You should put the hair oil in your hair after straightening, because using a heat tool with oil in your hair basically fries your hair.

@@bella8351 no there's actual spray for that, You gotta think of the oil like using olive oil to cook but instead your hair is what's getting fried lol
if you use an oil with low smoke point (olive oil) it will fry. if you use oil with high smoke point (grape seed oil and avocado oil) it won’t fry.

the moment you put in the hair oil I was thinking how greasy it would make MY hair look if I did that. With natural blonde virgin hair, it darkens with any moisture and with something like oil, it would clump up. I see so many cute asian bloggers use oil on their bangs and it gives me PTSD

Oil before ironing. If u dont want burnt hair u should add it after straightening. Isnt that what ppl sayyyy??? Thats how i do it. I use those protection sprays use my dryer or straightener and then put in oil

Your hair is already so straight and perfect even after waking up and not brushing it at all. Why the hell do you still need to straighten it??... That’s just causing additional unnecessary heat damage, especially to brightly-coloured hair. You should instead avoid using heat as much as possible and focus on repairing your damaged hair. At least use some heat protectant if you still decide to heat style it!! 🤦♀️
