Range is not poor because i am using tiago.ev with 200km range with ac 34000 freaking kms completed in just 8 months but this car gives independence of range in a day it gives most probably 320km of range with ac. Please do a range test and one trip too but in a long trip this range may look less.

@@ayushtractors9778blower is mostly around 50W. I think you mean heater which can decrease range. The air density in colder months is much higher which decreases the range considerably at high speeds....in ICE cars too

As a reviewer, he is entitled to his opinion. You may like Tata so much that you are unable to stand the criticism. Get it. But as a buyer, if I'm investing 15 lakhs, I need to know both positives and negatives in a car. And he is doing that for me.

Whereas Nexon uses LTP which is new with more range less degradation and high cycles in longer term...mg kia Hyundai all used NMC and changed to LTP later whereas Tata used LTP from the start in Nexon... Learn something before comparision Don't compare 60k Nexons with 8k XUV 400s sold till now

Also NMC are still used in Tesla, Volvo and most sports and high range car and it has a reason.
Do note, I own multiple EVs and I have driven more then 2L KM. So I am very much aware about everything.
And go and check NEXON owner group, you get daily one user complaining about battery failure and motor failure which you rarely seen in other cars like MG, Hyundai or even Mahindra.

It doesn't look like a tubelight on these tata cars...theyve done it well...but on verna it just looks weird somehow. I saw the verna directly. Something feels weird. They front end could have been designed better

Top end model on road is 16lkhs. If you choose fast charger and sunroof it will be 17.10lkhs. 17lkhs for a punch seems vfm to you.

6:49 Faisal this is a LFP battery which needs to be charged to 100% to enable cell balancing. The 80% limit is for cars with NMC batteries like ionic, EV6.

I have a 2021 Toyota Yaris Hybrid in UK and it also has seatbelt reminder at the back but when there is no passenger at the back it does not chime
There is a person sitting on rear. He is clearly visible through IRVM. The seatbelt reminder is just detecting that person. All the tata cars have proper weight sensors on all it's seat to detect occupants.

I am not looking at punch petrol and saying, wait, i can spend 5 lakhs more and get and ev and save money on petrol. I am looking at skoda and saying to myself that i need another 10-15 lakhs just for fuel and i can't use it as city car for day to day short runs, so why not punch ev, just as fast, fun to drive with negligible running cost. It's a great built like a tank safe secondary car for city use, which adventure LR with 13.5 to 14 OTR in Delhi NCR is not bad.

Problem with both Tata and Mahindra is their fit and finish. They are 5 star is safety but they also have some very bad finishings. Be it their buttons or their center console or their doors. A major problem with both of them is rusting issue. You need to do expensive PPF to prevent it which not everybody may want to do.
I have Tata Altroz and before I had Tata Zest. Issue is still same even though Altroz is 5 star rated. Same problem I faced in XUV 7OO where it started rusting in 2 years. In Hyundai, Honda, Toyota and Volkswagen these problems I never faced.
Having said all these I am actually planning to by the Nexon EV long range this year.

1lakh diffrence between 25kwh and 35kwh battery, so around 10k per kWh. So battery replacement should be 2.5 lakh for short range and 3.5 lakh for long range.

Why should one charge the battery more than 80%?
Not more than 80% and shouldn't go less than 10%..... because charging over 80 can cause the cells to loose life (same case with phones too)
Observe even in phones the charging speed reduces drastically after the battery is arround (80-85%)....samsung even has a feature to stop charging after 85%.......in short of you want your battery to last longer don't charge it over 80

14 lakh ka ev car should be compared to 10 lakh ka petrol car. 4 lakh extra for ev is about 6000 additional emi amount. But for petrol car, one will spend 6k or more monthly on fuel. So total cost of ownership is same for 14 lakh's ev and 10 lakh's petrol car for moderate usage of under 1000 km monthly. But ev owners drive much more monthly since its cheaper than petrol bike or scooter.
