Hearts/wires is such a good track and I used to listen to the title track quite a bit too. With that said I would place that as my least favourite of their albums.
I love all of their albums, save for Gore and Adrenaline. Saturday Night Wrist grew on me; I really appreciate the apocalyptic sound of the album, fitting seeing as the band nearly ended, and almost every song is drenched with a feeling of finality (plus, the album really brings me back to the mid-2000s. I can't explain it, but it feels timeless but also feels like a product from that era that's frozen in time).

9. Gore 8. Ohms 7. Adrenaline 6. Self titled 5. Around the Fur 4. Koi no yokan 3. Saturday night wrist 2. Diamond eyes 1. White Pony I think Saturday Night Wrist deserves a bit more Love. A ton of people think Around the fur is their fav/the best but to me the best song on it is be quiet and drive. It’s was a glimpse of the more shoegazey elements and the euphoria that Deftones started to be more known for. And White pony just absolutely blows ATF out of the water.
3,4,5,&6 are all SUPER close. 8 and 9 are also quite close. I've actually made a Microsoft word spreadsheet with a track off for every album(each track #1 listed from best to worst, same with track #2, then #3, etc. then everything tallied up). This is the list that method came up with, with Koi No Yokan and Diamond Eyes being exactly tied(Ohms was just barely under). Honestly it's an exact match of the list I made prior to doing the spreadsheet, and choosing between Koi and Diamond has always been the hardest choice between any of them. I was surprised how accurate the method was since it does have flaws regarding coming up with a definitive list 1. Around The Fur 2. Deftones 3. White Pony 4. Koi No Yokan 5. Diamond Eyes 6. Ohms 7. Saturday Night Wrist 8. Adrenaline 9. Gore Also, glad to hear you admit that the self titled album is growing on you. That was also my least favorite for several years after it came out, and now it's my #2. It's a grower for sure
i saw deftones live and honestly it was such a great experience. i was screaming the lyrics until my ass fell off. my throat was so sore afterwards because of how much i was screaming it was honestly so good bro

Around The Fur The album I truly don’t listen to is Gore, otherwise every Album I listen to all the way through. Me personally, I’m a guitarist and vocalist so thats what I appreciate the most. So my top songs have the heavy guitars and screams. That’s why my ranking is where it is. I honestly think their self titled is one of their heaviest albums with Bloody Cape, When Girls telephone Boys, and Needles and Pins.
1. White Pony 2. Around the fur 3. Saturday Night Wrist 4. Diamond Eyes 5. Koi No Yokan 6. Deftones 7. Adrenaline 8. Ohms 9. Gore But… I still like some songs of Gore, and Ohms is a pretty good record. It’s just that the rest of their records is just great.
My list has changed so much since becoming a fan, Self Titled used to be pretty much dead last for me. It's my most listened to Deftones album, but I don't think it's there best 1) Koi No Yokan 2) White Pony 3) Diamond Eyes 4) Deftones 5) Around The Fur 6) Ohms 7) Adrenaline 8) Saturday Night Wrist 9) Gore
I dont think they have bad albums just bad songs but here's my ranking #9 Saturday Night Wrist #8 Gore #7 Self Titled #6 Ohms #5 Adrenaline I like the Debut more then Ohms mainly to the way it sounds and also the songs #4 Around The Fur Love This Album its the one that got me into the band and the song that got me into the band was Keep Quite And Drive(Far Away) #3 Diamond Eyes this use to be my number 1 for a few years until this year its also the first one I bought on CD #2 White Pony Love This Album its the first album that comes to mind when I think Deftones and almost everyones #1 from the band Love Passenger best song off the album mainly because Tool is my #1 favorite band thanks to my dad but if my dad never showed me Tool growing up it would probably be Deftones but Deftones is my number 2 #1 Koi No Yokan I use to not listen to this album that much but now since this year im always listening to this album over the others I also now own all 9 studio albums by them and I got to see them Live in May this year in Toronto with Gojira Supporting them that was a Great first Concert

I’m always so confused when people put white pony ahead of around the fur…. But I guess it just has more range…. I fell in such love with fur, that I always thought it was their greatest…. But pony goes from super super heavy to super super chill, whereas fur is basically a metal album with one or two soft songs….. I guess pony at the top makes sense considering we all love the bands ability to be searing and smooth simultaneously.
Usually when it comes other bands and I look at other people's rankings, I always have some nitpick about the placements, and especially the top 3. But when it comes to Deftones, the ranking can be absolutely different each time and I still think, yeah that is valid. Like I don't get how none of the tier lists ever really offend me, they all seem valid, cause Deftones is just a band that rarely misses, it just boils down to personal preference.
My own opinions about Deftones' discography: Adrenaline (1995) -If anything, this album is what peak skater boy from the '90s would sound like. The aggressive, punk sound trademarked Deftones' iconic nu-metal sound that marked its journey to being one of the most influential bands in the world right now. Rating: 8.5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 🔥🔥 Emotion: Aggressive, teenage angst-type tone Fave tracks: Minus Blindfold, Birthmark, 7 Words Around The Fur (1997) -This album further solidified Deftones' nu-metal style and encorporated new sounds and themes, kinda like Adrenaline but with teen hormones and libido. Rating: 9.5/10 💥 Enjoyment: 10/10 Emotion: Sexually aggressive, toxic-romantic style Fave tracks: Lotion, Be Quiet And Drive, Mascara White Pony (2000) -This is where Deftones peaked as their strongest, most influential album of nu-metal history, with synth sounds added to further mark their departure from the nu-metal genre into a more iconic, experimental sound. This is where the band exploded in popularity as well. Rating: 11/10 🗣️🔥🔥 Enjoyment: 15/10 Emotion: Dark, depressing, melancholic vibe Fave tracks: Digital Bath, Feiticeira, Pink Maggit Deftones (2003) -Their heaviest album in my opinion, more targetted on themes of rage and anger with certain influences from grunge and shoegaze. This particular album is my personal top 1 out of everything else. A well-balanced album. Rating: 10/10 🤯 Enjoyment: 20/10 🔥 Emotion: Extremely gloomy, heavy, furious Fave tracks: Hexagram, When Girls Telephone Boys, Bloody Cape Saturday Night Wrist (2006) -The band's most depressing album, with every member having differences with each other, their bassist on a coma, and Chino experiencing drug addiction and a cold divorce. This album was the amalgamation of all negative feelings the band has collected. An amazing album for me. Rating: 10/10 Enjoyment: 10/10🔥🔥 Emotion: Sadness, depression, anger, mentally painful, melancholic Fave tracks: Hole In The Earth, Rats!Rats!Rats!, Combat Diamond Eyes -Following Chi's death, this album trademarked Deftones' rebirth, with their new bassist Sergio. This album has strayed far off from their nu-metal genre and is more focused on a dreamy, atmospheric shoegaze tone. Peak Deftones. Rating: 10/10 💥 Enjoyment: 11/10 Emotion: Atmospheric, psychedelic, addicting, dreamy Fave tracks: Beauty School, Risk, 976-EVIL Koi No Yokan (2012) -Where the band fully encompasses their shoegaze tone. This album was their peak in terms of style and talent, making this album top tier in terms of emotional power it brings. Rating: 12/10 Enjoyment: 20/10 🔥 Emotion: Euphoria, atmospheric, ethereal, heavenly Fave tracks: Rosemary, Entombed, Gauze Gore (2016) -Deftones' weakest album for me, in terms of mixing and the songs included. Not a bad album to be honest, but some songs don't really do that well compared to their other songs. Rating: 7/10😓 Enjoyment: 8/10 Emotion: Happiness, dreamy, heavenly Fave tracks: Phantom Bride, Hearts / Wires, Geometric Headdress Ohms (2020) -Their latest album, which did Gore justice. A perfect way to explain this album is, it's like a mix of all previous albums encorporated into a single album. All of their styles, from nu-metal to grunge to shoegaze, can be heard in this album. A great album for me. Rating: 9.7/10 🤯 Enjoyment: 10/10 Emotion: Scrambling, melancholic, atmospheric Fave tracks: Error, Ceremony, Radiant City My personal rating: 1.Deftones 2.Koi No Yokan 3.Saturday Night Wrist 4.White Pony 5.Diamond Eyes 6.Around The Fur 7.Ohms 8.Adrenaline 9.Gore Still waiting for a new album, long live Deftones 🔥

Around the Fur has my favorite songs but Koi No Yokan, White Pony, Deftones, & Diamond Eyes are on the same level. Those 5 are great. I haven't heard Ohms or Saturday Night Wrist yet. I'm checking out their newest ASAP now

Pretty solid ranking man. I would have put koi over diamond eyes, but I think that's just a personal thing cause where life was when koi was released . Although, diamond eyes is the album that resurrected my love for this band. I pretty much wrote them off as done after one listening of wrist. Diamond eyes forced me to revisit wrist, and now its one of my faves. Anyways , awesome video!
Ok lets get into it.. i appreciate your opinion good list to me just have a few critiques on songs you didn’t mention but I’m sure you have heard in the albums that are underrated and hidden gems on your worst albums lol Gore-yes the main songs are obviously good.. but don’t forget rubicon which is my favorite track off album! Xenon, acid hologram and of course hearts/wires are amazing! But i agree its my least favorite as well use don’t think its a bad album Self titled- don’t sleep on When girls telephone boys! Favorite song off album. Battle-axe and bloody cape omg are amazing! Adrenaline- yes you are absolutely correct riffs are the most raw on this album but give some spect on Lifter( favorite track) one weak, birthmark, nosebleed and of course fireal! Now for my favorite album around the fur.. my favorite track is LOTION!!!! I feel around the fur is a masterpiece as well but all the songs are great to me! MX with the hidden song Damone OMG the greatest hidden track ever! Dai the flue is amazing too! Anyways good video but just wanted to point those out in case you skipped them while listening to them at one point and never fully heard them lol For me list is 9. Gore 8. Self titled 7. Ohms 6. Saturday night wrist 5. Koi No Yokan 4. Adrenaline 3. White pony 2. Diamond eyes 1. Around the fur Last 3 albums i love every song but unfortunately I don’t feel the same for 4 and 5 i always skip songs in those albums along with the other albums
I haven't heard every deftones album, but around the fur is definitely my favourite, songs like Rickets, headup are so beautiful but aggressive and make me bash my head, while mascara and lhabia are so peaceful but ominous but in a good way,, i like every song on that album, but rickets is probably my favourite Deftones song.
9.adrenaline 8.saturday night wrist 7.gore 6.deftones 5.diamond eyes 4.white pony 3.around the fur 2.ohms 1.koy no yokan- this album makes me wanna cry but im a good way, like it just makes me calm, especially leathers and poltergeist they are my top songs on that album because of the heaviness and energy, i also like entombed, its like talking to yourself at 3am its just so calming and relatable
it’s ever changing for me but for right now, my personal ranking would be: 9) Gore 8) Self Titled 7) Adrenaline 6) Saturday Night Wrist 5) Ohms 4) Diamond Eyes 3) Koi No Yokan 2) Around The Fur 1) White Pony you could seitch 2,3,and 4 around and i would still agree, those albums are pretty much the same level of greatness for me (are lists are pretty close to the same lol)
This is such a hard band to rank albums for because it's so different fan to fan. Deftones makes flavors for everyone so someones personal taste in music leads them to fall into particular albums, if that makes since. I love heavy music so all of Deftones heavy albums are the ones I return to the most. My list would looks like this. A+ - White Pony, Around the Fur A - Ohms, Self-Titled, Diamond eyes B - Adrenaline, Gore C- SNW, KNY
I'll defend SNW until I die. Some of their heaviest material alongside some shoegaze tendencies. Cherry Waves, Combat, Kimdracule, Reviere, all classics to me.
I was introduced to Deftones last year, and needless to say they have quickly became my all-time favorite band. Without a doubt they have some of the best alt. and nu metal records i've ever heard. I absolutely love how ethereal, dreamy and atmospheric their music is. Deftones also got me into shoegaze and dream pop, they're basically the reason why i found the music that truly speaks to me. If i had to rank their albums, it'd go something like this 9.) Gore 8.) Adrenaline 7.) Self-titled 6.) Ohms 5.) Diamond Eyes 4.) Saturday Night Wrist 3.) Koi No Yokan 2.) Around the Fur 1.) White Pony
@@leerorerorerorero4845 yeah there are more songs I go back to on Gore than I do Adrenaline. For me, Adrenaline feels like a debut where they're still ironing out their sound.
Questiom, how do You Heard those? I got White and deftones on cd and went My two top albums, the followers wss on digital era and listen shitti MP3, some 320 but the context online ruin things like Gore, wich i just find cd and find really solid, cohesive and a Nice soft detalls, like Koi wich i hate for years and now enjoy the noise aproach, but again, stream or MP3 make some things flat or digitalanxiety interruptus

1. Around the fur 2. Diamond Eyes 3. White Pony 4. Adrenaline 5. Deftones As has been repeatedly stated, it’s a testament to the quality of their catalogue that everyone has a different ranking, which is unusual in music. 9. Adrenaline 8. Gore 7. Self-Titled 6. Saturday Night Wrist 5. Koi No Yokan 4. Around the Fur 3. Ohms 2. Diamond Eyes 1. White Pony All have greatness in them, just some more than others. The top 5 is fluid for me. Ohms is underrated by a lot of fans in my opinion
My ranking: 9-7. Saturday Night Wrist/Gore/Ohms (tied; I could swap any of these out) 6. Koi No Yokan 5. Diamond Eyes 4. Deftones 3. Adrenaline 2. Around the Fur 1. White Pony
1 - Diamond Eyes 2 - Around the Fur 3 - White Pony 4 - Saturday Night Wrist 5 - Deftones 6 - Koi No Yokan 7 - Ohms 8 - Adrenaline 9 - Gore Covers would be my number 4 if we consider that as well
I’m surprised Ohms isn’t higher on some of these lists. Diamond Eyes would be my #1. I sometimes wonder how much of DE was part of Eros. It could be that when Eros gets released it will be 5 original tracks and maybe 4 “Eros Sessions” versions of songs from DE.
I liked one album in one time, one in another... Actually, what album I listen - that album was the best. Except for Andrinaline and Around the fur. In last one I was pulled in really recently, and it's great, but I don't think i will ever discribe it as the best their album. Just every another - White Pony, Deftones, Saturday Night Wrist, Dimond Eyes, Koi no Yokan, Gore and Ohms - every of them is the best album for me.
Ohms is my favorite album of all time, besides iowa. My ranking is 1: ohms 2: around the fur 3: white pony 4: diamond eyes 5: Saturday night wrist 6: koi no yokan 7: adrenaline 8 self titled 9: gore
Imo Saturday Night Wrist has some of their best work on it. Beware, Cherry Waves, Hole in the Earth, and Rivière are some of their best songs. Same with Self-Titled. Ohms I thought was a bit underwhelming.
Adrenaline - Really fucking Fun. Around the Fur - My pants are wet White Pony - It's like being comfortably warm and cold at the same time Deftones - One word: Heavy as shit Saturday Night Wrist - It's like being in a beautiful and weird alternate universe Diamond Eyes - Baby making album Koi no Yokan - I am floating Gore - Experiments gone wrong? 4. Koi no yokan
3. Saturday night wrist
2. Diamond eyes
1. White Pony
I think Saturday Night Wrist deserves a bit more Love. A ton of people think Around the fur is their fav/the best but to me the best song on it is be quiet and drive. It’s was a glimpse of the more shoegazey elements and the euphoria that Deftones started to be more known for. And White pony just absolutely blows ATF out of the water.
I honestly don’t find my self listening to be quiet and drive as much any more. My real favorites from the Album are Lotion, MX, and Damones.
MX gotta be the best “ hidden “ track of all time
3,4,5,&6 are all SUPER close. I was surprised how accurate the method was since it does have flaws regarding coming up with a definitive list
1. Around The Fur
2. Deftones
3. White Pony
4. Koi No Yokan
5. Diamond Eyes
6. Ohms
7. Saturday Night Wrist
8. Adrenaline
9. Gore
Also, glad to hear you admit that the self titled album is growing on you. That was also my least favorite for several years after it came out, and now it's my #2. It's a grower for sure
i saw deftones live and honestly it was such a great experience. i was screaming the lyrics until my ass fell off. my throat was so sore afterwards because of how much i was screaming it was honestly so good bro
Can’t wait to see them live one day
@@letterbombmedia664 im pretty sure theyll be live in nevada soon
@@letterbombmedia664I had to skip some on your video because i didn’t like what you said some of the album
Solid list. I'd maybe on flip a couple of them. But your taste is pretty on point with mine here.
9. Gore
8. Diamond Eyes
7. Saturday Night Wrist
6. Ohms
5. Adrenaline
4. Self Titled
3. Koi No Yokan
2. White Pony
1. Around The Fur
The album I truly don’t listen to is Gore, otherwise every Album I listen to all the way through.
I haven’t listened to all their albums so I can’t give a list. But my favorite so far is hands down Koi No Yokan. Every song is a masterpiece
1. White Pony
2. Around the fur
3. Saturday Night Wrist
4. Diamond Eyes
5. Koi No Yokan
6. Deftones
7. Adrenaline
8. Ohms
9. Gore
But… I still like some songs of Gore, and Ohms is a pretty good record. It’s just that the rest of their records is just great.
Anniversary of an Uninteresting Event is sooooo underated in the 2003 Deftones album. Would recommend relistening to it
That song has actually stuck out recently. Pretty good song
I agree, that song is amazing. I also think 'Bloody Cape' is a standout. 'Deathblow' is another I feel gets forgotten about on this record.
@@MrMCPhilly I also like Bloody Cape. The only song that I don't like in that entire album is When Girls Telephone Boys.
Facts I don’t understand why self titled gets so much hate compared to the others.
My list has changed so much since becoming a fan, Self Titled used to be pretty much dead last for me. It's my most listened to Deftones album, but I don't think it's there best
1) Koi No Yokan
2) White Pony
3) Diamond Eyes
4) Deftones
5) Around The Fur
6) Ohms
7) Adrenaline
8) Saturday Night Wrist
9) Gore
I dont think they have bad albums just bad songs but here's my ranking
#9 Saturday Night Wrist
#8 Gore
#7 Self Titled
#6 Ohms
#5 Adrenaline I like the Debut more then Ohms mainly to the way it sounds and also the songs
#4 Around The Fur Love This Album its the one that got me into the band and the song that got me into the band was Keep Quite And Drive(Far Away)
#3 Diamond Eyes this use to be my number 1 for a few years until this year its also the first one I bought on CD
#2 White Pony Love This Album its the first album that comes to mind when I think Deftones and almost everyones #1 from the band Love Passenger best song off the album mainly because Tool is my #1 favorite band thanks to my dad but if my dad never showed me Tool growing up it would probably be Deftones but Deftones is my number 2
#1 Koi No Yokan I use to not listen to this album that much but now since this year im always listening to this album over the others I also now own all 9 studio albums by them and I got to see them Live in May this year in Toronto with Gojira Supporting them that was a Great first Concert
Their demo Like Linus is top 3 for me. It just sounds kinda rough but the songs are great. I wish they would remaster it.
give another chance to Saturday Night Wrist if you love koi no yokan i dont see a reason why its your least fav. and i get that there must be least fav but
Saturday Night Wrist has some bad tracks but give a listen to xerces, beware, riviere. Just perfection.
@@7XL9 I have I like it a bit more now but I just like gore more then saturday night wrist its mainly due to some songs that I dont like it as much I just like how gore sounds more then I like saturday night wrist

Yassss
I’m always so confused when people put white pony ahead of around the fur…. But I guess it just has more range…. I fell in such love with fur, that I always thought it was their greatest…. But pony goes from super super heavy to super super chill, whereas fur is basically a metal album with one or two soft songs…..
I guess pony at the top makes sense considering we all love the bands ability to be searing and smooth simultaneously.
Around the fur I could always listen to straight through.Every song is a banger. White pony is amazing but had a couple tracks I didn’t care for
Usually when it comes other bands and I look at other people's rankings, I always have some nitpick about the placements, and especially the top 3. But when it comes to Deftones, the ranking can be absolutely different each time and I still think, yeah that is valid. Like I don't get how none of the tier lists ever really offend me, they all seem valid, cause Deftones is just a band that rarely misses, it just boils down to personal preference.
My own opinions about Deftones' discography:
Adrenaline (1995)
-If anything, this album is what peak skater boy from the '90s would sound like. The aggressive, punk sound trademarked Deftones' iconic nu-metal sound that marked its journey to being one of the most influential bands in the world right now.
Rating: 8.5/10
Enjoyment: 9/10 🔥🔥
Emotion: Aggressive, teenage angst-type tone
Fave tracks: Minus Blindfold, Birthmark, 7 Words
Around The Fur (1997)
-This album further solidified Deftones' nu-metal style and encorporated new sounds and themes, kinda like Adrenaline but with teen hormones and libido.
Rating: 9.5/10 💥
Enjoyment: 10/10
Emotion: Sexually aggressive, toxic-romantic style
Fave tracks: Lotion, Be Quiet And Drive, Mascara
White Pony (2000)
-This is where Deftones peaked as their strongest, most influential album of nu-metal history, with synth sounds added to further mark their departure from the nu-metal genre into a more iconic, experimental sound. This is where the band exploded in popularity as well.
Rating: 11/10 🗣️🔥🔥
Enjoyment: 15/10
Emotion: Dark, depressing, melancholic vibe
Fave tracks: Digital Bath, Feiticeira, Pink Maggit
Deftones (2003)
-Their heaviest album in my opinion, more targetted on themes of rage and anger with certain influences from grunge and shoegaze. This particular album is my personal top 1 out of everything else. A well-balanced album.
Rating: 10/10 🤯
Enjoyment: 20/10 🔥
Emotion: Extremely gloomy, heavy, furious
Fave tracks: Hexagram, When Girls Telephone Boys, Bloody Cape
Saturday Night Wrist (2006)
-The band's most depressing album, with every member having differences with each other, their bassist on a coma, and Chino experiencing drug addiction and a cold divorce. This album was the amalgamation of all negative feelings the band has collected. An amazing album for me.
Rating: 10/10
Enjoyment: 10/10🔥🔥
Emotion: Sadness, depression, anger, mentally painful, melancholic
Fave tracks: Hole In The Earth, Rats!Rats!Rats!, Combat
Diamond Eyes
-Following Chi's death, this album trademarked Deftones' rebirth, with their new bassist Sergio. This album has strayed far off from their nu-metal genre and is more focused on a dreamy, atmospheric shoegaze tone. Peak Deftones.
Rating: 10/10 💥
Enjoyment: 11/10
Emotion: Atmospheric, psychedelic, addicting, dreamy
Fave tracks: Beauty School, Risk, 976-EVIL
Koi No Yokan (2012)
-Where the band fully encompasses their shoegaze tone. This album was their peak in terms of style and talent, making this album top tier in terms of emotional power it brings.
Rating: 12/10
Enjoyment: 20/10 🔥
Emotion: Euphoria, atmospheric, ethereal, heavenly
Fave tracks: Rosemary, Entombed, Gauze
Gore (2016)
-Deftones' weakest album for me, in terms of mixing and the songs included. Not a bad album to be honest, but some songs don't really do that well compared to their other songs.
Rating: 7/10😓
Enjoyment: 8/10
Emotion: Happiness, dreamy, heavenly
Fave tracks: Phantom Bride, Hearts / Wires, Geometric Headdress
Ohms (2020)
-Their latest album, which did Gore justice. A perfect way to explain this album is, it's like a mix of all previous albums encorporated into a single album. All of their styles, from nu-metal to grunge to shoegaze, can be heard in this album. A great album for me.
Rating: 9.7/10 🤯
Enjoyment: 10/10
Emotion: Scrambling, melancholic, atmospheric
Fave tracks: Error, Ceremony, Radiant City

Finally some love shown for adrenaline
Was very late bloomer. Diamond Eyes was my introduction to this amazing band!! Be hook ever since!!
Around the Fur has my favorite songs but Koi No Yokan, White Pony, Deftones, & Diamond Eyes are on the same level. Those 5 are great. I haven't heard Ohms or Saturday Night Wrist yet. I'm checking out their newest ASAP now
Diamond eyes for me is a perfect versatile blend of deftones, I don't skip one track

Pretty solid ranking man. I would have put koi over diamond eyes, but I think that's just a personal thing cause where life was when koi was released
. Although, diamond eyes is the album that resurrected my love for this band. I pretty much wrote them off as done after one listening of wrist. Diamond eyes forced me to revisit wrist, and now its one of my faves. Anyways , awesome video!
Thank you so much man 🙏🏻
Solid ranking
Thank you 🙏🏻
Adrenaline ranking higher than selftitled is crazy, good list tho.
Ok lets get into it.. i appreciate your opinion good list to me just have a few critiques on songs you didn’t mention but I’m sure you have heard in the albums that are underrated and hidden gems on your worst albums lol
Gore-yes the main songs are obviously good.. but don’t forget rubicon which is my favorite track off album! Xenon, acid hologram and of course hearts/wires are amazing! But i agree its my least favorite as well use don’t think its a bad album
Self titled- don’t sleep on When girls telephone boys!
Anyways good video but just wanted to point those out in case you skipped them while listening to them at one point and never fully heard them lol
For me list is
9. Gore
8. Self titled
7. Ohms
6. Saturday night wrist
5. Koi No Yokan
4. Adrenaline
3. White pony
2. Diamond eyes
1. Around the fur
Last 3 albums i love every song but unfortunately I don’t feel the same for 4 and 5 i always skip songs in those albums along with the other albums

(are lists are pretty close to the same lol)
This is such a hard band to rank albums for because
it's so different fan to fan. Deftones makes flavors
for everyone so someones personal taste in music
leads them to fall into particular albums, if that
makes since. I love heavy music so all of Deftones
heavy albums are the ones I return to the most. My
list would looks like this.
A+ - White Pony, Around the Fur
A - Ohms, Self-Titled, Diamond eyes
B - Adrenaline, Gore
C- SNW, KNY

3. Diamond eyes
4. Around the fur
5. Deftones
6. Koi no Yokan
7. Ohms
8. Adrenaline
9. Gore
I'll defend SNW until I die. Some of their heaviest material alongside some shoegaze tendencies. Cherry Waves, Combat, Kimdracule, Reviere, all classics to me.
Combat is soooo underrated, I never hear anyone talking about that track
I was introduced to Deftones last year, and needless to say they have quickly became my all-time favorite band. Without a doubt they have some of the best alt. and nu metal records i've ever heard. I absolutely love how ethereal, dreamy and atmospheric their music is. Deftones also got me into shoegaze and dream pop, they're basically the reason why i found the music that truly speaks to me.
If i had to rank their albums, it'd go something like this
9.) Gore
8.) Adrenaline
7.) Self-titled
6.) Ohms
5.) Diamond Eyes
4.) Saturday Night Wrist
3.) Koi No Yokan
2.) Around the Fur
1.) White Pony
ngl i like them so much thatr i can't really make a top 9 list, ofc i like some better than others, but i just love there music in general
For me:
9. Adrenaline
8. Self Titled
7. Gore
6. White Pony
5. Around the Fur
4. Saturday Night Wrist
3. Diamond Eyes
2. Ohms
1. Koi No Yokan
you like GORE!!?!? more than ADRENALINE?!?!?!?
@@leerorerorerorero4845 yeah there are more songs I go back to on Gore than I do Adrenaline. For me, Adrenaline feels like a debut where they're still ironing out their sound.
You didn’t put white pony in your top 5 😂 whatta lame
Damn their self titled is my 1st or 2nd favorite album not sure where I'd rank it but it's definitely one of my favorites
Can’t believe you didn’t mention xerces and for sat night wrist man that song is perfect
I love deftones tbh I bought some vinyls of them this Christmas
Nice! Which ones?

5- self titled
4- around the fur
3-diamond eyes
2- ohms

Questiom, how do You Heard those? I got White and deftones on cd and went My two top albums, the followers wss on digital era and listen shitti MP3, some 320 but the context online ruin things like Gore, wich i just find cd and find really solid, cohesive and a Nice soft detalls, like Koi wich i hate for years and now enjoy the noise aproach, but again, stream or MP3 make some things flat or digitalanxiety interruptus
Investing in a good pair of headphones helps

Diamond Eyes is #1...newer than White Pony. Listened to White Pony a lot so Diamond Eyes is a different fresh new sound. Love Team Sleep ❤️

As has been repeatedly stated, it’s a testament to the quality of their catalogue that everyone has a different ranking, which is unusual in music. For me Be quiet and Drive and Diamond Eyes are top all time rock songs, not just for deftones but in rock music.
Gore has Hearts/Wires and Phantom Bride though, those songs are awesome

The one thing all deftones fan has in common is that the top 3 is around the fur, white pony, and diamond eyes, whatever order it is in
i love deftones but white pony and especially koi no yokan are just perfect from start to finish without any cracked out experiments

Doomed user is a amazing song from gore. Super overlooked.
My ranking is
1: ohms
2: around the fur
3: white pony
4: diamond eyes
5: Saturday night wrist
6: koi no yokan
7: adrenaline
8 self titled
9: gore
Imo Saturday Night Wrist has some of their best work on it. Beware, Cherry Waves, Hole in the Earth, and Rivière are some of their best songs. Same with Self-Titled. Ohms I thought was a bit underwhelming.
Adrenaline - Really fucking Fun.
Around the Fur - My pants are wet
White Pony - It's like being comfortably warm and cold at the same time
Deftones - One word: Heavy as shit
Saturday Night Wrist - It's like being in a beautiful and weird alternate universe
Diamond Eyes - Baby making album
Koi no Yokan - I am floating
Gore - Experiments gone wrong? (right?) I dunno I have mixed feelings about this one
Ohms - ambatukam
My top 5 albums for them are Adrenaline,Around the fur,White pony,Diamond eyes, and deftones their fourth album
self titled is their most underrated album, stg
I agree on self titled not being one of my favorite albums either, I just don’t jive with it
