Fault in the Engine Control!! BMW 750GS 2021 Anniversary Edition

So, my BMW 750GS 2021... I talk through this 'Error' message which came up during a recent ride. It stated: Fault in the engine control. Onward journey possible, ride carefully to next specialist workshop.
Dairy of events which I will update for future viewers:
13th Nov 2021 - I had been riding for about 3 hours and stopped to fill up the tank. Normal on-road riding, long straights and twisty mountain roads, climate probably around 24 degrees Celsius (approx 78F). Not too crazy, as it was a 2-up ride with my wife. So very sensible riding. Engine started up again fine after filling-up, but then had the message straight away. Mild panic, given the distance away from home. I had another 60KM to my destination, so rode there (description of that very slow ride in the video) - Upon arrival I called my insurance to arrange collection back to my home city. I won't bore you with that story.
18th Nov 2021 - BMW confirmed that the problem was the throttle and it needed replacing. As described in the video, they stated it needed to be ordered and would take 30 to 45 days to arrive. Apparently no-one thought to keep a few on-hand in the workshop. You'd think BMW would keep a few of everything to make sure no client suffers. You'd think!

Post- video updates:
18th Nov 2021. (Later the same day after publishing the video.) The dealers called to confirm I could have a courtesy bike. Just went to collect. They said they have asked for an 'urgent' delivery on the new throttle unit, and could be as soon as 7 days now. Stay tuned...!
8th Dec 2021. The bike will be ready for collection tomorrow. I will try and get some more information as to the possible cause of the problem and no doubt mention it in my next video. So, 3 weeks... a bit of a drag, but at least they can in under par from their original estimate of 4 to 6 weeks. Always focus on the good!
