You can get more tax benefits and less loss. But you also don’t own the equipment, so less equity. Since it’s for a business, a lease can be written off way more than a loan can be. So you don’t own it but you also don’t “pay” for it. If at the end of the lease you like this equipment, you can buy it for the price - cost of leasing. Or not. If it’s a pile of junk, you’re not stuck with the rest of the cost, only what you paid.
When leasing doesn’t count as money owed as a loan yes there is many leasing options as Stan said from lower lease payments higher buy out end of lease to dollar buy outs all depends upon how you are using machine loading salt lease get rid of it at end of term
I’m sure as having to be tier 4 engine has some type of emissions such as a regeneration system with a cat or some sort on it especially coming from Europe libs over there think cows and growing rice and farming cause to much on the carbon footprint
Greetings to you D-M, I believe you are a gift to all who seeks to embark on snow removal as a business, with that being said I noticed in this video you have confirmed how you have taken steps to try most equipment for our benefit as viewers and it brings me to make this request I have not seen you try the SNO-WAY ploughs and I would love to see you putting to the test even one of these ploughs (preferably the V plough)
Would definitely like to hear your ideas on leasing vs buying. Also wondering, since you’re buying(leasing) new equipment to test out, why wouldn’t you switch to a more winter rated tire since the majority of your work would be in the winter? Or does it balance out?
Nice unit. We looked at these for our little city as well. We ended up going with a John Deere 324L little loader. Built by Liebehr. Has rear wheel steering as well. Can turn around on itself in like a 10 ft circle. Controls similar to this. Have a 15 ft HLA we bought for it as well. Might be something to look at as well. 74 hp Yanmar. No def. High lift option, rear wheel steer. Amazing snow machine
@@shanelewis3564 that’s awesome ! Thanks for the response got a couple skid steers thinking about going mini loader next year but got to get something that don’t need a cdl
Stan go buy you some 3 ft or 4 ft Chainz put a hook on one in you have four points you can hook with and it will change your life from having to drag out those long chains everytime. Hook your binder straight to the trailer your chain to your machine tighten down you cannot get a machine more secure
RIP to Lucy! She’s off with all of our dogs who we’ve lost, I’m sure she’s chasing all the deer she wants and is barking up a storm. Sorry to hear that Stan😢
My 910 Cat has what your calling pilot controls everything on the stick is the way to go 👍🏻 Triangle snow tires are the best bang for the buck absolutely love my Triangles! 🙏 I’m praying your right about Feb and March being heavy snow months we have only had like 5 inches all season as well.
Oh Lucy, great dog! Great buddy in tons of videos. Your dogs live a blessed life, dogs love riding in trucks with their dad. Sorry for your loss brother, you gave her a great life. Who is the new black doggo?
Ive only used 906, 908, 926 cat wheel loaders. They have all those "pilot" controls. Parts are easy to come by, and are generally a great machine. Looks like a pretty solid machine tho.
Hi stan, I'd absolutely love to hear the pros, cons and etc of leasing. I've got a small, start up, tree and property service here in ontario canada. I'm on the fence on whether or not i should buy a compound tractor with an all season setup, but the price and when i should or shouldn't bite the bullet is what's got me nervous about signing that piece of paper. I know i will make money with it but if i could know if there's a good and bad way to own said piece of equipment and/or others. I feel this would be a great topic to touch on as there's thousands of people that are in the same predicament, look forwards to this possible future video, good luck and have a good one!😁
They have them on almost all machines in western australia stan as well have a lot of mining, I see so many cars, pickups, semi’s that don’t have battery isolators and get flat batteries alot, another thing with western australian mining we have battery isolators and starter motor isolators so if a mechanic or auto electrician can isolate the starter motor and still work on electrical faults without worrying about someone starting the engine if your working in the engine bay or underneath the vehicle, I have them on my semi and pickup truck to save the batteries 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Looks like Mecalak and Volvo are working together. That loader looks much like an old LS20 I used to own. Is that a 6 or 7’ wide machine? I recommend you try out a Deere 324 compact Loader. I predict you’ll discover the actual ultimate compact loader. The “stereo steering makes it unbeatable. Sorry to hear about Lucy!
Love my diamond c trailer but for the cost don’t ya think they coulda put the battery and hydraulic pump on the other side of the tongue chain box ?? Obviously not operator designed just saying but love the trailer !!!
You’d be correct about truck side for that plow. But I do believe after see the video down at the plant for ARCTIC not sure if it was Blake or his Brother that stated or showed a set up and skid plate mount to be able to be set up on a skid or loader being is should all be hydraulic not electric . The only reason for the 14 pin connect is to supply the electric to operate the hydro pump to make every thing move up-down-left-right being the truck does not have a designated hydro tank unlike the skid or loader having everything run on hydro all ready don’t shoot me I believe I’m correct 😂😂
Hey Stan you should check out a takeutchi vs the Kubota. I run both for work and like the Kubota 97-2 but the tl12r2 is my favorite skid steer I have ever ran. It just runs so smooth and the controls are so precise
@@jackofall2305 That’s exactly what I used it for 3 seasons. This is my first year with a cab and I still wore them and I didn’t get too hot. They are great. Now need lighter duty boots. Don’t need no big clunky -80 degree boots.
I do remember Lucy...she was running off on ya in the city....you let her run free when you went to camp...she lived a great life you shouldn't be sad but happy for all the joy she brought...she did her job well
Apparently you've never plowed in a cat 906h2 diff lock standard. NW Indiana We have 2 for plowing. Just got 30 inches off the lake. You need to try JCB TM320 is an articulated telehandler with a lifting capacity of 6,390 lbs and a reaching capability of 17 ft 1 in. It is powered by a 125 hp JCB EcoMAX engine. Same engine is a skid steer just modified I personally operate it I'm 7 foot tall. I can stack it high with the extendable boom. Less snow I have to haul out.
They company I work for just bought me a xcmg 948 u 3 yrd bucket they a new company here in USA but loader been nice so far dealer had come do some tuning for the controls but they flew a rep right up to us they go out there way to help and I like the loader it a power house you should give them a try
Dirt monkey Stan I’m back still no transfer tank highly recommend the tank box combo from rds for the trailer or truck of your choice and love the ax 1000 loader told my boss we need a loader that uses bobcat attachments

Looks like a little nickname you forgot to put your Flashlight gonna leave it just that single travel. Or are you gonna put a fancy or lying on it? Can't wait to see the videos of it worth it. And yeah that lease advantage video would be cool too
i have a question / i only ever plowed in a ag tractor with a bucket but i know steering can be a pain and i wanted to ask how is a backhoe when plowing snow ? like is the steering not real good as well ? and if u could only have 1 what would u pick a TLB or SKID STEER ? some say backhoes are bad and there not good for snow plowing but some say the extra wight is nice / mind you i live on a 200 yard dirt drive way/ road so not taking it from place to place etc . thanks for reading .
I would love to hear more about leasing. No one can ever give me a straight answer about the benefits of it.

With purchasing as well out right you can only write off the interest on the item if financed and the depreciation
When leasing doesn’t count as money owed as a loan yes there is many leasing options as Stan said from lower lease payments higher buy out end of lease to dollar buy outs all depends upon how you are using machine loading salt lease get rid of it at end of term
Stay away from it unless you plan on buy it out at the end.
Same here. Especially about farm equipment
Not having to deal with DEF is a dream . Nice looking machine!

Awesome video as always! They definitely need to make trucks with a tailgate chime, that you can override just in case you do want your tailgate down.

I've always been curious how using a skiddy vs a wheel loader would compare other than visibility. Love your stuff. Keep it up
Wheel loader has way more visibility

Last week of January and very little snow here in Downeast Maine.

😂😂 you’re back seat area of your truck looks just like mine.
Nice one Stan. 👍👍🏴🏴
I looked at this machine a few years ago, they didn't have a coupler for skid steer attachments. So you could only use their bucket and forks.
so sad to hear about lucy she was a good dog will miss hearing her braying in the back ground.
