I feel you. (Except I’m Mexican lol) Seeing all these white girls with fair skin and blonde hair has honestly made me feel super conscious of my dark hair and skin.

@@yes4759 omg no!!!! u should look up Jessica Vu if you want tanned skin Inspo (I'm British but im told that I look Spanish cuz of my skin colour), or if you have darker skin then Cenybi is really good but darker/tanned skin is equally as beautiful, even if it takes a lil while to realise

For everyone wanting to look up video's to practice the braid Mei is doing, she is not doing a French braid, but a Dutch braid. Slight difference but if you wanna get the same look, try to look for Dutch braids! ^-^

GIRL WHAT. Fishtail braids are the easiest braids ever, it looks so complicated but its not! You make split your hair into two instead of the usual three and then you just keep pulling strands (smaller the better) from left to right and then right to left repeatedly thats it. It's super free because unlike the other braids where you have to keep track of the strands your pulling and the ordering of tucking, fishtail is FREEDOM.
It takes a lot of time tho cuz the strands are so small and if u have thick hair, it's still hard :')
@@Alyssa-xx8tq I wouldn't say that makes it hard, just takes a lot of time and arm strength. The concept of doing the braid is still in itself very simple compared to other braids.

@@fayth6717 i get your point but i think the og commenter was talking about how surprisingly simple fishtail braids are! ive always assumed theyre too complicated and that i should stay with 3-strand braids, but once i learned fishtail braids this isnt the case :) a friend of mine has cerebral palsy and its hard for her to do a lot of hairstyles, but she loves fishtail braids becayse she can do them easier than a 3-strand :))!

Fishtail braids are really easy to learn, you can literally learn it in under two minutes^^

i find the braid in the back is a lot easier if you tie the front of your hair up first especially if you arent used to it or you have shorter hair because it keeps the hair you dont want to get out of the way
