In 2019 I volunteered at Camp Sign in Houston where we hosted the end of summer party for the kids. The camp was not only for the deaf community but for non-dead siblings who needed to learn ASL to communicate in the family, as well as interpreters. We had massive speakers and a Jumbotron with ASL music videos. It was awesome for the kids to sing karaoke in sign language, jamming to Katy Perry and Rihanna. I love everything about this story. I volunteer and work to help make the world more accessible in my jobs I’ve had in corporate America and also in the adventure tourism industry (I’m a disabled veteran with a spine disability but am still very active)

She is so beautiful and I love her energy. She definitely is a inspiration to the deaf community. I hope she goes far in life.
This young lady truly brings an incredible experience to the ASL community like no other - love everything about her!!!🥰
Justina killed it...I loved watching her sign language....She knew every word to the song...She really could dance..Thank You.
She is an Interpreter so she would of had time to interpret the songs and practice beforehand..
Beautiful..Like an interpretive dance..Imagine this at every show..Hope she inspires a generation of inclusive musicians..Its not just about the sound..Its all about the feeling..the rhythm..Being a part of something bigger than just yourself..
She made ASL look like bomb choreography! Happy black history month - we add seasoning to everything🔥
All day, everyday!!!! ✊🏾🫡
Absolutely!!!
If that's the case she should've been the one on the stage right? And there's no such thing as "black history month". Their history is American history that includes all groups of colors and ethnicities.
@@rpgadventurer32 ok. 🥱

LOVED THIS!!!! Her energy was unparalleled! Beautiful girl!
I am glad she was the one to do it, signing music is different to signing a normal speech, because it's not just words, it's the music and she expressed the music and the words and how they were sung with exceptional skill, turing off the sound and watching her, you can still feel the music, and as a person with hearing I could still hear the music playing in my head as she signed.
This Beautiful Woman shows just how important interpretters are to the Deaf and HoH communities- how she so perfectly captures the energy and the rhythm of the music even for those who can't enjoy music in the same capacity as Hearing people. All that and you can see she's having fun! Kudos to her!
She killed the entire game for us and the deaf community! Thank you for your passion. We watched in awe!
She’s so great but I think she’s inspiration to all not one community! She’s sooo good! Loved her getting the praise
She def gave what I wanted Ri to give 😊
Phenomenal. She somehow feels the beats and she does not miss a beat!
She will inspire many, so in the energy and vibe of every song .
She did not understand the assignment, she invented the assignment 🔥
Very well said.
She was definitely feelinggg the music. Enjoying the music and doing her job, amazing!
KILLED it! Bringing ALLL this FLAVOR in sign language! Can't STOP, Won't STOP! WOW! Seasoning on EVERYTHING, even sign language!!! LOVE it!!! Excellence and flavor that just WON'T quit! (Does "Pay me what you owe me" sign language sequence)
She's a phenomenal human being, very gifted. Imagine all the people who benefited from watching her; they get to experience what music is through their own form of communication. Many Blessings to her.🥰🙏🏻
We need people like her. She's truly an inspiration. Thank you Justina! 💕✌️
I was taught ASL at a young age because my aunt is deaf and there are lots of cases where people are claiming to be interpreters but aren't. This young lady right here is truly amazing. Not only is she deaf but you would not be able to tell by the way she engages her whole body with it.
LOVE IT..... Involving EVERYONE & LOVING OTHERS IS THE KEY TO A FOREVER WORLD
In 2019 I volunteered at Camp Sign in Houston where we hosted the end of summer party for the kids.
That sounds so cool!! I wish ASL could be incorporated into all K-12 schools across the country, but I understand people will object over cost of “resources.”
It would be a fantastic plan of making the hearing society even more inclusive and educated about Deaf and HOH.
Thank you for your service by the way!!
I absolutely love her! I need her to book every award show and concert her calendar can hold. #SheIsAVibe 🔥❤️
Justina is an excellent communicator and I hope that this will give her a larger platform to share with others. I am glad that she has brought much deserved attention to the death, hard of hearing, and disability community. I think it is important that people with disabilities (seen and non-seen) continue to use their gifts and talents in every field and industry.
Thanks ET for sharing this story with people that may have missed it!
I hope the kids get on this, they can learn to sign and dance along.
That's a GREAT idea! ❤
And it’s a high paying profession too 🤑🤑
Love how this young lady hit every beat! She's young, smart, talented, and gorgeous! You go black girl❤️👍🏾
That was the performance I didnt know I needed… she ate and left not one crumb… go head Justina!
I love watching the sign language interpreters when they do concerts and lively songs. I enjoy the song on a whole different level. Kudos to them
I watched it but missed her. Ok girl, she did her thang😁🥰💪🏽
SHE IS VERY GOODJUST LOVE WATCHING HER HOW SHE BRING THE FEELING TO SIGN LANGUAGE! WELL DONE YOUNG LADY!!

She was phenomenal!! I had to watch 4 times 1 time just watch Riri one time watch Justina and twice to watch both.
Justina add the icing to the performance watching both of them together it was fantastic!🔥☄️🔥
I hope we get to see her translate more songs in the future! I’d go to any performance just to see her! She was the music! Amazing! 💖
Yes, ET!! Thank you for featuring her. You couldn’t take your eyes off of her. Just radiant.
I happened to watch the ASL stream of yesterday's Halftime Show and I loved it! I'm not hard of hearing or deaf but I appreciate the interpreter's work - she matched her signing to the energy of the songs so well!
I've been trying to find the whole video of just the ASL interpreter Do you know where to find it?
@@jennasunshine152 no, sorry!
@@lilensik ok thanks for getting back to me! ☀️
1st time ever I’ve seen so many interpretations of sign Language 🤟 ☝️👉🏽🤌🏼✌️🤛🫳🏼🫲🏽 but the is the BEST !!! She makes deaf 🧏♀️ not deaf. Lol she makes the sign language look like dance moves !
"she makes the sign language look like dance moves !" EXACTLY~
Wow! What a talent this young lady has to sign and vibe in sync with the lyrics! Amazing!
Bc she’s absolutely beautiful & exuding love & light vibessss for all who are deaf to enjoy 💜
That's my girl. Rihanna as always made everyone inclusive. That means Rihanna picked her personally. Sis you shined.
I was more focused on Sign Language interpreter Justina Miles than Rihanna. I had to go back and just watch Rihanna's half time show. Now that I know the interpreters name... Justina definitely rocked out that performance 🤩
Yeah I was totally into her interpretation, and I can't even read sign!
Justina is absolutely incredible and added the extra vibe to RiRi’s performance!
She es amazing!!! She definitely gave a good vibe and perspective of the show!!!!

Fun way to learn sign language for me . :) She is even dancing to the rhythm of the songs and signs with such grace, that is phenomenal!
💜💜💜
OMG! She was amazing! She was so on point! Best wishes for her Nursing Career! WOW So ICONIC!!!
When the ASL interpreter steals the show from RiRi that’s saying something. She had way more energy I love it❤
Rihanna’s dancers were phenomenal. The outfits, the choreo, it was exceptional.
the ONE baggy white outfit you mean? far from exceptional! come on, do you really think that?
@@yuridouche6195 they were phenomenal, all they day was flop and walk back and forth on the stage. Any of us could’ve done that. One of the worst half time shows ever. Nothing exciting about it
@@Toucan11 tell me you can’t dance & have no rhythm without telling me you can’t 😂
