Connie and Anna are two incredibly beautiful human souls. I'm also impressed with the fact that Anna gave the gift of life to 50 different people. It's just amazing. I applaud the families of both woman. This could very well be the best possible outcome for two devastating stories. I wish everyone involved in this story the utmost happiness and peace.

I grew up with the Kaspers. They are my aunts husbands family and they are all such sweet, caring people. Anna was definitely a sweet woman and was shocked when i heard about this. Its amazing how far the transplant has come!

Right on!! I think we should have a federal law making us presumptive donors. If you have any issues with donating organs you can opt out at any time. This would alleviate most of the donor shortages. Why not? At least these life saving organs would not be wasted bc people don't know or they procrastinate or lose their donor cards.

Connie sadly passed away on July 29, 2020. She died of complications from an infection that was unrelated to her transplant.
