Looks hella fun. Will be getting her next times around . did unlock bb-8. And on my way with old ben 7*. I always was thinking jedi training Rey would be great. I mean these Developers are becoming jedi at making even better greater toons with each strike. Thanks for the info and post. Very cool and Is making wish the day I unlock her was now.
Ahnald - could I convince you to try Imperial Probe Droid over CLS. He has AOE dispel which can, with zeta, prevent the opponents getting buffs. Expose on basic is nice and he synergises with R2 number crunch and gives himself, bb8 and r2 another 8% turn meter on turn 1.
This video makes me REALLY happy! LOL! I was gearing old ben for Luke's event when it returns and I just got R2's number crunch zeta last week. I was worried I was going to need General Kenobi but I'm glad that doesn't seem to be the case, as my guild is still a little ways away from doing his heroic. Thanks for another awesome video!

Starbuck I have a vid going out tomorrow with MG and a non-meta team clobbered Rey. Shows hope there are ways to take out Rey easily
AhnaldT101 thanks mate. I did actually beat her fairly easily with a non-CLS General Zarriss with GAT squad without any major issues yesterday, so thankfully she’s no CLS.
@AhnaldT101 I think the foundation of the 'magic team' is ReyJT + BB-8 + R2D2 as you're already running, Kind of like the zFinn-Poe-RT combo. Basically with the three former mentioned you get +40% CC for the whole team, and 50/50 chance to triple attack when Rey uses Defiant Slash. When the triple attack goes off perfectly, you can potentially expose x3 = -15% TM from enemy team, and +30% TM for allies.
ReyJT = Defiant Slash >> BB-8 = Roll with the Punches >> R2D2 = Triple Attack
ReyJT Lead = each crit grants Expose which grants 10% TM and -5% TM from each enemy when exposed and reduce cool downs
R2 passive = all allies +10% crit chance + ReyJT Lead = +30% crit chance = +40% CC for all
Also wondering how GK's 'Lead the Charge' would work, by calling all buffed allies to assist, if calling BB-8 would also trigger 'Roll with the Punches' to squeeze out +1 more assist, calling R2 or ReyJT twice?

I think Resistance just became even more deadly for Territory Wars. You can now run two crazy Resistance-expose teams: JTR-BB-R2 on defense, and Finn/Poe/RT on offense. Add in their Jakku-TW buffs, and they would be very nasty.
Jedi Training Rey is amazing in Arena (Top 50 with her) and Raids! For now i'm running her with BB-8, R2-D2, Old Ben and Scavenger Rey. All Toons G11. In territory war i have her on defense -> the opponent team lost a lot of squads to JTR! :D

Take a look at chopper's kit; there seems to be some nice synergy with JTR, bb8, R2, and chopper. Plus, chopper's taunt and dispel compliment the team well. I'm not sure who the 5th member would be yet.

I don’t think CLS is on the team the developer was referring to. He said that he doesn’t wanna see CLS and JTR just team up and dominate the meta.
Seems pretty good and a different way to play in arena but nothing game breaking so thats good. Ill get her next time just like i will get Commander Luke soon. But i still prefer Darkside toons so i will work on them mostly. Taking forever to farm Wampa shards though.
Great video, as always... I'd love to see a video of the new Rey with an all Resistance squad. I realize it might not be meta-breaking, but it would be interesting to see how they work with everyone throwing out exposes. Also, to figure out if she is really a better zleader than Finn, or if she is just a good addition under his leadership.
Also another interesting character may be Fulcrum Ahsoka. You would think she would be quite deadly under an illuminated Destiny
Thanks for the video, super helpful always. I love JTR and so happy I managed to unlock her. I have tried out your team suggestion in GW and is a lot of fun. I have the rest at g12 but Rey and bb8 only g9 with No zetas. I've got 2 to use, would you advise both on Rey or her leadership and bb8s unique?
Hey, Ahnald, i’m curious about what my arena team is like at their strongest. I know they have some glaring weakness but they’re really good against a lot of meta. If you get a chance, i encourage you to play around with them and see how it goes :)
It’s incredibly dependant on stealth; it’s teebo lead (for stealth), zombie, Zventress, anakin and Zarris. The more the zombie dies, the more powerful ventress gets and more turns anakin gets, zarris is there for teams that do critical damage and my zombie is very weak specifically so that she does die often. And anakin is good for inflicting buff/healing immunity.
Can't wait to get her and test her out ourselves! This was great to watch
Hey Ahnald nice vid again! Idk if its just me but i think your audio is just ever so slightly off. For example, at 9:42 you gave away that r2 took out NSA because your audio is ahead of the gameplay.

Ahnald, can you try Poe in the tank slot? I suspect he's actually the tank in the team comp that's been hinted. If Poe goes first, taunts and exposes 4 people then that's alot of tm and removal for the opposing team correct? Then your team goes and gets his CD back down to 0 and he does it again. Right?
Hey Ahnaldt, quick question. Between R2's combat analysis and BB 8's roll with the punches, which one would you zeta first for this team? I already have Rey's leader zeta'd and and already have R2's number crunch zeta'd. Thank you!

Will you be trying a full-expose team to see if her tm mechanics can go into a tm gain or tm reduction loop? I dunno, mebbe JRey, R2, BB8, Poe, RTrooper?

I think that killing GK first might make the whole fight easier because then you don’t have to deal with crit immunity.
Having said that, if Rey dies before killing Barriss, but after killing GK, would be unfortunate. But I have a hard time seeing that happening.
Take out your Old Ben and add Gar Saxon. It'll be Rey JT (lead), BB-8, R2-D2, GK, and Gar. The counter attacks from Gar is insane.

The dev that you guys interviewed several time said they wanted to avoid seeing a bunch CLS JTR teams running around. I still think that they team they hinted at doesn't include CLS. I just don't know who it would be

I think RJT, BB8, R2, Rey (scav), and Wampa will be super strong. I'm kind of keen on Old Ben after seeing your vid and if he were to take a slot on the team, it might be Rey (scav)'s spot.
Jedi Training Rey seems to be amazing but i think everyone expecting her to be different (big damage etc.) !! Maybe Rey and CLS should be tested on other teams with other characters more ''simple'' !!
But the question of the day is will Night Sisters still be able to become meta? so Imperial Troopers can become relevant.

You didn't mention or show what speed Old Ben was. He has to be super fast to be the most effective. 110+ speeds. But, I think I might switch my team around to use your recommendation! Thanks for the vid.
with old ben in this mix, would you say its better to keep him alive as long as possible and spewing mind tricks, or would it not matter if he were to die quickly? mines at g9 with decent mods,but id like an opinion on this as it could go either way really.
I'm very curious to see Moff Tarkin in there in some instance. I believe he will benefit greatly from secret Intel buff and could possibly wipe a squad out with his aoe. Also does AA, Tactical Genius work with ID?
I run G12 R2, G11 Thrawn, G11 5* Raid Han, G10 Deathtrooper, G10 Shoretrooper and I just tore through this team, all G12, double zeta on Rey and Zeta on BB8. Didn’t even lose anyone. I am not impressed at all with her in defence
You played it wrong, use r2d2 burn with jit-rey L= expose

Can you try a JTRey, BB8, R2, Hermit Yoda and then maybe Luke or Kenobi. Was thinking Masters training zBB8 assist shenanigans

Rey basically learned the ways of the Old Ben.
I use Zinn as my main team in raids, arena, etc. Is Rey's leader good enough to replace him? Does it still kinda work the same? Does speed matter now since i don't see much about TM gain?
How about Capt Han Solo with Old Ben and ReyJT? Maybe RJT(L), CHS, OB, BB8, R2?
Both Ahnald and Mobile Gamer practically have the same lineup... the only difference is the age of Kenobi... :)
Can you try out BB8, JT Rey and Ahsoka Fulcrum. They work great for me. with all those buffs Ahsoka can one-shot enemies. so i think if they were all full powered together they would be great. mine are not as powered up or zeta'd as these on your test account. but i tried in the tank raid and got 4.3 mill in a turn which for me is really good.

Okay I laughed a little too hard when I saw Imperial Probe droid in one of the teams. It's almost like he probed himself in there.
R2D2 is great but is it worth droping Nihlius OHKO on a team that is THAT defensive?

You would've done much better on the second fight against GK if you had just put heal immunity on GK from the start. You spent an age wasting Rey's lead on Barriss with crit immunity up. You're playing this team like you would a CLS meta and bringing down Barriss first: don't. Go straight after GK like you did much later in the fight

with all the new resistance and first order units that might come free to farm soon, is there a way that you could do a video what kond of first order team would be good for TW, or if there is any place were FO brings something to the table. I‘m still not sure if kRUM is better leader than phasma.

I actually prefer scavenger Rey. She is so much better than CLS in a Rey team
What about ashoka tano (fulcrum) ? Double mega buff could give her two nuke attacks.

What about using hermit yoda? His masters training could call many combos if used on bb8

That... third team? With Scavenger Rey? Resist Trooper would be a better fifth instead of Scavenger Rey. I've found his buff removal to be amazingly useful. The control provided by Rey, Ben, and Trooper would be pretty scary.
Should also test the team on pure auto. They're saying she's great on defense which means trusting the derpy ai.
try using ahsoka tano fulcrum with that team for the buff synergy and turn meter

I feel like they made this useless character in unmasked kylo and they haven't changed him at all in these large updates so maybe he has a place here? thanks man! and ea might make a team like this because of the new movie lol.
Just like Finn you can win on offense. But she's still easy to blow throw when on defense. No real change for me. Just another team that wins on offense but loses on defense.
xendlesseax every team is supposed to lose on defense. The point is how hard is it to fight and if it would be worth your time.
Cuttlefish well it's only recent that all teams lose on defense bc of over powered characters. Earlier in the game you avoided teams you knee you would lose too and the top end of arena was a struggle. Now it's people getting in groups to get rewards based on time zone bc defense isn't an issue. They said she was the best defensive unit so I expected more on defense. But like all the others she's pointless on defense.
Stillrob V there were strong defensive teams that could not be beaten unless you had great teams. As he doesn't add anything to defense which is sad being labeled as the best defensive unit. She is a support character not a tank.
Stillrob V yes Poe was one of those teams as well as the sun fac tank team. But she doesn't add anything for defense only offense.

I really do think Old Ben is part of the lineup, but now who are the other two in the lineup? My guess is maybe Scavenger Rey and R2, since they seem solid with hitting multiple times.
Don't think so, the devs would never put the same character 2 times in the same team. I still think that she's good but not that awesome as cls, don't need to rush her and spend money as they want us to.

Does Old Ben benefit from the gear 12 items (minus the top one, it is good)? I have him gear 12 but when I look at the 2 items I don't see how they benefit him. Its mainly tactics which give him resistance and special dmg, but he doesn't have a move that uses "special damage."
Chris Lisk yeah he definitely does a little bit. Takes more of a beating so he can taunt longer for your team. I prefer him geared up so he keeps the enemy off my other team members
Rey is ok on offense. Good, but who cares as long as she loses in up to 2 minuets top to an average CLS lead team?
