    Perhaps, the most advanced snowblower! Never heard of these guys but it seems like they have one upped everyone who makes a standard snowblower. Just the ability to cleanly backdrag is a game changer.

    I've never bought a snowblower for my equipment because of the inability to scrape to the surface. This solves the scraping & backdragging issues for sure - well done.

    That’s gotta be the best blower for a skid steer and it’s made by a father and son in the US. Can’t get any better than that.

    We got one of these this winter, fantastic machine! Whoever they used as a shipper was garbage (it was someone other than Muskox), but it was worth the headaches. We've had a couple of minor hiccups (mostly operator error) and the folks at Muskox have gone above and beyond to take care of us! Can't say enough good things so far about the attachment and the company!

    Having more fins on the impeller helps clear the snow through the chute faster and more efficiently. My push snow blower got wrecked last year, so when I rebuilt the impeller I made it w/4 fins. Now I can clear the same amount of snow with less load on the machine and it also throws farther.

      It's a really nice machine but I'm not sold on the three stage. Three stage might be more versatile but less power for the blower, more moving parts and higher maintenance.

  • @billvandorn5332
    @billvandorn5332 Рік тому +3

    Most impressive, I love the track system Incorporated and would love to see what it would entail to remove and replace!
    The snow blower is almost orgasmic and what I like about the blower's is A, you got to place the snow where you want it and B, you're not incurring more wear and tear pushing the snow a second time.
    I think the downside might be the slower speeds compared to plows.
    Property damage and liability is definitely mitigated with this machine!
    Thanks bunches Stan, go get them and God bless, abundantly

    I will say, when we have deep snow, a normal blower can’t get right up to the garage door, which can leave a fair amount of shoveling leftover. With the back drag feature, this unit would save some effort.

    Good to see some people from the Mentor area making it. When you live up here plowing isn’t a good option. When the wind blows you get socked in, blowing gives you a fighting chance to make it into March. Then the sun can melt it away.

  • @arnoldschmidt2753
    @arnoldschmidt2753 8 місяців тому

    Extremely well designed but a little slow to cut through all that heavy packed ice bound snow . I'm wondering whether the engine output limits the blowers performance.
    The ASV RX75 engine output might be the operating cieling envelope.
    If the output was increased by 25% ,would the blower's performance also increase?

      @platinumlawnservice Рік тому

      I did feel it bogged down quite a bit and is weird sounding. None of the tractor mounted shaft/chain drive blowers ive run have sounded like that. Im assuming that ASV has about the highest flow you can get hydro wise too. With the tractor you just up the RPM slow down a bid and keep on chugging. Seems like it almost stopped the blower dead on that thing. I was looking at a used skid blower for next year but im unsure after seeing this. Can anyone clear this up for me?

    Stan's reaction to it not having sheer pins was great. He was holding back a "are you fucking serious?" I feel like I'd be the one to break the hydraulic clutch feature. With a sheer pin, I just pop a new one in. This clutch thing breaks, it's weeks in a shop, expecting since there's only 400 out there being used so your local guy won't have these parts sitting around. If he can even fix the thing.

    • @Dirtmonkey
      @Dirtmonkey  Рік тому +6

      I was actually glad their weren’t sheer pins cause I think the hydraulic clutch is a much sturdier option. I also feel like it’s too soon to jump to conclusions about parts availability. I’ll keep you updated and informed as I use it, but I already put 40 hours cutting solid ice banks with this machine…that video will be out soon! The performance was kinda nuts.

    Market this thing to the folk in the Sierra Nevada’s and Utah mountains. If their winter next year, is as bad as it has been this year, that would b a good test.
