Nice demonstration of skills and tools.
If you have a workshop, drills, grinders, welders, spot welders, spray paint, steel stock, fabrication skills and an understanding of rechargeable batteries and bicycle modifications then this would be a walk in the park for you and that’s probably why the average Joe wanting an Ebike spends a grand at a bike shop and buys a ‘road legal restricted’ Ebike.
This video shows a level of knowledge and skill that’s worthy of admiration and praise.
👍
Watched from Yosemite Kentucky. Very inspiring to build and use your creation. Thanks for sharing.
This guy's a freaking Pro making those battery packs, I could never do anything like that!! 😮
Dude, your battery skills have gotten much better 👍🏽 simple effective short circuit protection👏🏽 also can't believe that first bike frame held up, second one is better 👍🏽
safe? 2:01 exposing those connection medjo hindi yan safe. kung may mahulog lng isang strip na hawak mo pwd na ma short yan :) . At 4 nickel strips lng na 4 series connection? kung sukat nya ay 7mm x .15mm = 1.05 multiply mo sa 14.17 for acceptable temp. bali 14.88 Amps each so for 4 connections 60A. Kung di lalagpas jan okay lang x2 naman for pule rate.
I don't see that he adds the appropriate isolation? And Nickel strips don't seem sufficient to me, especially in a hot country. I use multiple copper wires in parallel from old house installation cables. Then both sides get clear neutral silicone over all the contacts so even if something would touch the battery it would not cause sparks or fire!
This is so cool, it'd be great to know how much it all cost and the time it took - unless I missed it somewhere! Keep up the great work 👍
You can convert your existing push bike for close to £350 off Amazon just might not have the same range but purfect for city life
Another good video Albert. You are good that you show actual distance range of your batteries during test run. Not many do this to show of capacity and capability of what they make. Well done, on another fine effort...👏👍
mostly 10wh per KM. so 13s12p gawa nya 12x13 = 156 batteries. Pwd each batteries nasa mga 15WH if 2,340WH yung battery nya nasa 234km? But rought estimate lng yan.

English ? 🥴 So in miles that's ??? Flat ground .with no help from peddling. I know speed will be a factor.
It's not a game changer ,
I'd like to have something to shoot for! Love your brain .
Thank you sir.
Impressive build, and great video! Love all the smart data you're able to collect & share.
Would be neat to see your ride plotted with Power (W), Speed (km/h), at different slopes.
Nickel copper nickel sandwich. Nice. Where did you learn that from? Endless Sphere? I did my first battery like that, parallel connections first then series. I just finished a 14s 33ah tesla model 3 21700 battery pack. This time I did the series connections first and doubled them up for more current. Next time I will use a nickel copper nickel sandwich for the series connections with the daly smart bms like you did. Well done.
copper sandwich are great but you need some power full spot welder to.. have a nice project sir
@@albertnario4877 Yes, thank you. I am almost finished all I need to do is change the motor bearings. I bought fake SKF bearings from eBay and they failed. I will be more carefully in the future.
@@albertnario4877 love from West Bengal ❤️
1.0 or 1.5kw motor ?
What is the milage with 54 ah battery ??
Hello. After such a rework, the frame will not break? I also really want to make a similar version from my regular bicycle frame
Ayoss broo 👍🙌
Im your subscriber i watch your videos too brother 💓
salamat.. gawa ka dn bro...

Nice job, man!
Greetings from Europe, Ro.
I hope some day i can turn my bike into an ebike.
✌️
E-bike building...."More Fun In The Philippines" :-) Well done po
YesSiRr!! Mate.. your a Genius!! Awesome stuff.. thankz for sharing...
I'm still waiting to see Albert building a electric one wheel😁
Very awesome build. Thats amazing range. What is the max speed? And are you looking to build one for sale? If so i am looking to buy one.
That's about a 150 km range super commuter. Impressive!
Nice project! What's the total weight of this bike?
Ang galing! May bike, scooter at go cart at wheel chair! Bka may bigay sayo ng lumang Minica ! Next project mo electric car na!
Awesome build but all the virbrations from the bike going to wear away at the insulation between the sets of 18650's? Looks likeyou added another layer of insulation between each set of voltages. Will that be enough rather than using plastic seperators etc? Thanks
Were you from i want.to.order that kind of bike
wow ! Magnificent !
What is the weight of the bike ? The max speed ?
Your welding skills are impressive. Why do you use big welding stick for this thin metal ? Is that easier ?
that's the thinest welding stick I can get..
@@albertnario4877 oh ok i see !
Is the battery compartiment even sealed against water?
You should leave a listing for the tools like I'd love to know where you got that spot welder for the batteries?!
You said you traveled 100 km with your bike, but you forgot to specify travel speed.
With 50 km / h, travel a distance, but 30 km / h, go almost double.
So the speed of travel matters a very lot !
Em minutos 10:50 aparece no alto da tela a distância, tempo, acumulado de subida e velocidade
@@aldomota7087 OK. I'm going to look again.
(Vou procurar de novo.)
Nicely done. CHEERS and G'day from Australia mate.
That is one huge battery, respect. I got the same bms for 16s lifepo4 battery. Using a copper plate at the + and - is great idea, main poles can be tough to connect properly. I got the same brakes too, I like that it is hydraulic but driven by wire. Do you have regen brake in it too? I like to use light lfp-battery that gives good power all the way, I need to charge often, but it's ok it can take it. Li-ion tends to lose power when its low on charge.
lupit mo talaga idol, sana makagawa din ako soon ng sariling kong ebike ehehehe
pag kelangan mo tulong dto lang ako.. 😁👌
Same lods kahit ako gusto ko din, no need ng motor kung pwede naman makapag ride gamit e-bike
WOW, the best as far. Would you want to sell it as an E-Bike kit? And for how much? Thnx
Thnx for sharing!
Very nice this takes building your own e bike to the next level. I have subbed thanks for sharing.
Galing! Thanks sa pag share ng skills mo bro! Worth subscribing 👌
I watched some of your vids you are awesome i have an electric scooter your making me want to buy one of your ebikes
nice build sir, basic na umakyat ng duhat nyan 👍
kahit samat pa..
Hi. I don't think it's cheap (materials and ALL your work).
But it surely fun.
Enjoy it.😊👍
100 perfect wind resistant . Lol you had on a parachute jacket. Awsome build. What speed did you have on the end of the 1/3 trip. I can see the height map and that was some good incline for a minute or 20
I'm aiming for 40kph constantly, from start to end. I didn't sense it to be slowed.
Good job bro. I hope makagawa kapa ng maraming ganyan then benta mo . Maraming bibili nyan.
ang galing mo talaga sir👍👍👍
Over all cost of battery + Motor kit ?
Great bike! And it is almost 100% DIY! I get sad every time I see such a great DIY e-bike, because in Germany, where I live, the first police officer I meet would immediately take the bike away from me and probably arrest me ...
that really sad.
Very glad that something like this is actually not allowed in Germany, people are dumb and especially many bicycle riders don't even care for rules or alone look before crossing/turning.
Alone regular pedelecs (25 kmh) seems to much for many riders I see using them :D now imagine everyone could just whack out such an contraption.
I can't really judge the structural integrity of this bike, but with that amount of power and weight the frame seriously takes a beating. Metal fatigue can be a btch.
Still awesome build, but I don't want such stuff on streets everywhere. Just check car accidents for each country, USA is in the leading positions, though India beating everyone XD.
Excellent video man, thanks for sharing bro
Nice video 👍
Your a genius. Great video
Nice work . What is this motor? Few questions that I have : did you try to take this off-road like the mountains that are seen when you ride ?
What are temperatures of motor and driver under heavy load Like steep uphill climbing ?
Did you think of making middrive off-road bike ?
in continuous uphill it getting hotter like 80°C .not shown in video i put small heat sink on the frame where the controller place.
Бол\ьшая Вам благодарность за классное видео пояснение !!!
What amazing tool are you using to "weld" these batt terminals together.?? Please tell me of this wonderful tool.!!
I must have one.!!
Awesome video BTW.!!!
flipsky spot welder
I wouldn't trust that rear shock, I would be looking for proper dirt bike rear suspension. The prep work before paint was pretty bad, sand it more.
Difference with a battery u used in the video and diff. Between s car battery or motorcycle battery?
too complicated. I can not understand your way my friend. u can do it much more easy and clear way. But I respect your effort.
Mas masarap yan kung double dynamo, pati harap meron. But seeing your video, one is more than enough.
Can you provide.more information in the battery build, what cells and where to buy as well?
even this doesn't look odd. Good work bro
Good job, great battery you made
Sir how much batteries need for making of this plz
Pause the video and count them.
Некоторые моменты вызывают вопросы,но в целом - хорошо. 👍
Well done... you are the best
Make a cheap smart Ebike, with tools, meters, Bluetooth device, bms & spot welders that cost 💲 probably more then the bike does 😂
The cost of everything there is around £1k you can only get Chinese trash 1000w at that price
didn't see any expensive tool anyware in this build, anyone with a small garage is expected to own a few tools gathered along the years
How much range does this have?
Amazing video..
Please customize the seat also.
what kind of seat?
@@albertnario4877 Can make the seat bigger like in Sur Ron Ebikes. I mean the saddle.
I am about to put a 1500w motor on a carrara hellcat lmt edition, Be buying the motor in the next 2 weeks, You couldnt tell me how much motor and controller was in English pounds by anychance, I just want to know what the price difference is here in the UK compared too where you are, You done a good job on the back swing arms, Tho aint it more economical to have a hard tail, The suspension on the back got work a tad bit harder so i read anyways, I am looking foward to having a new electric peice of transport to use, The law is coming on top with the electric scooter i have, So i get worried it will get taken off me, So had get bike stop the worry of being fined aswell....
You done a good job on that bike tho....

Sparks flying tonight ⚡️
Yeah, from his ring! Dude's going to get a nice shock one day if he keeps wearing a ring while working with battery packs
Hi, why did you make a replacement rear swing arm? Was the original one not strong enough or something?
I assume to accommodate for the wider wheel with the motor
Очередная ситуация когда есть прямые руки, но вкуса нет...
Я конечно из категории людей главное работает, но тут вы правы реально какая-то не красота.
Great! An electric human!
Very interesting, again.
Nice Nice! Top o video! pena que no Brasil muito caro litio.
Cool dude i build me one too. I love it.
Swap the brakes put for 4 piston brakes! This tiny stopper wont last long lol
If your controller is in the battery box, not a good place for it, as cooling is very important for the controller, heat is the worst thing for a controller, mosfets can only dissipate so much heat but if the controller has no air flow, it just gets real hot and loose efficiency so all your really doing is turning your battery power into heat.... Hyd. 4 piston caliper's for brakes will improve your stopping power and control, personally I use Shimano Saint calipers. 2 batteries, split your batteries into 2 units, incase of break down or failure, yes I know extra expense for another BMS and those Daly BMS are not cheap. Samsung 40T cells 21700 max of 35 amp discharge but only if using spacers for the cells. 2 wheel drive will rock your socks off ^^, silicone wire, I use 8g silicone wire for power harness and re-wiring the motor with Deans Noodle wire, 12g, you will see a HUGE increase in power, you might however have to use a dremel and carve out a bit bigger space in the wire channel. Mounting the controller on a seat post rack, is often the easiest way to ensure the controller get proper cooling.
frame it self is the heat sink for controller.. but you have nice idea
Impressive ideas @larry but i dont really think that 8awg is overkill for a meter long cable. 12awg you'll be fine at 41a up to 61amps and 81 for instantaneous.
100km ride with average 30km/h. That is quite impressive
Boss ano yung map animation na ginamit mo? Salamat 😁 galing at ganda ng gawa 👍
relive app..
How much it cost u?
Hello. Where can I buy a cheap spot welder? Can you share me the link for this one? Or how to choose a good spot welder for Lifepo4 batteries?
I already make DIY spot welder
1:46 вспоминаю о то как взрывался не очень большой и заряженный пакет аккумуляторов и мне страшно за автора. Это же реально взрывоопасная штука.
Do the batteries not need any cooling?
not much, it just almost use the 50% of capabilities of battery cell.
Most satisfying.. ☺️☺️
Bravo n1💪💪👋👏👏👏
Awesome 👌
Bruh this is a time bomb
You seem to be very adept at electronics, but the coachwork skills leave some to be desired. The frame needs to be durable, so cutting it apart and re-welding it is a major risk. In fact, you would likely be better off just cutting your own frame from a single sheet, than re-welding. Otherwise it's a nice concept.
Welding things back is good as long as you do it right. In fact, if you actually do it right it will be stronger than factory.
What cost u get in inr plz reply
This looks like it's gonna take me a long time to do
Why Bluetooth BMS? Government can turn it of anytime 😏
Wow nice work man
What is the weight of the bike?
The title should be "Make a cheap ebike with expensive tools"
Well then go buy an expensive Ebike and don’t have tools to make another. Grow up
With the emphasis on "Cheap", then not saying how much it cost??
It looks quite expensive with all of the electronic controllers and cells.
First view
Hi bro.... How much the battery cost... Pls tell
usd500
@@albertnario4877 Very nice build. But your battery cost has to be way more than $500 USD. I paused the video and counted approximately 156 type 21700 batteries. 500 / 156 = $3.21 per battery? From the prices I have seen on the 21700 cells that can't be right.
That was far nice.
Way extra work than necessary. You could have gotten larger batteries. It would have eliminated assembling all of those and been cleaner.
He just assembled parts available to him in the philippines
Id switch to lipos. They charge faster and have higher capacity
Wow nice, tht was a very far ride
Supar bor how much battery the
Please add voice to the video so that viewers can listen and be guided to build their own e-bikes...
I can't make voice over due to noise pollution in my place..
I thought one could add the voice after shooting the video...
От велика ничего не осталось. Мог бы просто из труб сварить раму
Where i can buy the motor?
If you use rechargeable batteries and add a port to recharge then you are set.
Nakaahon ba talaga sa Zigzag road yan?
How cn I ride one? I'm sr cit cn I avail one of ur invention? Pls
R u from Philippines? Can u make me one?
