Connie was one of My mothers best friends, I remember when this happened very clearly. My mom loved Connie so much and I wish that she could have seen her with her new face but My mom passed in 2008. Those of you that are sitting here wondering why she still loves him well because they was together forever its not just something she could turn off. You have to accept what’s happened to you to live a happy life, and you have to adapt to your new situation in order to move on, to not be stuck in that terrible moment forever. But forgiving a person who repeatedly abused you, who fully intended to kill you, who maimed and mutilated you, that’s battered women syndrome and it never ends well. You can be happy with your life, but to tell a man who tried his best to destroy you that you still love and forgive him is truly messed up. Move on, be relieved he’s in jail and never waste another moment of your life on him ever again. her face transplant would have looked more normal if they had transplanted full jaw but as she still has her own jawline and own teeth, not a donor's jawline and teeth, it looks like an in between fitting over her jaw. it looks unnatural but I guess she didn't want to have her own jaw removed if it was still in tact. but had she got the whole jaw transplant, she would have looked much better post surgery
It's not done yet. They're gonna take the extra off. It'll probably look normal enough for people to make eye contact without involuntarily giving her sympathetic eyes.

I would be more accepting of her forgiveness and love for the man who did this to her if she was not still protecting him. If she were able to tell the story, warts and all, i would believe it was real and no longer driven by fear.
her face transplant would have looked more normal if they had transplanted full jaw but as she still has her own jawline and own teeth, not a donor's jawline and teeth, it looks like an in between fitting over her jaw. it looks unnatural but I guess she didn't want to have her own jaw removed if it was still in tact. but had she got the whole jaw transplant, she would have looked much better post surgery
I followed another person and she will get much better.
It's not done yet.
They're gonna take the extra off. It'll probably look normal enough for people to make eye contact without involuntarily giving her sympathetic eyes.

There's probably great difficulty in getting someone else's jaw to fit where your perfectly ok jaw used to go.

As for ethics, they had to ask what more did she have to loose? She had no life before the surgery and if it didn’t get good results then her life would not change but, if something improved, she got a new chance at life.
a lot of people in society do not understand why or how, could a women say they still love their abuser??, well- its a variety of reasons- women that get into disfunctional relationships usually have some abuse or traumas in their lives b4 they're with a man thats abusive- - these men know which women will allow the abuser to abuse them- and which women will not allow a man to abuse them.its not because these women are stupid either- its because for whatever reason- they believe they're not good enough for a loving healthy relationship and only people whom have suffered abuse will ever understand that! Also, most women- settle for whoever is around at the time- because these same women have abandonment issues as well. it took me til my 40's- to figure that out! !! And you can't learn that from a book- it comes from life experience and wisdom!😊and please don't believe that they will change because once an abuser- ALWAYS an abuser! !!!
