I remember something similar during a lesson you had with Dan Whitaker, a more upright shaft, using the bounce, with the additional feature of taking the club a little to the outside during the takeaway.

Regarding the "maintain the pivot", Pete has played with a pro who dropped the lead foot back and opened it up a little to encourage that hip turn through the ball on chip shots.
i need to get out to the practice facility asap.
May add the Jumbo grips to my wedges. I’ve always struggled with wedges since the grips seem too small for the shots.
i'm amazingly good at this shot. i'm terrable at the 70 yard low spinner shot he showed pete before this one
