These transplants just keeping better and better. Heartfelt thanks to all the donors and to the physicians and teams that have perfected their skills again and again.
Pj Kneisel I concur. I’m an organ donor, but still.. I can’t stand the thought of doctors wanting to plaster my dead face onto someone else’s body. The thought disturbs me to no end.
I feel like I would have nightmares. Nightmares of the person with a new face, kinda resembles the Texas chainsaw massacre type face mask, or I’d think about how my S.O. would be looking with their face removed. God I’m fucked in the head hahaha. Also, I don’t mean she looks like Texas chainsaw I’m just saying his mask was freaky and made from another humans face.
She looks so good!!!! I love her profile she looks so gorgeous from the side!!! :) i mean in general but especially the nose looks so good and the chin... she doesnt look like she is "wearing" another persons face Im so glad and thankful she did survive this horrible attack! Thank you to the doners! :) Thank you to the doctors! :) And thanks Conny for fighting! :) And thanks to Connys daughter (i think she has one)! :)
I wish I could be an organ donor, but I can’t due to a genetic, connective tissue disorder. It’s considered “rare,” but it’s actually highly under-diagnosed and frequently misdiagnosed. So I’m considering donating my body to research after I die, so I can do something to help others since I can’t be an organ donor.
Nothing wrong at all that a man cries. To be honest, as a woman, I find that men who cry are usually the most protective, strong, and compassionate men you can find. I’ve seen my husband cry for others. That’s exactly why I married him. He is strong, and kind, and has a protective instinct that extends to everyone. 🌹

The daughter didn’t seem to want to make eye contact 😔 She looked uncomfortable
Wow, that has to be the Hardest thing to do, the donors family meeting the recipient! The expression on the daughter's face said it All!
this restores my faith in human nature
how are you ten years later bro
God Bless both families
What an incredible donation.
If there was a box to check of worthy recipient, this woman would certainly qualify.
i cannot imagine seeing the face of someone i loved on somebody else...it's a wonderful thing to offer but...meeting them??
Pj Kneisel because of the different bone structure underneath the face may have some resemblance, but will look quite different.

I’m crying here, and I’m a man.

I meant, cry at the drop of a hat.
ABC, too much buildup for a 10 second reunion shot at the end. Perhaps they just wanted that moment to be private
Amazing ♡♡♡
i agree, i don't think i'd want to meet them either... not for a face transplant, anything else, yes, but not their face...
God bless 🙌🙏
R.i.p Connie❤️
This is so strange dt how faces lasts till death in our memories
Glad she is doing good
Wow that poor girl. Looks 👍
Id be too weirded out..could not take seeing that..omg.
Why are the face transplants always big?
1:32 the doll in the back looks exactly like the original annabelle
it’s a raggedy anne doll they were p popular a few decades ago i fink
she passed away 🥺
These transplants are amazing, I just can't help thinking that science has supposedly come so far. Can't they actually do a better job of this?
That’s gotta be so hard
Is she still alive?
no, sadly she passed away july last year because of an infection unrelated to her transplants 🥺
she was 57 years old
no
Sorry just creepy but i guess it's ones personal choice ☺️
🙄🤨🥊🚾
Freaky
She does not look like her mother even tho that's her mom face
I don't agree with being a donor...but donating a kidney is much more understandable than a face....that's just ridiculous and very disrespectful
