Yeah for sure. The animations in Cold War wound up feeling super robotic as a result whereas MW is a lot more fluid. That being said, there are a handful of guns that do have great animations, like the MP5, Commando, 74u, and basically all the snipers.
Cold wars animations weren’t that good but I mean they were 1000x better than any cod prior to 2019. I think you have nostalgia goggles on bc all those animations look like they took 5 minutes to create lol. Whereas mw19 started out with beautiful and realistic animations that have improved in quality and sound in mw2 and mw3. Honestly if cold wars animations had cleaner and more accurate sounds I think they would seem much better. If you play mw3 then go back and play vangaurd youll realize that vangaurd actually had like the worst sounds ever.
Insane how much nicer a lot of these reload and ADS firing animations are much better than the final version. Treyarch's always been better at more arcadey and snappy styled gameplay, hopefully for their 2024 CoD they'll stick with that their best at.

9:48 now this, if treyarch wouldnt make cooldown after each shot, it would create nightmares for everyone not using it
