I love what you've done with the oven, the only thing is I think there were holes in the top where the pots were put and for the heat to come out. I looked tudor ovens up on the internet and there were quite a few, otherwise spot on. Thanks xxx
Thank you. Last night I worked on the wall behind and added smoke stains which improved it a lot. I also started to work on the stone around the fireplace to make it match, and that helped. I think the main fireplace is too small and that’s why the ovens don’t look quite right, but once I start to add other miniature things it’ll hopefully improve. Thank you for your comment 🙂
I for one think it looks lovely the stone work . I'm also enjoying and looking forward to the rest of the videos. Don't forget yule no christmas tree lots of ivy and berries ( just an idea).
Thank you! I’ve actually already made holly and berries… and the video will be posted in December! 😄 …And yesterday my mum turned up at my house with a twig she thinks will make a perfect Yule log! 🤭 Hehehe. I’m loving finding out more about the Tudor era through making miniatures!!
I'm really enjoying this series, your sense of humour is giving me a laugh, I'm really glad I found you. Oh and there is a Scrapstore quite near to where I live in East London. It says Childrens Scrapstore but I think they give stuff to artists too (not that I would exactly call myself an artist, more of an optimistic crafter lol!).
Thank you so much! Ah that’s great that you’ve found a Scrapstore. Hopefully you can use it. I would also put myself into the category of optimistic crafter 😅!
Thank you for your lovely supportive comment. I’ve made a few improvements to the oven since yesterday so I’ll post an update when I’ve fully finished it!
Love your stone!💜💜💜
Thank you! I think I’ll do the same for the flooring!
Very nice. I love how you explain your process.
Thank you! And thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. ☺️

It's perfect:)!!!
Thank you!! 😊 I’ve been working on a few improvements for it so I’ll upload a video to show the outcome in a day or two!!
I'm not a Tudor expert, but a typical Tudor household had many residents so a large oven would be necessary.
