I'm older now and have always enjoyed this song. But, Supernatural has claimed it as it's own and I can't help but think of the adventures of Sam and Dean Winchester now.

There is actually this amazing show called Supernatural that used this song as an unofficial theme and it was a lot of fun and a lot of really good action scenes with a lot of emotional moments too and it just had its series finale earlier this month, but all 15 seasons are on Netflix now and it truly is an amazing ride and worth it if you decided to watch it all the way through.
A lot of KANSAS' music is spiritual. You have to pay close attention to the lyrics to get the message. Maybe not exactly spiritual, more inspirational.
1989 Chastain Park, Atlanta. One of the best concerts I’ve ever been to, and one of the best songs ever written, in my opinion. “Though my eyes could see, I still was a blind man. The best thing about young people such as yourself enjoying these songs, is that you are enjoying them as we did, for the first time! I am going on 60. These were new to the world then.
Kansas is a supergroup. Their best stuff never made it to the mainstream radio. "The wall" is another great song on this album. "Nobody's home," my personal favorite.
This is one of the songs that immediately comes to mind when people make those "cowbell" jokes about classic rock. All this 70s music that is the soundtrack of my middle & high school years is still my go-to feel good music.
There’s a guy in the group his name is John Elefante and he made a Christian CD around the middle 80s. I always knew these guys were spiritual. Which I love me some Jesus!!!
Another great song....they also released Dust in the Wind on their Point of Know return album in 1977 a year after Carry on Wayward Son. They’re genre was rock/progressive rock. I have all these vinyl albums to this day. Leaving them to my grandkids when I leave this world. I sure hope they appreciate them lol.
I used to sleep to this entire album every night. Kansas is a strange territory. Mainly because they were experimental and did some really strange things. Some people have had to listen to some of the weird songs a few times before they actually could find themselves enjoying it. They are definitely one of the influences of Dream Theater.
