Mannn I know how long this video probably took to make haha! Much respect! Good stuff for sure, some cards I forgot all about, and some I learned a lot about. Loved this Matt!
Excellent work, Matt! I think Savor should be in S Tier because the 3% back earnings are uncapped compared to the Custom Cash and because of the World Elite Mastercard benefits. This includes its own luxury hotels program. If you book a hotel outside the US with a Mastercard, you’ll want to avoid the foreign transaction fee. Savor and the Kroger Rewards cards have no foreign transaction fee and no annual fee. Quicksilver can come in either Visa or Mastercard, but I’d go for the Savor instead. The other World Elite Mastercards in this video have foreign transaction fees. Apple Card doesn’t offer World Elite Mastercard benefits.
The citi custom cash for gas, citi double cash back for all other expenses, and citi strata premier for groceries, restaurants and hotel is what i go with
Great video! Had to point out that the Costco Visa and the Verizon seem to have remarkably similar multipliers and no travel ecosystem but for some reason the Costco was ranked as C and Verizon as A. Curious as to why they were not ranked at the same tier or at least one level apart. They seem pretty much the same. Thoughts?
The same is true for Double Cash and Fidelity cards. In fact the more flexible card got a lower ranking. His system is arbitrary and contradictory--do your own research.
Thanks so much for the video. I’m in a 2 player setup with 3 BOFA Customized Cash Rewards cards and 1 BOFA Unlimited Cash Rewards card. We’re both Platinum Honors. Thanks for putting the Customized Cash in A tier, I think BOFA doesn’t get the exposure it deserves from many UA-cam channels.
Matt, Great list you put out. You missed a few cards from B of A like the unlimited cash rewards CC. Although it's 1.5 percent but with B of A honors it can be a lot more. Can you do a Business one with all the cash back cards and your rankings?
Definitely Fair. A lot of sneaky value with the Bank of America Rewards program. Yes- I can definitely add that video idea to my running list! Appreciate you watching Jeremy!
A list of 25 cash back cards ranked by benefits requires a lot of time and effort! Well done! Must give push back on "25 best" designation. IMO once your list gets beyond say 3 cards, it stops becoming a "best" list and becomes a list of a lot of cards that are ranked. Can there really be 25 "best" cards?
The Sam's club card from Synchrony is pretty good, 5% gas, 3% restaurants, up to 5% in club depending on member level and the redemption options are worlds better than the Costco card
I don’t understand why everyone hates on the Apple Card. I get it, no travel benefits. But almost everywhere excepts Apple Pay even online, and it comes with a savings account that wasn’t talked about in this video. It’s a perfect beginner credit card that visually shows you how much interest you will pay and basically helps you not accrue any interest month to month. Simple easy way to get 2% back. C tier card probably, but not D tier. Just my opinion
Yeah probably C tier. But it’s just an average card. Better than debit though, and daily cashback is pretty good. Oh and I think it having no SUB is what dings it a bit.
@ no SUB does hurt it, but for every credit card UA-camr to hate on it so much baffles me, probably considering a solid portion of people watching are new to the credit card space. It is a great beginner credit card option and teaches you how to use it and what your consequences will be if you don’t pay it off (interest wise), which every other credit card does not do they just show you your APR percentage. Also annoyed me he didn’t bring up the savings account but said there is nothing unique about the card which is completely false lol. But to each their own. I do have the Apple Card so you could say I’m biased but I’ve enjoyed it since the day I got it. Simple and easy with a competitive, free HYSA. I do see both sides to the argument though.
@@rabbitdubzzzyt Yeah for sure. Honestly this video has a ton of things wrong with it, some misinformation or outdated info. The tiers didn’t make any sense relative to the cards he talked about. Definitely expected better from Matt. This amount of mistakes needs a re-upload.
@@soapa4279 agreed. I do enjoy this channel and videos he does give a lot of great insight, examples, directions to take etc, but this one was not very good. SavorOne is an S tier no annual fee cash back credit card without a doubt, the custom cash is also an S tier card but how can you put that one there and not the SavorOne OR the freedom flex? Yeah you basically get to choose your 5% category every month, but it’s not better than those 2, also considering the SUB is 1500 worth of spend for 200 compared to 500 worth of spend for 200 with the other 2. Just doesn’t make sense to me
Fidelity card being b-tier while all the other 2% cards being c-tier makes no sense. Especially since this video was made prior to the global entry credit announcement. You can move any 2% cashback into a brokerage.
lol why say you're gonna rank the best credit cards for cash back, and then use access to transfer partners as a ranking factor?? small gripe, but great video overall!
I totally disagree about the Quicksilver card in a general sense it’s a good catch all card I have the excellent version and I love it it should at least be on the b tier in my opinion
Kinda disagree about the Quicksilver being a dumpster card. Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely bottom tier, but it’s entry level. It’s still an ok card to use internationally because of no FTF, relatively easy to get approved for, and is better than debit.

Thanks so much Anthony!! And yes haha this was definitely up there for the most amount of time that went into it 😂
I can’t get enough of “ watch me apply “ and ranking credit card tiers. Love it!!
Yessir! Appreciate you watching as always brother!
Fantastic content. Thanks so much for your insight Matt! You’re one of the best and most knowledgeable on credit card content!

Citi is my favorite ecosystem.
@@PolygraphZone absolutely. its super easy and convenient to use compared to the other trifectas/duos
The Citi Trifecta is awesome and highly underrated! Thanks for watching Salvador!

You can convert the WF Active Cash to points if you have their points card. So, that makes it a VERY strong card

Also wait, that’s a bit of misinformation. You can convert the AC 2%/X as long as you have an Autograph/AJ
The Sam's club card from Synchrony is pretty good, 5% gas, 3% restaurants, up to 5% in club depending on member level and the redemption options are worlds better than the Costco card
Ooo yeah good call out! Appreciate you watching!
Thanks for a Cash Back video! 👍
Thank you for watching!
Not really sure why the Chase Freedom Unlimited gets ranked better than the Citi Double Cash. I'd rather have 2% TYP than 1.5% URP.
numerous errors and contradictions in this video
