I was raised a Baptist. I searched the New Testament as a teenager and often had questions such as "Is my pastor a prophet? If not, why aren't there prophets today like Moses and Abraham? Why aren't there 12 Apostles anymore? Why aren't there gifts and miracles like there were in the New Testament?" Now I know why. Now I know that so much was lost but has been found, and I am privileged beyond my wildest imagination to be a part of Christ's Church just as I read about in the Bible. I have been a member for over 4 years and I pray God's love and truth will always fill my heart so that I will never fall away from the Church. I know by the power of the Holy Ghost that Jesus lives and that His Church is on earth again. I know Joseph Smith was Jesus' chosen servant to bring it all to pass. God and Christ are in this work, and I know we need to be engaged in it because we will ALL see Them soon. For these blessings, I pray God be thanked and praised forever in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. #HearHim

I had those same questions as a teenager. Then, they open a small branch near me.
I was trained to be a Baptist Pastor, but I had so many questions that I was tossed out of the Seminary. Those unanswered questions led me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where I was joyfully baptized in 1975. It has been a wonderful trip ever since serving the Lord in any way that I can.

I read the Book of Mormon during the year when I was 15. As rebellious teen, I found during that year that the times I read and prayed, good spiritual things happened. By the time I finished, I knew for my self that Joseph Smith had seen and spoke to God and His Son Jesus Christ. What I discovered that year I can never deny, even through more rebellious times in my life.

I feel the same. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, I am blessed to know certain fundamental gospel truths that, even through the darkest, most doubtful years of my life, work to guide me through my trials and help me to bless the lives of others, or at least manage not to go astray myself.
not everyone who call on me saying lord lord will enter heaven, christ will say to them away from you who are cursed... For I never knew you, Mormons Jws muslims and all who reject the only true christ of the bible will perish. Man will NEVER become a God. that is blasphemy, Only God is God and we can never reach the status of becoming the uncreated creator. i rebuke this false religion and teaching in jesus name, Joseph smith has spiritually killed millions of people with his revelations and false teachings. may god have mercy on your souls. I know that the things President Nelson said today are true. This is without a doubt the true church of christ and it is lead by him. This is the gathering of israel and this is the most joyful and important work that we can be apart of. This is real.

Pray about it. Read the written accounts of what happened, then ponder and pray again. Not everyone learns or accepts these things the same way or in the same time, but they are still true.
@jason I appreciate your reply. I have asked myself the same question, yet I have my own affirmation that is purely tailored to fit my testimony. I pray that you can get your own with sincere prayer and if you follow the same prompting that the boy Joseph did at his tender age of youth. As he followed the example of his own mother, pray in the Grove after he read James 1:5. Again thank you for the reply, I hope we can talk more whenever you need. 🙏

When they played the Oct. 2000 Hosanna recording followed by the Spirit of God, I couldn't help but be overcome by a flood of emotions. Seeing the Spirit touch the members of the tabernacle choir and watching all the members rise was such a moving moment. I was only a young youth back then and did not recall this happen. Watching it today made it feel like the past became present today, transcending time and finite boundaries. Such a surreal experience that I will remember forever.

Me too, i saw members of the choir wiping their tears i too was overcome with the spirit even after the closing prayer, the brother who was saying the closing prayer, i was crying, powerful talks and music, thanku for sharing, Love from New Zealand

I didn’t come this far to only come this far. I came this far so that I could be strong enough to further! So I would be good enough to push myself harder! What a memorable sunday is was. I bear my testimony that Jesus is Lord and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God . President Nelson is a true servant of God.

Without the Restoration, I would not have a deeper connection to God, The Father and Jesus Christ. I wouldn’t have an understanding of Their love for me. I thank God for all the good in my life. I believe in this Restoration with all my heart and have hope for the future because of it.

Amazing proclamation! I cannot wait to see what the Lord has to reveal to us and whatever he has in store for us in the future.
Good or bad, in this world if something happens there's a lesson to be learned from it. I believe the lesson to be learned from this proclamation is that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ listen to us, love us, and are aware of us.

A testimony of the divinity of the counsel to participate in the Hosanna shout. I live is Australia and the time difference makes it impossible to sync with the rest of the world. Being a student and a busy mum I do my studies at night and studied into the night. I retired to bed close to 12am Monday here and about an hour or less I was awake and I felt like I have had a full night sleep. I wondered to my self why I couldn't sleep and was that awake. I was been pressed upon to watch the conference but I pushed it away, saying to myself 'I will watch it in the morning I need my rest to tackle the busy task of the day' but the promptings never went away. My daughter joined the waking me up so I got up to put her to bed again. There, the burning desire increased and I finally went for my phone to watch the Sunday session live. As I put the internet on, a friend from Ghana sent me the requirements for the session and shortly after my neighbour send a message about the shout. I thought to my self that its late and I can't get the requirement. But ideas popped in my head. As I watched the conference, I got a piece of white cloth and made a handkerchief out of it and in no time I was all set and ready to join the multitude around the world regardless of time and space in the shout. I have been humble to be called from my sleep to do this historic and memorable shout. I will store my inspired handkerchief as a reminder for my generation. I have not been forgotten!!
I got baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ August 21st 2014 one of the most greatest things ever did my life in my young age the people there we'll go on to the greater world because they are good people people that deserve nothing but the best people that deserve Jesus Christ

Today an associate said to me "The Book of Mormon is NOT the word of God." I cried because I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God! Seeing this video reminds me of the sacrifices Joseph Smith made to restore the church, and it brings peace to my heart. 💜
Just remember always, that there might come a time when you will tell your associate...”see, I told you so” ....hug him/her and welcome them into gods glory
Stand firm in your faith, and testimony. I promise those are two things nobody can ever deny you of!
I’ve had those moments. But, I’ve also taken the phone call years later, from the same, telling he they’ve been trying to reach me, and then they report that at a low point in their life they remembered my testimony, invited the missionaries in when they knocked, abs that they are now a baptized member of the Church.
It’s a great redemption moment for us all, knowing that after all the stupidity we have done in the sight of others throughout our lives, and how many we may have convinced that the Gospel isn’t true by our mistakes... to help bring one into the Church may make all those fumblings prior to, insignificant to the winning play in this rivalry against the adversary.
Point is, don’t dwell on it too much, band don’t let those fingers of scorn slow you down! ONWARD, EVER ONWARD!
Stop crying and defend the gospel.

The Hosanna Shout is solemn and sacred. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have participated in it because of this proclamation. God truly loves His children.

He was prepared from the beginning, just the like the Prophet Joseph before him, to lead the Saints at this time. We don't know how long this pandemic we will last, nor do we know how much people around the world will suffer. We watched General Conference as a family this weekend. We are so uplifted during this time of trouble. We have greater hope and we know good exists in the world. our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us. They have sent us the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have a living prophet on the earth today! We are so grateful for the peace the gospel brings to our lives.

Beautiful proclamation
Grateful, very LOUD and proud, Lds Christian, combat vet right here of Afghanistan. There is no imperfect mortal, meaning all of you, going to tell me God didn't hear my prayers in war or that I didn't pray in Jesus Christ's name. Especially when I asked God which church to join. Despite my strong disbelief of other very great faiths like catholicism and Islam, I look forward to holding the line and pressing forward. Plowing through all evil with my just as brave Islamic or other Christian, any good believer really, brethren and sisters with a very very common enemy. God speed to our modern day Prophets and Apostles once again on the Earth 🙏🌎🌍🌏 🤲
