I agree, not a '70, perhaps a '75. Big bumper cars are not worth much and this one is NOT worth $50,000. Left rear quarter is severly rusted under the yellow paint.
A '70 has the same fascia as a Demon and only in '70. Of all the Darts in this body style the '70 is the most valuable and best looking. Why did Chrysler allow such an ugly front and rear to be produced after already having the best grill and tail they could've hoped for? Idiots!
If the owner wants $50,000 out of that car. I recommend he gets a taxi sign to put on the roof and get to work.. it’s a nice car but the only way it would be worth 50 grand is if it had been vacuum sealed straight out of the factory and had 0 miles
This is a Brazilian Dodge Dart, made and sold here. They were extremely expensive at the time and were produced in very limited quantities, so they really are worth that much here
There's a high demand for these cars here. Of course, they're worth much less in the country where they were produced in large numbers, like the US. To give you an idea, only 95,000 V8 Dodges were ever made in Brazil, and only about 6% of them are still around.
I detailed for a few seasons and it's hard work. But you take pride in it. It looks great. I wouldn't personally have used any shine sprays on the car but whatever the owner wants. I also would have stressed that the decals must be put back (As in new stock) on or not removed. They were part of the original package from what I remember about these cars.

I am dealing with a dirty car just like this, but not as old. It is a dark purple Nissan Cube that has been outside sitting under Douglas Furs for the past two years unprotected. I haven't been able to figure out how to get the roof clean after years of sap and oxidation.
You might try using instant boat hull cleaner, that contains plant based oxalic acid... I used Star Brite to remove 10 years of oxidation, stains and sap from my older chevy pickup... You can either use it straight wiping the finish down using a sponge or applying it with a sprayer as per instructions or dilute it with some water as it is a strong cleaner, rinse thoroughly. Other things to try are mineral spirits, kerosene, and hand sanitizer... WD-40 and Turpentine have also been used but these can damage the clear coat... If left long enough tree sap can damage the clear coat leaving a permanent stain or discoloration behind... The only way to fix this is to sand the clear coat/paint off and refinish it....hope this helps
@marcelots1995 being an exotic where it is there's always a chance. Hard to find here in the U.S. I had never seen one done like that one here. Too bad it is not a stick.
The LAW OF DIRT GRAVITY - years ago in the Multi-National Corporate World we were studying " Japanese Management Systems" ( about mid-90's when the Japanese were going to BUY AMERICA OUT ?) ! Part of it was Cleaning Production Equipment weekly and the FIRST THING we learned was to CLEAN FROM THE TOP DOWN ! The way you're doing it is getting more dirt and grime from the sides of the car splashing back on the UPPER PARTS making you have to clean those parts again (wasting time, $$, resourses) - LEARN and get it RIGHT THE FIRST TIME ? :-)
I like they painted over wheel weights ! They should have repaired the rust before painting rear quarts. Poor taping around door handles. TREMCLAD Yellow and TREMCLAD flat Black stripes. 1974 Dart Swinger about $2500 - $7000. I did like the top looked very good. This car has nothing rare about it looks like something a a young fellow put together from 4 or 5 cars does the numbers match the paper work????
That is not a 1970 it's a post 73 which is worth far less. It is not rare It's rusting. The floor has been patched and who knows what else. The paint is not original and was done wrong anyway. Many mixed parts from different cars. It was not abandoned. It's worth about $6,000 maybe $8k if you find another sucker.
This is a 74 Dodge Dart Swinger. Not even close to the original colour. The black accents are not original, either. There is nothing rare or much original about. $50,000 is Cloud Cuckoo Land. Maybe $10,000 the top end. This is NOT a 190 horsepower engine. The most powerful engine in a Dart in 74 wasthe 360 4bbl. It was rated at around the 170 horsepower mark in Canada, about 160 the USA. Also, Darts that came with factory dig dish hubcaps came with black, not body coloured wheels. The filler behind the front bumper is meant to be argent silver. The grill is also meant to be argent silver with chrome accents. The interior is the base interior for a Swinger. There were 3 levels of 2 door hardtop Darts in 74, 5 and 6. In ascending order they are Swinger Special, Swinger, and Special Edition. All you have here is a bastard version of rhe middle trim level. Someone was sold a pig in a poke. Your work was top notch. Your customer needed to do a lot more research before he or she wasted their money.
That Dodge Dart Swinger was all original; there in is the real high dollar value of the automobile. You devalued the car by removing the Swinger Strip badging. You would do this to polish the car? Polish the sides by hand. I assume the owner told you to remove the strips. He is out of his mind. That was stupid as the strips were in great shape and they make the car ORIGINAL! Take 5-10K off the value of the car.
This video should be called a recently flipper quality beak nose dart. (malaise year) The last Dart of major significance was a 70. 71 and 72 were decent looking but no performance models. After that it was all downhill. When they went to this tail end verses the earlier in bumper lights, they blew it on the styling. It probably hasn't been abandoned all from looks of it. Somebody would have stolen hubcaps from it for the right vintage of car. For 50k you could buy a whole flock of Beaknose darts, feathers and all.
Far from a 50K car. It's not a 70. My guess is 72, because that was the first year for those side marker lights, and 73 had bigger bumper guards. It's full of bondo, that is bubbling, so done wrong. Datrs never had that hood ornament, or trunk lock cover. Engine compartment, and trunk, should be body color. The engine is the wrong color, and has aftermarket intake, and headers. Missing the radio, and the heater, and controls. Wrong radiator. I don't think darts ever had the color matched wheels. Seeing the car up close, there are more than likely, a lot more discrepancies.
Pros, clean, nice condition, 2dht. Cons, no PS ,PB ,A/C. Quit looking like a fool and calling it something it is not. Paint the black yellow and find a cruiser who can live with headers. $15-18 depending on how healthy.
That video looks like that was in Mexico. That is probably a heap of sh!t. For example the ford f150 sold in USA is held to high standards. The “same” truck sold in Mexico badged as a ford logo is not held to any standards. No safety, no cats, leftover parts off many different models. Lmao
That's at least a 1974, it's not original. Mopar didn't paint the engine compartment or trunk black, they are always body color. Definitely an indicator the color has been changed. But none the less still a nice car but maybe worth about $12,000
Came out beautifully detailed. The car isn't an RT doesn't have a hemi ,but if you look up the vehicles specifications by the vin number ,it'll give you HP, torque, differential specs, and tranny... All the details..( which is the icing on the cake.) then go from there where you want to price it.
I used to have a 1970 Dodge Dart when I was a kid. but the color was light blue color , and dark blue interior, and dark blue or black vinyl top. can't actually remember the color of the roof. it ran really well. l ended up trading it in on another car. the car in the video doesn't quite look like mind. mind looks a little different than that. the hood on mind was different than the hood on that car. in the video. that must be more like a 1972 or 1973. and I never saw a yellow one before. I just looked up a 1973 Dodge Dart. and it looks identical like that. one in the video. and I saw a yellow one just like the one in this video.. so that's a 73, not a 70 , and they're certainly not gonna get $50,000 for that. bceause I certainly didn't get that type of money for my 1970 Dodge Dart..🤨
That is a 73 model. I have owned many darts in my long life. The Swinger was the "road runner"package for the dart. Cheap. Nonetheless, you have a nice example. I would like to see underneath it.
you guys did a very very nice job bringing this car back. but seriously $20000 or $25000 is what he's gonna get. Car still needs a lot of work to be in the $40000 range. I think I saw rust bubbling on left quarter panel. redo the stripping to original specs and a little more. missing a radio ... not a bucket seat car...but still a nice car. definitely not a ' 70
🤔 1970 has taillights in the rear bumper and flush mount turn signals. Good, grill and front bumper are flat . No apex in the center. 50k 🤣🤣🤣 Most it might sell for is around 10k.
That's SOMEBODY'S idea of a muscle car . I guarantee it was just a plain dart swinger until someone decided to do what ever that is to it. And what kind of cleaning products are you trying to sell? This is before I watch the video.
I'd like to know what this guy is smoking to your getting 50k out of a mid 70s dodge dart , maybe a 68/69 GTS 340 but this is a make your own Hot rod ,
Ok ok weather or not amercan dart or Brazilian division nice car ,but too many differences, 70, 74, parts trunk flat with no spare tire, hood ordiment is from 80s not 70s , unless this car had an frame off body resto there no way 50,000 is worth hidden rust besides it look like a swinger . Great job posting. Oh, never degrease after foam wash bad idea
This Dodge Dart in this video is not a 1970. it is 1973. those guys did a really good job detail on the vehicle, but taking off the stripes on the side of the vehicle doesn't make it a 1970.
$50000 usd, for a shiny dart , with no proof of it running, good luck with that, but saying that you guys done a good job of making it look presentable 👍🇦🇺
Unless it was left on a public street or on a hwy, it's NOT abandoned. Rare doesn't mean cool. When I went to school for auto body, I was taught to do the inside first, remove the front seats and door jams then wash the outside including taking the tires off for cleaning
Owner will be lucky to get $15k for it. You go to such lengths to detail every inch of the car but didn’t take the hub caps off to clean the entire wheel. JMHO
There's nothing on that car that's original or factory. That thing is a hodge podge of different parts from different years. That thing is worth maybe 3- 4,000 tops it's a shit box.

50 mil pa eso… dejar de fumar criko por favor.
Wow 50k for a car with no headlight or WW switches and no radio keep dreaming
Weight saving car.
Not worth 50k. He may get good money for it based on the good condition it is in, but not 50 large. Are you here in the U.S.?
English is good, very
@marcelots1995 being an exotic where it is there's always a chance.
Hard to find here in the U.S. I had never seen one done like that one here. Too bad it is not a stick.
It's a Bondo bucket. Quarters are bubbling bad.
Why would you take the stripe off 🤪
@Percepcar USA 🇺🇸 Good car washing video, may I know if it's ok for you to review our foam cannon S V3.0?Thanks in advance!☺
Good job, fellas. Keep up the good work!!
Thank you!
You keep washing it the paint will come off it’s still ugly I give it a 2 I wouldn’t buy it for 5000 dollars a lot more nicer mopars for 50 thou
Nice car but ain't worth $50k I wouldn't pay it don't care if I was rich u can buy a Chevelle ss at maple motors cheaper than that
5 Grand at the most would need to see how much rot is underneath before making an offer., your work is outstanding by the way.
That is not a 1970 it's a post 73 which is worth far less.
It is not rare
It's rusting.
I think I saw rust bubbling on left quarter panel. redo the stripping to original specs and a little more. missing a radio ... not a bucket seat car...but still a nice car. definitely not a ' 70
$ you wont even get $5000 let alone $ 50,000 lol who you clowning!!! and that car isnt even a muscle car ! GET OFF THE DRUGS!!!!
🤔 1970 has taillights in the rear bumper and flush mount turn signals. Good, grill and front bumper are flat . No apex in the center.
50k 🤣🤣🤣
Most it might sell for is around 10k.
That's SOMEBODY'S idea of a muscle car . I guarantee it was just a plain dart swinger until someone decided to do what ever that is to it. And what kind of cleaning products are you trying to sell? This is before I watch the video.
My brother has a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger and it's completely different?? His is a 340. Is this outside of the US?
That's a 73 or newer, I have a Mr. Norms 72 Dart and it's not anything like that one and although rare it as well isn't worth 50k
Nice piece but not that desirable. For 50,000k,l could buy two nicer cars!
JMHO
Man, what happens to the black stripes that were going down the side of it.They never took them off.Now you'll never get $50,000 out of that thing
There's nothing on that car that's original or factory. That thing is a hodge podge of different parts from different years. That thing is worth maybe 3- 4,000 tops it's a shit box.
It's a 79 brazilian Dart. The right name is Le Baron. This car was dressed like a american' 73/4 Dart by the old owner
It will never be worth $50,000 especially with all that rust on the bottom of the quarters but you guys did an awesome job.
Its a 73. Its not rare its not original. Its junk. Nothing about the car is valuable. As a matter of fact i could drop a giant shit on the hood and it wouldn't be worth any less. Get a clue 😂
