    We have this same exact model with the same problem. In fact this is our 3rd washing machine with the same model. They all had problems with the spin cycle. Ours used a one piece unicouple that hooks up to the sink. This is the same set up that the instructions say to use. Turns out there is a design flaw in the drain hose opening which is only 1/2 inch big. Too small for proper drainage. This created a bottleneck and all sorts of problems.
    On a hunch I replaced the drain hose and it works perfectly!

    It’s not totally intuitive that the out of balance would trigger the machine to fill it up and try sgsin vs just stopping and throwing an error code. I wonder… if I left the machine running and went away for three days would it keep trying dutifully or would it give up after say 5 tries.

    • @diego2565557
      @diego2565557  10 місяців тому

      Hi, washers always have some remaining water in them. The smell is most likely due to soap build up between inner drum and outer one. Not much you can do about that.
      You can try using a washer cleaner product and also make sure not to over use soap. Thanks

    Hi Diego
    I bought this machine 3 months ago. it has an extremely loud buzzing soundon the drain/spin cycle, rather like a transformer noise. We had a repair man in and he said there is nothing wrong, it’s how this machine is. Can you confirm this? Is this machine unusually noisy ? The repairman stated he had never worked on this model.

    • @diego2565557
      @diego2565557  Рік тому +1

      Hi Antonia. If the noise is during the spin and drain I will say it’s normal. Most likely it is the drain pump that is loud.

    Diego, thank you very much for a very helpful video. I have the same washer, but just the portable version. Thought this might be my problem, but I felt the balance lever and it feels nice and secure. My problem is the washer goes out of balance as soon as it starts spinning, even if I've rebalanced the clothes immediately before. After it stops I immediately look inside, and clothes are thrown to one side (properly triggering out of balance). Tried several times, could only get it to work with literally 2 small towels in it (fluke), and also it worked spinning a full load of DRY clothes I put in for a test. Machine is properly balanced. Seems the spin/infuser isn't working right such that it immediatly throws the load off balance, and hence it stops and switches to want to redo the rinse, (timer jumps from 10 to 17) and keeps repeating.!! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Bought this 2nd hand from someone who said it's new and they never actually got to use it.

    • @diego2565557
      @diego2565557  2 роки тому

      Hi Kelly. It is very important that you make sure the unit itself is well balanced on the legs. If it is off balance there that could be your issue. You will need a level to make sure you are ok. Try that first.
      Good luck

    • @kellyoshea9283
      @kellyoshea9283 2 роки тому

      @@diego2565557 Yes, it is level, I checked before and after, several times. I had a contractor help set it up. It is on a cement floor, in the unfinished room of my basement, which has some cracks, little bumps, etc. but he put a large thin wood under one back leg to level it, and we checked that the two adjustable front legs are tight on the floor and tightened. The machine feels really stable and still, it does not shake or move, just vibrates as normal I believe. Do you think the machine is Extremely (!) sensitive and sensing some instability? It did do a full spin with a load of DRY clothes, but otherwise, with a very small wet load it has trouble. Additionally, the 1 or 2 times it actually spun with a few wet clothes, they were still dripping wet when it finished the spin cycle. I'd call a local repair person if I thought this seemed like something that sounds fixable.

      @@diego2565557 Hoping you wouldn't mind another question. I'm thinking something holding the drum got damaged during the few recent moves the machine had (placed on side in truck, etc.). Would this machine have dampening straps, etc. that could be checked? With just 2 wet towels, I can hear & feel the drum hit the side of machine at start of spin and therefore it stops. I can feel the corner suspension rods from inside, but not any straps. Thank you so much for any advice!

    • @diego2565557

      @@kellyoshea9283 it sound about right , your suspension my be off place. You will have to remove rather back cover or the entire top in order to re locate them. I think you will have access from behind, I would check that first. If you put the unit on it’s side when moving is highly possible to have the suspension off place. Hope you can fix it.

    • @diego2565557

      Hi Alex.
      I would first check the drain pump to make sure is clear of any foreign object,
      Also make sure the drain pump is working. If you hear it humming that means it could be something stuck in it.
      If you don’t hear nothing could be a bad pump or bad lid switch. Of course you have to put it to spin to do these tests.
      Good luck
