GE washer not spinning out clothes. belt replacement. diagnostics and manual location

and this video the owner complained that the washer is not spinning out the clothes. the clothes are soapy so most likely the cycle is not finishing. also, she said it could be not draining but there was no water in the tub so I ran a quick cycle and everything seemed to be okay. I did notice that she uses the super load so that means very heavy loads, the error code indicated that the unit at some point had trouble spinning the drum so I opened up the belt cover and noticed that the belt was still there but a lot of shavings and pretty loose. I have replaced some belts on this models in the past so going to have to order a new belt. also, I go over how to run a diagnostics to read the error codes. and we're the manual is located. good luck with your repair

I’m working on a similar issue on the same machine different model. I sounded like the Mode shifter was getting stuck. I sprayed some grease on it and so far so good 👍 two loads down anyway
