NMN is a popular natural supplement that is claimed to be effective in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including aging. However, the FDA has banned NMN as a natural supplement because there is insufficient evidence to support its claims or is NMN dangerous? We'll discuss this in this video!

And that selling it cheaply as a supplement would interfere with big pharmas plans to sell it for a ridiculous price. Much like the FAA, the FDA is run for the benefit of the people it's supposed to regulate.

What are you talking about - sugars are life itself which is why carbohydrates in nature convert to sugars. Next to oxygen sugars oxidise to create carbon dioxide. It is the interference of dietary unnatural seeds oil's free fatty acids (or too much polyunsaturated fats) that competes with glucose that is the real cause for blood sugar excess. Sugars are hardwired in our DNA and that is why every child naturally craves sugars

According to my understanding of a Health Act passed by Congress some years ago (can't remember the year), the FDA lacks legal authority to ban naturally occurring supplements. We had this battle years ago over things like vitamin C, and the FDA lost the battle when hundreds of thousands of Americans wrote their Congressmen protesting the FDA's authoritarian over-reach. I'm not sure what makes them think they can do this now, other than the overt rise in corruption over the past seven years.

I remember them pushing the ban on natural vitamin C, but over the last 4 years or so vitamin C via intravenous has been on a sharp decline in use in hospitals. This has happened even after it has shown to have good value in helping patients recover. But not to detract from the original argument if I’m not mistaken the vit c was classified as a whole food and they didn’t want that being sold

Thank you for the explanation in the video. It is informative.
For those who prefer chemical names rather than just abbreviations :-
NMN = niacinamide ( aka nicotinamide ) mononucleotide is a vitamin B3 variant
    > small enough for transport into cell where it is converted into the bigger
NAD+ = niacinamide ( aka nicotinamide ) adenine dinucleotide, which is the actively usable derivative involved in mitochondria within cells to generate energy (Adenosine Triphosphate ATP).
Ageing > decline in NAD+ > decline in cellular energy production > deficiency in repairs.

It‘s a completely different mechanism of action; NAC works as an antioxidant, NMN raises NAD levels in your body.

NMN and NAC are two completely different molecules that do different things. NAC is a precursor to the antioxidant glutathione. NMN is discussed in this video--- and many many many others.

I recently saw a 2022/2023 video that showed research that NMR studies found it could cause or increase dementia. My first thought watching this video is if NMN can temporarily flip to NMR then perhaps this could be the reason for FDA questioning it’s safety.
