A fantastic job creating a stone fireplace. I agree that a light would be great. The coals and ash you made look real. You have a real knack for this!😊
Thank you so much for your kind comment. I’m really enjoying doing the makeover, and I’m looking forward to creating all of the miniatures to go inside, so I’m sure this one will keep me busy for some time longer! I’ll be keeping an eye out for my next dollhouse to makeover too! ☺️ I’m so glad you’re enjoying the videos. Thank you for watching.
If you get some fine metal mesh, you can rub your chalk pastels on it and use one of the little plastic boxes with different lidded compartments, you get beads and nail art in them sometimes, and keep your different pastel colours in them and use a makeup brush, which is made for powder on the pastel dust. It applies better with a makeup brush and your hands dont get so messy. You can put white glue on the hearth, then put your biggest coals on it then when you put on the finer coal and ash, use white glue and water mix in a spray bottle to stick the little bits, if the glue water mix doesnt want to go beneath the surface add a bit of isopropyl alcohol and it will. Also theres a channel called thicketworks who does some amazing medieval dollhouse stuff, its for a cricut maker but lots can be adapted to use if you dont have a cricut.
