I just got back from a trip to France for the first time. We stayed part of our trip in Marseille. I'm surprised by it's reputation. It's such a beautiful city with so much to offer. I never once felt unsafe walking around there day or night.

I can say that even Morocco makes me feel safer than the city. Expensive for nothing. You will be in danger if you’re poor. And my muslim friend who lives in there told me she never go out night. You need to be tough in street.
