Design looks lovely, the purple shade is fresh and unique, interiors also have taken a leap & the feature list goes on and on and on....., hopefully Tata can fix the reliability aspects of their cars and the Nexon with its excellent safety & all the new updates will be the de facto choice in the segment. (now we wait for XUV 300 and Sonet facelifts!)

How much power u want is 118hp in petrol and 113hp in diesel is not enough I will go with diesel becoz it has only 5hp less than petrol and 90nm more than petrol and for me hp doesn't matter torque more matter to me
@@JEONJOMON NVH levels are the main concern with Tata cars. Power is good enough in both engine options, but petrol engine sounds like diesel pot at high RPMs. Even diesel engine is not that refined. It needs more insulation to not feel the vibrations or noise inside the cabin.

@Faisal Khan, few ground realities-
1. Turbo petrol reaches 45 KMPH in 1st gear and 92 KMPH in 2nd gear, which is more than the diesel version in 1st and 2nd gear respectively.
2. Turbo petrol can reach 160 KMPH in 4th gear itself leaving 5th and 6th gear to be at stand (I have personally driven it on Yamuna Expressway). So saying that, the turbo petrol version max out at a top speed of 150 KMPH is totally wrong.
3. Turbo petrol version can easily pick from 2nd gear in bumper to bumper traffic / red to green light, which the diesel can't do as the diesel is dead stuff from stop to start in the 2nd gear. It has to be put into 1st gear for initial pickup. So turbo lag is more than that of turbo petrol.
Yes, the torque rush is more in the diesel as compared to the turbo petrol but all the above 3 points are true to the core.

Fantastic informative video Faisal. Now I may be one of the very few "old school" guys who still feel that we should have physical buttons along with touchscreen ones (if not instead of). There's just something about the feel of buttons. Also muscle memory kicks in so you quickly know what to press when without even looking. May be we'll get used to the touch screen in same way, may be we won't. Time will tell.

No Hate for Tata cars but Tata Nexon is the Real Example why Company like Honda believes in "Man Maximum Machine Minimum Philosophy" More the Electronics,Gimmicks more will be the problem in fact Different Different problem for different customers..

Absolutely true. Also Tata has provided a lot of features but did quite a lot of cost cutting. For example - in the name of providing front parking sensors, they have only provided 2 parking sensors on both - the front and the rear. Most companies provide 4 parking sensors on each end. Also, most of the panels are misaligned and panel gaps are humongous, like they can gobble up another Nexon. Consistency isn't Tata's key and their QC is shite.
@@peanutbutterjelly1368that's why most people including me can never convince themselves to buy a Tata. When I am spending 10-15 lakhs, last thing I want is to spend hours after hours in service centers sorting out niggles etc.
@@tykemonster6416 you echo my sentiments. Owned an Indica in 2007 and sold it within 3 months because of it's general quality and persistent problems. Never looked back and bought mostly Hyundais and a couple of Maruti Suzukis after that. I might compromise on structural rigidity, but for me, peace of mind, reliabilty, fit and finish, great engines and build quality are of utmost importance. I just couldn't make up my mind for owning a Tata or a Mahindra again.

tata should changes its engine according to customer perspective. Cosmetic changes looks cool but except diesel petrol engine literally sucks in this heavy car they should give at least 1.5l 4 cyilder engine in nexon.kudos to tata motors what a cool car they launched❤

Very nice review. Personal suggestion for car manufacturers. Having a touch command for opening boot is really risky, many Indians have their kids in the front seat (Which ideally is not right). If the kids are playful and touch the boot command and your boot opens, then your luggage might fall from boot and cause accident from rear vehicles. Also, better to have engine start stop button on the right side of driver instead of left for the same reason.

Tata has done a really excellent job for the 2023 Nexon's Facelift. The new design of the Tata take it up a notch🔥. With Nexon's new designing, is lot better than the previous facelift, has improved a lot in the both Interior and Exterior Layout. The New interior layout is top notch in the segment. The new 2-spoke steering wheel bring a new experience to the compact SUV buyer's and Tata's illumined logo is extraordinary. The new instrument cluster is so clear and easy to use along with the new infotainment system User interface, size, brightness, and etc. Is top tier compared to rivals and the old one's placing, UI and etc. The touch response could be better which would be resolve with an Update in future.
The new Seat comforts is excellent but in lower speed it feel more stiffer side.
The new Exterior is really astonishing. The new Front design is extraordinary future SUV Design. And the rear is also greater than the previous facelift. I really like the new front and rear design. The New rear design could be some more better.
The new lighting layout of Nexon is top tier setup and the new Welcome light feature of Nexon's is phenomenal.
The new Nexon bright an new experience and enjoyment easily, but the performance of the 1.2 litre turbo petrol is not great but has become much better than the previous 1.2 turbo petrol. The Dual Clutch Automatic has become a lot better than the previous one which can be further improved
The 1.5 diesel engines great but NVH Levels should be improve.
Tata has always focus the first priority to Safety, this time Tata takes it to next further level by providing 6 airbag across the all the variant.
New Feature such as The 360 degree camera, rear seat belt alert, Blind spot view camera for the indicator, 3 point seat belt, front parking sensor and etc makes nexon more premium and safety in compact SUV segment. The 360 degree camera quality of Nexon's makes it one of the best in segment.
Tata has put a lots of effort for manufacture the new Nexon's Facelift. The New Nexon overall fit and finish is ok but the some part the fit and finish could be a lot better.
The Ergonomics and the NVH levels of Nexon is not fully perfect. Tata should focus in the ergonomics of the vehicle, NVH levels, turbo petrol engine better refinement, performance, efficiency and etc. Which can make Tata' car's Perfect for Indian Drivers.

You reviewers are all forgetting one thing - how to properly review headlights at night. Checking the beam throw, pattern, illumination front and sides and using the Lux meter. These days the LEDs give very focused beams but often come up short in illuminating the general area around the car.
While MAruti and Hyundai are giving centre passenger head rest, why Tata is lagging behind? After all, it is a safety feature.
How come center passenger head rest is a safety feature?
It's convenience but safety the first time I heard about it please do explain.

Even from front the cuts near the headlight looks somewhat like the cuts near i20 fog lights.. Design is inspired from i20 I guess and the steering reminds of me of the old tata sumo steering wheel
