Every reviewer forgets to mention that the price diffrence is 2+ Lakhs. That makes xuv400 a better value for money car with more width, height, and legth. Took a test drive of both cars. Loved the nexon. But compared to xuv, Nexon is a sub 4 meter suv and it felt smaller when 5 people sat in it. Nexon's console is just next level though. The UI and both the display has no match. The harman UI is so futuristic. XUV has Adrenox which was in xuv700 as well. And has all the necessary console elements. But harman UI on the nexon is just next level. Overall for my family. I felt comfort and space is most essential. That i felt in xuv. P.S.- I asked tata showroom guy about the panel gap i saw in nexon. His reply was "Tata me itna to common hai panal gap😅"
With the latest price cut, better proven reliability and a 16kw bigger battery, Mg zs EV at 20 lakhs onroad price with perhaps every useful feature you can ask for, is actually the best EV car to buy currently.
Recheck all your measurements. There are some blunders. Infotainment in Nexon is not 10.25” but 12.3”. Instrument clusters of both cars are not 7” but 10.25”. Check the official websites. I am skeptical about the interior dimensions too. Wondering if you swapped the car names to dimensions. No way Nexon can be wider inside than XUV? Every reviewer and in person experience indicates XUV is much wider and the only car in segment that is good for 3 people shoulder to shoulder. Expert reviewers and detailed ones should explore more on whats not already there in official brochures. Talk about the insulation and NVH levels, the FDD performance in XUV or soft liners in Nexon boot, LED headlamp performance testing, underbody protection, any exposed cables, bugs and faults which are obvious in our best Indian brands, panel gaps and edges, paint quality etc. etc.
I have a xuv400 2024 bought it in March 2024 EL pro the 39.5 KWH battery The battery is exactly what u are saying I wish it matched Nexon or was closer
If I were to look at an EV this size I would rather buy the MG ZS Base variant. MG which is nothing but SAIC is a Euro NCAP 5Star car and is in 4th or 5th generation of Pure EV platform. I dug into youtube and Google and couldn't find any complaints on the car. The top variant in nexon matches with base variant pricing of MG but personally I think the MG is more VFM as ZS has a 50 kw battery and MG tends to under claim their range.
I think you are the best to give us such a complete comparison in each and every aspect Sir MGZS Ev vs Mahindra XUV 400 comparison please on similar lines Regards
Simply asking you if Tatas LFP was better why don't they offer you a good period of warranty like BYD. Mahindra uses NMC from LG which has better quality than Tatas China LFP😂 *Tatas LFP is just in words😅
@@pchow1235 still if you are saying Tatas LFP is better. Tell me why more than 500 of cars are getting battery replacement every year. Even there was a court case where the court ordered Tata to repay the full amount of the car as he got battery replacement 3 times within 1 year. Whereas even 1 car of Mahindra haven't yet got any Battery Replacement 😏
@@HkJ3708 First of all, BYD is a Chinese company, and Tata has tied up with Gotion, which also ranks among the world's top 10 battery suppliers for EVs. Regarding battery replacement, you have to consider the fact that Mahindra is still a newcomer in the electric market. In May 2023, Mahindra sold 363 cars, whereas Tata sold 5,822 with an 80% market share. The main issue with Tata is service, due to the huge demand and lack of service engineers in the EV department.

Hope both of you haven't seen the interior / Exterior of XUV with your eyes. It looks very premium with its copper roof which is similar to Range rover color.
I actually test drive XUV400 and the switches look like they are from 2010s. I agree that fit and finish is good but the styling is ancient. I prefer Kia's/Hyundai interior over anything now but out of the 2. Nexon's 10inch screen, switch gear and layout looks premium. FKYI, I own a 2024 Verna and I'd not trade the interior with either of these.
@@ashwing7862 Yeah I accept that their styling was a bit old. But upgrading from 2012 Swift dezire VDI .I felt XUV is more than enought. But now they are premium than Nexon with those new Interior. I did mean you may haven't seen that. As in my experience the real eye experience of Mahindras Interior is not disappointing like in Vedios. 😃 Edit- Gear lever of XUV is better because they are easy to operate and feels similar to M series BMW. Also those indicators are a lcd display which changes to blue from white while shifting to different modes. I felt that's more premium 😊

True. With recent price cut mg zs ev is quite appealing
@@Smart.Potato except MG may exit India anytime
MG has lot of reported complaints within last 2 months. In EV groups.
With almost 2L price difference in top spec version, XUV makes all the sense now with the updated version

Tata Nexon Ev is best in Overall comparsion ❤

Hi car quest .. Is it worth taking XUV 400 (nmc battery) in 2024 as new upcoming vehicles are going with lfp's ??

Mahindra uses NMC from LG which has better quality than Tatas China LFP😂

Only 150 to 200km is the maximum range am getting in L mode smooth driving in city condition which is very worst... Don't buy this car
Hand break of Mahindra car is old style but in Nexon tata it's nee only technology
In an ideal world, we'd have Mahindra's exterior and Tata's range & tech. That would be a killer car.
Mahindra's dash and center console looks 🤢
