Agree, but the one that amused me the most was a recent one where she did the hair flick and point “it’s Faye” and forgot the shirt she was wearing had no name on....

When cutting with a razor like that always remember what they taught us in the Army, "Cut towards your buddy not your body!" I installed a set of struts on my teenage daughters Jeep to make it easier for her to raise the hood and check her oil and other fluids herself, she loves them! Great work Faye!!

Faye, watched your video and installed some hood struts on my 2000 Ford Ranger. Learned so much from your video! They were redline struts but worked super great. Your easy going and simple installation on your Toyota made it easy for me to just repeat the same on my 2000 Ford Ranger. No more props indeed.. Your personnel touch to these videos make so cool to learn.

Great video Faye. Thanks for letting us know about Spiker, I will check them out. I’ve installed struts from another company called Redline Tuning (redlinetuning.com) in 5 of my cars. 4 of them were specifically made for the cars they were installed on but the one car I had to cobble together the parts and made my own setup that worked great. If anyone is looking for a kit and Spiker doesn’t list their car, check out RedlineTuning. I’ve found Redline Tuning to be high quality parts very similar to that Spiker kit. This is a great mod and easy to do.
One thing I will add is, some kits install differently. Instead of the bottom bracket being near the firewall, it’s located halfway between the firewall and the radiator support. Then the upper bracket actually attaches to the hood hinge using one of the hood mounting bolts so there is no drilling the hood for rivets. Hope that helps somebody. Happy Motoring!

@6:48 My experience is that there is no such thing as too much feed pressure on a hand held drill motor unless the bit is less than 1/8 inch diameter. If your bits get dull at the point try a slower motor speed with more feed pressure (like a drill press). If I can't see any chips I know I'm not pushing hard enough. That depth stop is the best idea I've seen all week! I'd be poking holes in the front tire...
