You're a livesaver for this tutorial man, I love Neo Scavenger, BBG's other game, and decided to try this out. It's a lot more complex but also a lot more fun. First time playing I managed to dock my derelict but ran out of oxygen so now I'm going thru your playlist lol.
Kinda wish I came across this video when I first started. When I first started flying I was a beyblade in space and a bullet in docking, this explains things nice and concisely
I'm glad to hear it! I would definitely recommend adding it to your wishlist. For me it's been worth it even in early access, and I'm looking forward to watching it develop.
Thank you for a very useful basics tutorial... after playing for a few dead characters in start game, this tut was exactly what I needed to play a survivor. Now to find out how to sell enough scrap to afford docking at K-leg and get a licence...
I just got the game but going and watching your vids now after salvaging half a ship and barely able to sell anything 😅 it looks likes a good bit has changed.
Love this content, and these kinds of games. Great video, informative and to the point. One thing would be mentioning shortcut keys like for the time increase and stuff. Also was wondering about the crate, is that like a separate storage place to put things? My first failed mission in what they called a coffin (messed up in career somehow) I had stuff all over the floor and no space.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes that's right, you can use the crates for storage, it functions the same as your inventory. As it happens I did do a video on surviving the coffin some time back: ua-cam.com/video/Sx3LZR0EOcg/v-deo.html
I know what you mean, that recently happened to me as well when I started a new game. I'm not sure why, it must be something they introduced in recent updates. It seems you have to check the ship description when choosing to continue your career or taking the ship.
Docking a ship is the hardest thing I've ever done... LOL !. Every time I get close to target it fades above where I'm aiming and I just end up chasing it. WTF ?
After a couple of restarts, the first salvage ship I ran into is a huge one and has a fully functional fusion drive on board, but I have NO clue how to work it. Is there a wiki online somewhere?
I arrived at my first derelict and some of the tiles are missing and it won’t let me even repair them so I can enter am I missing something or just unlucky?
If there is a floor with a hole in it you should be able to use a patch kit. If there is no floor and you have floor tiles you can install a floor tile. One of those should solve it and allow you to walk over the tile.
I'm considering it although a lot has changed since I last played the game, I'd probably need to spend more time with it before making another tutorial
yeah the start seems much different in the half broken and missing bits off the ship you start with as well as bag managment just for starters, well guess what has 2 thumbs and starts a new game every 2 hours... this guy.!@@ChucksIndieGalaxy

I'm actually thinking about buying this game again thanks to you video. Please keep these coming.

That is such an overlooked game! Thanks for the video

Thanks!
is it possible to recharge the eva suit battery?
Why dont I start with that ship? I always start with a barely held together ship where I die within minutes.

It has to do with where u are in the character creation career

you should salvage the nuclear reactor and sell it for $100,000
