The fact that this dude was rocking a beaver fur trapper hat in the intro made me so happy. The fact that he had to pull a conibear that someone left too long... happy to see that trapping isn't dead. Sorry to see that someone was breaking the law, but definitely happy to see that trapping is still alive and well in the UP.

I liked the film and story, lots of creative camera work and editing. I don’t think it was necessary to include the unit he was hunting and then talk about what town he was near at the end. Doesn’t really add to the story and just increases pressure on those areas. Maybe not by much but it does plant the seed in others hunters minds.

Leupold, which of your rifle scopes should I be looking at to put on a sub 12fps spring or gas piston air rifle? for shooting/hunting between 10 and 50 metres
I see no reply from Leupold, but I learned from their podcasts that all Leupold scopes are constructed to withstand the back and forth recoil of air guns. So I've narrowed the choices down to all of them for you. :-) They seem to have stopped making new podcasts but maybe you can just call their awesome customer service and ask.
How about we blank out hunt units and town names. Make people put in the work on their own two feet to find areas to hunt.

How about we not berate these guys for talking about a unit that doesn’t really sound all that hard to draw. I doubt Leupold forced him to say the unit and town name. None of the other Project Hunt videos gave this info. This leads me to believe that he didn’t care to share. After all, the Project Hunt videos are for people to tell THEIR story and if he wants to tell about the unit he’s in, more power to him. I honestly wouldn’t care to share my local OTC zone because good luck getting a buck if you don’t know anything else about it. Perhaps if you ever get chosen for a Project Hunt video then you can withhold whatever information you want but for now let people tell their own stories.

@@cmfcbass, no, he’s right. I don’t even live in Wyoming, but I agree, these videos are hurting hunting areas, and it sucks having the whole Internet knowing every unit that holds deer with no work. A little bit of tact goes a long way. The same thing has been done down here in Arizona, and it’s not fun when you have every ninja on earth, converging in on your local hunting spot because someone on the Internet decided to make a personal video invite for the whole world. Cough! “Randy Newberg!!!

Gun Barrel was bouncing all over on the shot we sure this isn't a recreation?
WHY DO YOU HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING NEGATIVE ON THIS??? SLOWLY LOOK AT 14:49 YOU WILL SEE THAT AT THAT MOMENT THE BARREL WAS NOT MOVING RIGHT BEFORE HE TOOK THE SHOT. WOW, HAVE A GREAT DAY 🤠✌
I mean I am sure there are some recreation moments in this. Look at 11:44 and 15:08 and multiple other spots. Clearly no mag and can see the bolt through the mag well. I doubt they actually hunted like this but did so to appease the UA-cams. Do I doubt he actually got the buck? No. Great video and great story. Just have to know the medium in/on which you are watching.
