I honestly just scrolled through your playlists to find a good basic video about Ae, got a bit sad about not finding what I was looking for, and BOOM! You just uploaded this Video! Great work, Peter! Love your content!
If you master tracking and masking(or rotoscoping), the amount of VFX you can do is endless! when I help people learn after effects this is one of the first things I teach them. Great Vid!
5 seconds in and I'm already hooked... I AM at the point where I want to stop and give up ... I'm so close I can feel it, but have no idea where to go to fix the little glitches... glad you felt this way too. :)
Sometimes you watch these videos and think you know what the tutorial is teaching you already... but then they say one thing that makes it worth it.... Don't have the motion blur on the entire time to save efficiency and not make your computer explode. Little hints like that go a long way! Thanks Peter! Keep it up!
NICE! Peter - you should definitely do a series on coffee - you know about the equipment you use and tutorials on how to make a great coffee wether it be pour over, espresso, cappuccino, the different grinds etc. There goes a lot of stuff into coffee-making and I bet there's a lot of your viewers that would really dig a series on that subject! Keep up your awesome work!
Watching on my MacBook and simultaneously, right on cue with Peter's "Pause" my phone made an unusual alert sound. I thought it was the end of the world for like a quarter of a second and then my brain caught up with reality and now I feel a little dumb but that feeling is being superseded by a glad heart because Peter is doing a tutorial. I love your vlogs Peter, but your tutorials are what drew me in the first place and keep me coming back for more.
Back to PMcK tutorials - love it. Love where you find yourself now, but love even more that you remember how you got here, helping out your community. 👍👍❤️
Appreciate your tutorials. Missing some details that others have but most of those are 1 hr or more and are hard to even sit through. Appreciate a really concise explanation and tutorial.
One of my favorite things about Peter is that 1) he is so entertaining. 2) He reads the comments and listens to his audience. Good Job Peter! Thank you for being so great.

Hey Peter, thank you for the tutorials. I've been following you since the very early days. Like, GoPro Taped To Your Foot, early days. Anyways, I appreciate the content (vlogs and tutorials). I especially appreciate what you said at 6:20. You have a teachers heart. I don't mean to be all gushy. I just wanted to send some love and tell you thank you!
Thanks for the great overview series on After Effects -- exactly what I needed right now. Re about vs aboot... I grew up in Canada (spent 40 yrs) and was teased by my new in-laws when I ended up in California nearly 14 yrs ago. I never heard the difference before, either. But aboot nine yrs ago, though, I started to hear the difference in my Canadian friends' voices (over phone, Skype, Zoom). There is a mild difference. Note: East Coast Americans often also say "about" in a similar way, a bit more stretched out.
Your tutorials never sound like a tutorial, they're like genuine representation of "How to become a legend" that's why I call you "The God Of Digital Art". Because Lord Pete knows how to nail it! AWESOME!!!!
Great video - appreciate the encouraging words throughout too! I've been putting off sharpening my video/editing skills for a while now. It's time to cut that out. I'll be keeping up better from now on so I can keep at it!

These tutorials are amazing! I never understood tracking during my AE lessons and I gave up. Now I want to learn again and this makes it so much easier. Thanks!

And, I totally agree on what he said, It's a lot to grasp at first and easy to says "It's something I can't handle". That part itself made me feel comfortable and take thing a bit in a relaxed way.
