This man is everything.....the voice, the look, the hair, the English wit, there will never be anyone even in the ballpark near his talent....AND one of the only singers to make it as a solo act, few have managed to do so.....
paisleyization he is amazing and such gorgeous hair, beautiful and natural and a completely unique voice.Never understood the fuss over Bowie's hair, he had some ridiculous styles and when you saw it in it's natural state was unremarkable to say the least! Rock on Robert!
There will never be another Robert. So naturally cool, not trying to be anyone other than himself. I adore this man so much, though it's not an 'attraction' as such, I just truly admire him and his talent. I just wish I could've been alive to witness him at the beginning...I hope I get to see him perform one day!
I saw Robert Plant in Eugene, Oregon on his Fate of Nations Tour( ironically, that's what we're facing today) and he was so professional. Excellent sound. No strung out lead guitar or drum solos. Just perfect and the best show I, personally, have seen. Thank you, Robert Plant!
I've met him several times, and he's a HUGE flirt. I'm not his type at all, so that's not it -- he's just a fucking flirt! :-) Once when we met him in Boulder, he said to me and my sister, "Good morning, ladies" as he strutted by in shorts (so tan and fit too), looking at us with that naughty sexy smirk that only Robert Plant can do. We died!!!! He knew what he was doing, and we knew it wasn't because he actually wanted us. Oh well, a girl can dream.....
I've always wondered what his type was... I'd guess tiny, skinny, brunette girls...dunno, got this feeling. If it were to be true,I wouldn't be his type either! 😅,Thx 4 sharing, though. ;))
He is a compulsive flirt, can't help himself. He is a Tomcat, relentlessly chasing tail. He knows how good he looks and the effect he has on women and works it for all it's worth. It's just the way he is wired. Got to love the guy anyway.
"He's everything that I wish I could be myself." It's so interesting to hear Percy say this about another human being (his son-in-law), when so many thousands of young men have said the same thing about him!!!
Theres a future.....as well as a past.....Lessons and Dreams.....Spend my days with a Woman unkind......Someone told me theres a Girl out there....with Love in her eyes and flowers in her hair......but that was the 60s!!.....the flowers are dyin Robert......Peace on 🌎......Great interview with the Man.....
what a vision of Godly beauty. Long Live Robert Plant. you are my heart throb. Robert has this primal aura and the most loving kind warm heart. Robert is a gift from our God in Heaven.
put him in front of a woman and he can't help but FLIRT... there is just something about him... I'm an old lady now, and he's an old man, mighty fine !
@hanklove4ever You're crazy, Jimmy Page was starting a band and saw Robert Plant singing in a club and was so blown away that he had to have him in this band, which became the greatest band of all time, and it's this man who not only belted out the songs bigger and better than anyone at the time could have, but he wrote some of the greatest lyrics of all time. Jimmy the master for sure, but Plant is the voice of Led Zeppelin
@hanklove4ever I disagree.. Robert seems to have done well for himself in his solo career. Each member created the success of Led Zeppelin. The four members came together and it just would not have been the same if it had been any others then these 4. Can you imagine Mick Jagger as the singer? Would not have been the same. It was magic they created together. By the way Robert saluted Jimmy in an amazing speech; guess you missed that..hence your remark. It was amazing!
@Luukeeeehh This was most surely 1993, the year Fate Of Nations was released. He is doing the talk show circuit promoting the album. There is a youtube video of Robert performing 29 palms on Letterman promoting this album.
So Robert Plant got the year wrong of a concert he performed . He performed many shows in the San Francisco when he first came to the states. opening for many bands including Janis Joplin with whatever incarnation of a back up band she had at that time. And It is obvious that Robert Plants vocal style was heavily influenced by Janis.
I agree, Morrison. In fact, interviews are always much better when the interviewer is truly knowledgeable about his subject. You can tell every time when they're faking it. Bugs me too.
i already AM older, 51 to be exact. I wasn't mocking him in any way, shape or form, I adore Robert Plant and have been a fan since 1974 and luckily got to see Zep in concert many many times. I'm sure he's forgotten a LOT more than the year Janis died, the way those guys used to party. So no offense was meant to the gorgeous Robert Plant at all.
I like watching Robert talk to this lady interviewer. This is unique, because he doesn't normally act this way for most people. I think he may have been slightly nervous, or possibly threatened by this lady's constant probing manor of questions, because Robert seemed politely defensive, and several times he had to tell her to pass over certain questions. And his eyes were open wide, and manic-like, which I've never seen him do. Was he, may I ask, on meth that day? But I liked how cute Robert looked in this interview, long blond hair, clean shaven face, still looked youngish, and dressed in those sexy leather pants!

Nailed it. Robert Plant truly is a golden God among us mere mortals.
I love his interviews, his humor is so much fun, & always the gorgeous Golden GOD.
And he is extremely quick witted and smart, he gets everything.
To die for.....I love him....he has the most fascinating smile of the world....
Aww that was sweet what he said about his son-in-law and his daughter. Robert has always seemed just so real and just like an awesome guy.
There will never be another Robert. So naturally cool, not trying to be anyone other than himself. I adore this man so much, though it's not an 'attraction' as such, I just truly admire him and his talent. I just wish I could've been alive to witness him at the beginning...I hope I get to see him perform one day!
exactly.
Plant is probably one of the most well read people
in rock history, if not the most well read
. He has touched so many people through rock and roll!! He is a rock legend and icon forever!!
He does have a wonderful singing voice. Nobody else sound like him.
WE LOVE YOU ROBERT, DONT WORRY YOU WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED...for all that you were and are.
What a great man would love 2 meet him 1 day best band ever
She is a great interviewer. Knows her stuff.
This guy has always been so cool. By far, the best lyrics in music. Great guy.
God, he's so effortlessly cool and articulate. He gives a brilliant answer why he doesnt like to talk about Led Zeppelin.
I've met him several times, and he's a HUGE flirt. I'm not his type at all, so that's not it -- he's just a fucking flirt! :-) Once when we met him in Boulder, he said to me and my sister, "Good morning, ladies" as he strutted by in shorts (so tan and fit too), looking at us with that naughty sexy smirk that only Robert Plant can do. jdarrah17 HE IS FUCKIN HOT MUSICIAN SINGER OR NOT HE CAN FLIRT WITH ME ANYTIME ✊🏾
@@tcbell3694 As a small and skinny brunette myself, I would hope that you're right, lol.
He is a compulsive flirt, can't help himself. He is a Tomcat, relentlessly chasing tail. He knows how good he looks and the effect he has on women and works it for all it's worth. It's just the way he is wired. Got to love the guy anyway.
He love women ALL women. He have had all types of girlfriends, even that looked like me, if that's what your eluding to.
Love you Robert!!! You have a wonderful way about you, so down to earth. You will always be the greatest singer in the world to me :)
Nice interview Robert. You look great also.
Such a good communicator
"He's everything that I wish I could be myself." It's so interesting to hear Percy say this about another human being (his son-in-law), when so many thousands of young men have said the same thing about him!!!
Don't forget Robert crafted (wrote) those titllating, legendary vocal melodies with Zeppelin that in large part made the band it was.
They were more about guitar riffs than vocal melodies.
We all love Plant
He's definitely a divine being.
Actually he and Janis Joplin were practically musical twins - they could have done each other's songs, they sounded similar.
what a vision of Godly beauty. Long Live Robert Plant. you are my heart throb.
Robert has this primal aura and the most loving kind warm heart.
Robert is a gift from our God in Heaven.
Yea smack what about them??
put him in front of a woman and he can't help but FLIRT... there is just something about him... I'm an old lady now, and he's an old man, mighty fine !
Never tire of listening to Robert ❤
Nice interview. She really brought out the best of Plant.
You’re the first comment. Cool
Robert came here to be the most beautiful male on the planet - apart from the most amazing voice - he has the "look" to die for!
He's so lovely.
"Led Zeppelin was a very sensitive and beautiful animal-beast"
I think tis says it all! Zepp "the beasts" 4 ever!
Beautiful words

Not the greatest of all time, but up there.
why does Percy always put his head on his hand when speaking in interviews? anyways, you gotta love him.. he's so charming.
A living legend.
he brings out my inner fangirl
Lovely man to show such loving respect for Janis ❤❤❤
his voice never changes which is the best part
he is moving his hands just like on stage :-)
Its roberts sence of humour guys!
The "I cant read" was said in a sarcastic way
Love him ❤️❤️❤️
@hanklove4ever I disagree.. Robert seems to have done well for himself in his solo career. Each member created the success of Led Zeppelin. He contributes so much to rock and roll
So handsome. My mom loves Robert! ❤️

Even charming the pants off Sue Simmons. Gotta love it.
@Luukeeeehh This was most surely 1993, the year Fate Of Nations was released. He is doing the talk show circuit promoting the album. There is a youtube video of Robert performing 29 palms on Letterman promoting this album.

Plant, Rodges and Daltrey are simply the biggest
And Mercury
He's in leather pants, the first thing that came to my mind was, "Oh god, please don't stand up." I'd die. ugh, Zeppelin
SO HANDSOME ✊🏾
When I was a new born baby in '73, he was the perfect sexy man for me now...
YES! so glad him and Joplin met! X) was just wandering that a couple days ago
I LOVE ROBERT! FOR EVER!
I agree, Morrison. In fact, interviews are always much better when the interviewer is truly knowledgeable about his subject. You can tell every time when they're faking it. Bugs me too.
@whatchukno100 I agree. He's extremely attractive!
An endless list of accolades....he's the best..

"Led Zeppelin was a very sensitive and beautiful beast" Well said!
seems like a really well adjusted chap.
Thanks!
I think he was referring to Sinatra's album called Duets.
I'm trying to master his lopsided smile
It is more of a sly little smirk.
Muito simpático esse cara.
Would love to meet him along with John waters
How cool would that be to have Robert Plant as your father in law?

Jake Holmes - Dazed and Confused

Thank you zynwn!

YES, he is.
i already AM older, 51 to be exact.
What year/place is this from??
That would have been the Shaefer beer festival in Central park July 21 1969 that he is talking about.
she tries to get cute with him and he shoots her down big time. what a amazing spirit
1993 - Fate of Nations Tour. I saw him at The Greek Theater.
This interview took place about 15 years ago.
Yes, he is.
I like watching Robert talk to this lady interviewer.
This is unique, because he doesn't normally act this way for most people.

Was he, may I ask, on meth that day?
But I liked how cute Robert looked in this interview, long blond hair, clean shaven face, still looked youngish, and dressed in those sexy leather pants!
Noticed the eyes too. Something very different here. Totally agree.
When was this?
when was this ?
@melissaxoxo78 TOtally agree! Have you seen Led Zeppelin Danish TV 1969? It's beyond amazing
@AwesomeBeatles
Ooh, some of the best lyrics in music.. I will say, the best vocalist in the entire world, though, at his prime.
Robert Plant never wore one of my shirts on stage. I wonder if any of those girls recognized theirs? 😄
what year was this
what a cool guy plant is
What year is this?
What year was this?
well i never thought of it that way
Are there any men like Robert Plant outthere?? ;)
That is what I'm wondering! I don't see ANY!!!!
well...... you got the first third of it right. :)
Imagine a duet of Robert and Janis.
I have imagined. And I think it would have been legendary.
Did he say the incident with joplin accured in 73? joplin died in 70...
