The day has finally come! The schwinn occ chopper is pretty much finished all but a few final touches. In this video, we work on getting it running and riding, along with some of the past issues figured out!
I want to thank everyone for all of the support! STAY MOTORVATED!!
Good to see the youth doing productive things like this. Learning to do for yourself is part of becoming a real man.
INCORRECT. you are always a real man born a man you're a real man. this stuff is just for having joy as a man.
i really want to do this
For fuel tank. Drill holes in middle of stock mounting brackets, measure distance from front tank bolts to back tank bolts, drill starter holes on top of frame same distance apart, flip stock brackets over on top of frame bar, secure with self taping screws, feed tank bolts through and bolt down normally.
Hey homie, how long was the adapter bushing you got on amazon? All I can find is 3 inch ones. Thanks.
You came a long ways for the first ride 😆
Sure did lol lots of trial and error and breaks in between 🤣
Wht engine is that ? There is no gear ?
LOL 7:12 he dropped his wallet! Awesome job man! Maybe this will be my gold plated frame build frame lol!
Lol it looked like my wallet, but it was the air filter cover that fell off.. trust me I’d stop if it was my wallet 🤣
Hi, I saw the last video and yo mentioned an extra spacer. So do you end up putting the extra spacer yes or no, and if the answer is yes, you just put another spacer, build one by your self and if that is the case what measure do you add?
Could you help me with my build?
I'm doing the same and would like to know how you have your throttle linkage hooked up I can only find a ungoverned throttle setups I wanna keep the gov on mine
Kinda hard to explain in comments, but search throttle setup on 79cc predator. There are some good videos out there and you don’t need much.
@@RidingWiithJacob oh dang nvm I'm putting a 212 in mine I missread the title lol I'll figure it out with trail and error thx though
@@RidingWiithJacob welp I changed my mine a 212 won't fit so I'm putting a 79cc lol
Did you end up needing to weld an additional support leg after removing the seat one? Or is the frame still strong enough without the added support? thanks and well done!
@@NickShootsStuff it was strong enough
You inspired me to do a build of my own!!!! Thank you so much man! Keep up the amazing work
Thank you!
Yo how did you get the rear sprocket on
Yo dude don’t fucking worry about haters about your speed you did great homie
Im looking to get a torque converter for my 79cc build but my question is, would the torque converter make the engine less powerful??
ay man im building one too haha
know i'm late but just wanted to give a bit of info in case you wanted to get more outta your 79cc.
mill 50 thousandths off your head, and clean up the intake and exhaust ports (they are horrible stock)
lap your valves afterwards. put in 22lb springs, upgrade carb to a 19mil, you can get a billet flywheel from arc racing, but it comes with only a 4 degree advance (you'll want to advance it a bit more. YMMV depending on engine but i've found mine prefers around 30 to 32BTDC. you can do this by shaving the key, but honestly the 79cc uses a tapered shaft so the key is kida pointless anyways)
doing this will bump up your hp to around five and a half. you can squeeze more out of it, but more than this is gonna require a new cam, which since agk discontinued their 79cc reground cams, means you'll need to find a local shop to do it. i'll post the lobe durations and such just in case, because getting the cam done REALLY wakes this motor up. my current cammed motor makes around 8 horsepower and revs north of 9000.(planning on doing an overbore and stroker on it eventually).
and last but not least, THROW THAT TORCH SPARK PLUG IN THE GOD DAMN TRASH. (seriously, they suck and can fry your coils)
oh, one more thing, this motor lives for higher gear ratios. shoot for a final drive ratio of somewhere around 9 or 10:1.
CAM SPECS-
Intake- .224"lift, 219* duration
Exhaust- .231" lift, 222* duration
Can you post a link to the Amazon adapter you bought? Thanks.
5/8" x 3/4" x 3" Shaft Adapter... www.amazon.com/dp/B07WRFN87L?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Aye sup bro yeah I got me a chopper bike slap the 50cc for my kids to cruise around in when everything was said and done change light to change was very clearing the tire, how do you fix that do I have to buy another motor mount to skip to the left
Great build brother she looks mean I'm about to build one using the Harley Davidson chopper bycicle I'm putting an 80 cc in it
Great, excelent build, some issues, but finnaly, run, great, say hello, joe, continue. Mr.
I have a Stingray Chopper. The standard kits have several parts that are different . Would you mind listing them? I want to do my Stingray. Thank You !!!
Okay so I got the same bike but green and blue and I need those handle bars!! So where do I get those
You really should be able to go much faster with a torque converter, I've recently found out about rear driven pulley spring adjustment which controls how easily the driven pulley opens up. In this video I reckon the green spring is the softest which should open the pulley best with a 79 cc engine. I'll also post another video showing how to swap them more clearly.

That’s a great tip I will definitely be doing this.
I subscribed to your channel, can you please make a video about how it turns out? Thanks.
First
Clean build! 10 years from now, you should have your own brand.
👍 Sounds great.....🤯
It's All about Electric tho.....😌
im 65 and like building thing hoping to start a bike
You should thread some pipe through the original crank hole and bend it for foot pegs. My chopper has foot pegs on the forks. That would work too.
I ended up welding the pedals both facing towards the front wheel to the original crank hole 👍🏼
Super nice bike! I’m going to be starting my 3rd bike build with a 208cc
Sweet! That should give some good power!’
Where’s you get the tensioner from? I built a bike like yours and use a occ bike frame but I put a predator 212cc ghost engine so ya. Chain rubs against the bottom frame of the bike so was just wondering where you got it from.
Amazon most likely I can’t remember exactly.
You need foot pegs so you don't look so goofy riding around
Foot pegs through where the crankshaft was..
I ordered a 30 series torque converter and the bolt holes didn't line up with my 79cc predator. No matter which way you turned it.
Which torque converter did you use?
Comet clutch 212cc off amazon
Got 4 of them set up with 80cc kit so decided to put a 79cc pred on my 5th since it’s been sitting around but wanted to see how someone else did it before I put a bunch of money into it great vid
Sweet! Good luck thanks for watching 👍🏼
What size of chain did you use bro ?
Size #41 chain
What type of chain did u use ?
I have a similar project going on and don’t know what chain to buy
@@harrycurrie6543 when you buy a rear sprocket it will say what chain it works with, same for from spocket. goodluck!
@@RidingWiithJacob thanks keep up the videos !
whered u get the kit
You better put some heat rap around the pipe
why is your chain tenioner pointing down
Nice work! But ima keep mine a bicycle
No.pegs? (Ok he got it)
I'm about to do this with a 212cc predator
What's the top speed ?
Price
About to start the same project. Any advice would be helpful.
Buy a 79cc motor mounting plate to weld to frame, buy the 12$ throttle kit for 79cc, big rear sprocket, I wasn’t a fan of centrifugal clutch. Those were pretty much my big problems.
Foot pegs?
what brake adapter did you use for your rear 203mm disk brakes?
I don’t have rear disk breaks. Just stock brakes for now.
Hey what kind of sprocket hub adapter do you have all the ones for this bike are like 60-80$$
You probably would have been alot happier w/ an electric hub motor.... So much easier and a lot cleaner.
Yea, but those arent as cool as this motor
Electric hub motors are for people who can't do what he did.
Does the Torque converter function properly with only 2.5hp? Can it ramp up the full amount? Even if it doesnt do you feel like on hills it does a lot better? I really want to get one for my 79cc motor but one of the guys at gopowersports said it wouldnt function well.
With the proper gearing, and governor removed, it was WAAAY better than the centrifugal clutch. If you really want to break down and do it right they make a 79cc torque converter but it’s crazy expensive. But I mean it worked fine for me just cruising in the neighborhood Florida doesn’t many hills so wouldn’t know about that.
@@RidingWiithJacob Im going from a 79cc Lifan to a Torque Converter to a 10t sprocket to a 32sprocket on a 11inch wheel. Basically I would get all the Torque I need on flat ground from the converter gearing and when the RPM raises its already geared for Topend speed. Mainly I want to break belts and put less wear on the engine instead of the output shaft and the clutch.
I dont have anything in yet, otherwise I would have just put everything together already and put up a video myself. From what I can tell from your videos and others, the Torque converter will engage well enough and give me the torgque I need to get up steep grades. Im not sure what Kind of gearing Ill end up with but I dont see myself
having a problem either way. Its one of those, I'll be fine situations for sure.
Btw, your audio sounds kind of muffled, maybe clean your mic if you have one?
Nice project but after you add the foot pegs and fine tune the engine if you can do so if you want more speed see about altering the frame slightly by adding a down pipe under the seat to add a geared sprocket and Jack shaft assembly it should work wonders
I really like your bike and just decided to build my own and this is a great templet I hope you make videos on this.
Where did you get the sprocket kit for this i have the same bike
Bikeberry.com
Is it a legit website?
Uh, there’s no footrests.
As I stated in the video 👍🏼
Good job kid 👍
What cinde of moter is that
It’s in the title of the video.
I just found one of these bikes in the trash today, def gonna think about do this
Isn't it a pain in the ass to get working lol
What the rim and tyre size?
Stroke?
Where you get the kit
Very good 👍
top speed?
Thanks so much, I have been thinking of the CVT on the 79cc for a while, then came upon your build..I knew it would be fine. Bet you could put a 36 tooth on wheel and maybe go too fast for sure. Looks good!
Thanks for watching! Good luck with your build👍🏼
Come back to this with 2 stroke man👍
