never disassembled a bike before but this video really helped me. Bought one of these for $65 at a flea market. Giving it a new paint job and upgrading it to an electric
I just got one of these at Goodwill for $5.99, the green one. I’m gonna start restoring and customizing it, anyone know where to get parts? I’ve been googling just looking for suggestions
I just purchased one of these bikes used on offer up and I realized it is missing the fork/steerer tube top cap part that you are removing at 9:30, does anybody know where I can get a replacement and what this part is called?? Also would it be dangerous to ride the bike without this piece?? If anyone can give some advice it would be greatly appreciated.
Idk why for the two screws on top of the fork holding the two pipes on top are always tight I had to use a welding machine to remove them with a metal stick because they were stripped so badly

What’s the washer that is on 1:00 of the video it’s the lung then the washer and then that other washer that is different? Lost one of mines and don’t know what’s it called to look for one
@@austinshangout8078 this bike has a seat that's welded to the post, and the post is too wide to put a regular seat post on. So you either buy an original seat, or buy some post shims and a regular post and a regular seat. It's expensive either way.

My bike I bought used on OfferUp came with the top cap piece missing for some reason.
I need rear fender & seat recovered
I was thinking about recovering the seat, but I needed it to sit back. I'm pretty sure Jim @ pedalchopper.com can help with parts.
