I live here, in the "Live Free or Die" State of New Hampshire. Same city as Tim's shop, just across the bridge from me. Picked up my first ounce from Tim 10+yrs ago. One time I went somewhere else and learned early on why far and wide, everybody goes to Tim. Honesty is the best policy and I recognize it when I see it. A friend of mine, a retired cattle farmer, told me how in the 50s, they were cutting French gold coin in half to barter... pigs. Sad for the coins, but these were hard time post WW2. We are headed to hard times too.
I am a treasure hunter and of course like digging gold and silver, but am really hunting for historic pieces and love the exercise it provides! I believe if we go to a barter system, silver bullion is priced for daily trades, whereas gold has too much value for most daily barter..good luck🍀
I BEEN TREASURE HUNTING ON THE GOLD COAST OF FLORIDA SINCE 1965. I HAVE FOUND GOLD AND SILVER DABLOONS SPAINISH PIECES OF EIGHT. GOLD STRING CHAIN GOLD BARS AND SO MUCH. MOST I FIND IN 3' TO 10' OF WATER JUST OFF THE WILDERNESS BEACHES.
Stay within your budget is the key. Not just in gold and silver, but food, water, brass, liquor etc. It's about having things to barter with.
MUCH easier said than done with the last couple of years’ inflation on EVERYTHING!
Agree...skills as well, mechanical, gardening, woodworking/construction, shooting/self defense, survival...etc etc
We can practice these things now already. Just the other day I gave away homemade vinegar. And then I received coffee beans. People don't just want to take normally, they want to give out something as well. So we start from here. But if we are generous first, other things might come back . Not necessarily from the same person, in God's kingdom it works a bit differently. We trust in him and share what we can. and receive what you get. In case you don't need it think of someone who might have use of it. Then share it, and things come back.....my experience
@@swissherbgirl2917 Homemade stuff is the best. Corporate food is poison...designed to make profits for that company and make us sick for the medical industrial complex so they can make money off our sickness and suffering. IE Tyson Foods.

Are him and your mother still together? I bought 1000 oz of silver and 10 oz of gold years ago and it was the bane of my marriage. Love my wife to death but most women love in lala land and couldn't see the future of it smacked them in the face

I think of 5k gold and really its still way too low. I can see myself still buying. Look at the economy. I'm not talking to anyone that is living better. It's all negative.
Imagine the price of PMs when CBDC and restrictions on what can be purchased, when CBDC is forced on the populace who sets the price then?
Did you not hear Tim warn about the money men shorting it? Wouldn’t buy much atm.
My concern would be how to determine what your oz. of silver is worth. My guess that if we ever get to a barter economy the internet will not be working. Who is going to determine what an oz. of silver is worth. Best case is you visit a farmers market where there are multiple farmers selling produce. Go to each with a shopping list and find out what each wants for that much produce. It will still be supply and demand.
When Tim talks, people listen.

besides rand paul and thomas massey, i dont trust any of them. on barter economy , if i am selling beef by the quarter and teh average cost is $650. based off of spot today $26.88. that would be 24.18 ounces you owe me of silver. if metal inflate, i'm inflating. in gold you would owe me a 1/4 oz maple and some change. maybe i let you pound a few fence post, for pasture. plus about $200 for your share of butchering. that would be about 7-8 oz silver

Utter Chaos would be a good name for a farm comedy
Only ever worked in one unionized company and did so for 10 years. It was Pe Ben and our union was Teamsters. I DO NOT consider union workers hard-workers. They protect poor employees.
We're in a kind of super-cycle. It's a cycle that has repeated, in one way or another, since the beginning of recorded history. Good times make weak men. Weak men make bad times (we are here). Bad times make strong men. Strong men make good times. Rinse; repeat.
Worked in HR for a union shop for a little over a year. Worst year of my life. There are some hard workers, but they are not the majority. Never heard so many grown men cry about the pettiest things. Want to fire a crappy worker, good luck!
Not all federal workers are bad. Some are even stackers. 😉

Silver was 29 dollars 6 days ago. It's at 26.50 ish this morning...when silver was 29 eagles were 33 dollars...today silver is at 26.50 and eagles are at 33..does it take awhile for premiums to catch market price for stock they bought previously to come down? ..I Hate premiums...it's the worst part of stacking for me.
The premium is there because of the demand,of demand was low the premium wouldn't be added.
@@AnnetteCurtain-tc4mh I don't disagree...the problem is ..silver value has dropped and and premiums remain..if the value has dropped there must be a correction to demand and so as well the premiums..I just don't see the value correction
@goldsilverbroke78 it's called profiteering while the goings good,I can remember looking at silver coins on ebay in 2012 when silver 12 pounds I'm in England, and most coins were going untouched, because silver was then a waste of money,now its in the spotlight.

I had 1000 ozs in 2015 and had to sell it all for house renovations. I can say without a shred of doubt that the "junk silver" was the easiest thing for me to sell and recoup my money back. Im wanting to get back into to stacking and of I do, I will buy exclusively junk silver or generic rounds closest to spot. Maples and eagles you will always lose money on assuming spot hasn't shot way up.
The US Mint has ceased production of the nickel and the dime..temporarily or permanently time will tell…

Remember why the gold to silver ratio was in 1910 or 1930 was standard 20 to 1 ratio it took 20 silver one dollar coins to buy one 20 dollar gold coin. It took 2 half half dollar silver coins to equal the same amount of silver in a one dollar silver coin. It took 4 silver quarters to equal one silver dollar in 90 percent silver weight purity and 10 silver dimes to equal one silver dollar. So back then the standard gold to silver ratio was 20: to 1: ratio. Took 20 silver dollar to buy one 20 dollar gold coin. From 1800s early 1900s. This was always the true real values between silver n gold ratio. So if you compare it to today's gold to silver ratio and want to find out the true real value of silver alway divide the price of gold to silver by 20. So if gold is selling at $2300 ÷ 20 = $115 dollar per oz. Of silver real true value not the current manipulated undervalued silver price at $26.50 per oz. But every since the money controller's deliberately crashed the stock markets in 1929 and forced every common person to turn in the gold n silver by government creating new law by confiscating everyone's gold n silver. Once they had it all they changed the gold to silver ratio making it to expensive for the common person to buy gold just like today nit many people can afford it. Government doesn't like you to own it gold or silver that's why they took silver coins out of circulation in 1965 and after. Giving everyone paper dollar that realistically have no value compared to gold or silver like back in the day's of silver coin dollars or 20 dollar gold coins. Back in the 50s and 60s dollars were printed with silver certificates on the meaning they actually had a value like a 5 dollar bill silver certificate could be turned into state banks for 5 dollars worth of silver. And other dollar bills aswell. But they took that away too. In 1965 They don't want you to own silver or gold. Just worthless papers or paper stock portfolio's. When the shit hits the fan and the us government economics on over printed dollars collapses you will really see how unvalueabke your paper is worth and silver n gold will really show there true value real money as it always was for thousands of year's
