cars!!! They came out of the factory recently and have already this kinds of problems
Ovidiu mentionated in the video that the bumper was removed in the past by a paint shop so the cable malfunction was probably affected by them.
