I would never spew hatred at members of the Latter Day Saints, but I would hope to change their hearts with love & cause them to accept that the only way to know God is only through the old and New Testament.

No this is a lie. You guys are falling for the one world religion that is spoken about in revelation. There is only one true Jesus Christ and He is Gods Son the second person of the trinity he is the Godman. Paul warns us about another Jesus in 2 Cor Ch 11. Also warns us about another gospel in Gal 1. What does John say in 1 John 4:3 If anyone denies the deity of our lord Jesus Christ, he is not of God he is an antichrist. The bible warns us over and over again not be deceived. This movie has nothing to do with the true Jesus Christ nor is it leading anyone to salvation nor is it biblical at all. This movie came out to deceive people and that's it. Joeseph smith did have a vision, but it was from Satan not God.
As a Muslim, i respect the story because it shows bravery, passion, persistence, and serenity to the fellow Mormons, even us Muslims were also oppresed a long time ago with the arab pagans throwing stones at the believers, and expelling them from Makkah and Medina. I recently myself had been struggling with mental illnesses after the loss of. Child ans a seperation from my husband . I can tell u the battles I had after making my first prayer since stepping away from the church but I continued praying asking God to help me have strength in my weaknesses from quitting smoking, my addictions and to reveal what I should do in important decisions in my life. I’m not Mormon but I’m learning. I attended a study session with two missionaries and they were telling me about Joseph Smith (they also gave me the Book of Mormon). So im glad I stumbled upon this movie, it helped me understand Joseph Smith much better
Never stop learning about God and our Saviour. The more you learn, the more your heart will be filled with their love and your life will be guided and the more mind blown you will be. I've been a member my whole life but as I continue to pray and read the scriptures I never stop learning about the love of God.

If I could give any advice at all (not that you asked) notice how each person in this story found their faith not because Joseph was such an inspiring person but because they prayed and asked God. Yes. I learned a lot from this movie. Joseph Smith was possessed by a demon and revealed a false reality about how God revealed Himself to Joseph. That explains why the LDS church is so contradictory to everything taught in the Bible: because Joseph Smith didn't see God, he saw Satan the deceiver.
Ask the missionaries to show you the doctrine and covenants, pearl of great price, and journal of discourses. That’s what they REALLY believe. They use the bOm as lure to get you hooked. Look I tot he curious real history and beliefs!

Im not mormon but this is such a well told story of a people who show great strength against unjust oppression.
The only way for you to know for yourself that this story is true, is to ask God in prayer to reveal an answer of whether if it's true or not, to you. I have received my own personal answer from God, and I know that this story is true. And the more I learn from the Bible and the Book of Mormon, more truths are revealed to my heart and mind. I'm so grateful for the Bible and Book of Mormon and prayer because they have helped me be more aware of God and Jesus love and continuous guidance in my and my family's lives.

Although I am not a member of this church, this movie led me to listen to some sermons of the Church of Christ of the Latter Days. I am impressed. Yet to me the Bible still the Only true revelation of God’s heart.

We can wrest the scripture to justify our own view/belief, but we need the Holy Ghost to justify to us the truth of things and to teach us to understand the bible as well. If you a familiar with the story of Stephen in Acts 6 and 7, he had the Spirit that taught and justify the truth to him. His accusers were wrestling with the scripture to justify their own views and up to killing him.

Do you know that the Bible mentions that the Book of Mormon will come about in the last days. It happened. Also members of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" is the same as it was set up 2000 years ago. Priest, deacons, 12 Apostles. But in the end its the Holy Spirit that changes hearts. I know of all the churches my mother ever took me to, the holy spirit It is very strong in the lds church. You can find the truth if you really want to.
One can not go by what people say, one must seek the truth while studying and praying, seek the missionaries with a humble heart. One has to be open, humble, meek and ask God. Joseph Smith was talking to a lady about the church in the late 1820's, she got really hung up on the church. The lady said something like, I want a church that loves. I don't remember the details, but Mr. Smith said, that is our faith, loving one another. The devil has done a dark work in keeping people from learning about the things of God, Christ church. The answers are not in this world, the answer is in having enough faith to humble yourself and seek it and let the holy spirit guide you. The spirit is strong in my life. We all have free will to choose. But I would like to say in the book of 2nd Timothy: Verse 7 says.... Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
The church we have learned a great deal of things unknown to the world. If it wasn't for Joseph I would not grasp the book of revelation. Because of the church and the holy spirit I can tell you what will happen, before it happens. War with Iran and the USA will be divided into 4 countries about 2024-25. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I am thankful for my blessings and it is my prayer that we will share those blessings together in heaven. There is a reason why LDS members say we are the church, it was restored and we have the holy spirit, we are the saints, that is mentioned in the book of revelation. I am going to nauvoo soon so I can’t wait! after watching this I feel peaceful. my mom was diagnosed with cancer when I was 11 years old and now I’m 13 and almost all her cancer is gone (she has colon cancer stage 4) and praying helped a lot and going to church I also did baptisms for the dead and I loved going to the temple and if your Not LDS Thank you for watching this video❤️

My mother died to stage 4 colon cancer about 1 year and a half ago. Coincidently about a month ago I also went to Nauvoo. If your mother is still on Earth, let her feel your love every day, and look to the Lord in faith.

One of my most cherished memories from growing up in Utah is the constant presence of church teachings in our lives. Whether it was going downtown Salt Lake to watch the Joseph Smith movies with Sister Kimball or actively participating in the activities for young women and young men, those experiences always made a profound impact on me. Whenever I watched those movies, I could feel the spirit touching my heart and soul, reaffirming the truthfulness of the gospel. It reminded me that as long as we maintain that unwavering desire and faith, just like Joseph Smith did as a young boy, we can overcome any challenge.

You know prophet, even during the time after the resurrection of Christ Paul went through teaching many things and setting up the way the Lord wanted his church setup just like Joseph Smith was chosen to set up the Lord's Church now upon the Earth. Just like and Paul day they had effeminate just like today in our world in chapter 6 1st Corinthians Paul taught the things Joseph Smith is teaching the same thing now and every time you will always have these effeminate doing the same thing to draw attention away from Joseph Smith the prophet. We all must do the things the Lord requires us to do and nevermind about the squawkers in the background.
I sometimes feel guilty of my sins and for not turning to Him when my two older brothers died in 2021 due to asthma and heart failure. I have asthma as well but have ah ealthy heart. I somehow forgot the things I learned from primary to serving a mission. I stopped going to church and making excuses to not attending church activies. My parents are not so active in the church. For long years I did not see the love and blessings after the tragic happened because of anger and doubts. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ arent giving up sending good friends and especially the Holy Ghost. My testimony and through the help of the Holy Ghost I made my steps to turning to Him again. Last November, Our bishop granted me to renew my temple recommend and visit the temple. I couldn't contained my joy and peace I felt inside the temple to proxy my late older brother to receive his endowment and sealed my late grandparents through the help of my aunt and uncle. I testify everything in the Church is true. I testify temple are the house of holiness.

Don't be deceived by this church. Joesph smith preached a false gospel and Christ like the bible warned us about in 2 Corinthian's 11 and Galatians 1:1.
I recently went to Nauvoo to participate in the Nauvoo and British pageants. These things show the Lord's glory and his light. They show that the Lord does not forget anyone, and they show that even a simple farm boy can become a great prophet. They show truth.
Even King David when he was younger receive the calling to lead his people.
I saw and loved The Cumorah Pageant when it was going. What joy it brought to my heart! It made me want to fly upwards into the sky.

Great are the prophecies that have been fulfilled through Joseph Smith and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Excited to see the end time prophecies come to pass and the stone kingdom of Christ grow to fill the whole world when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is the Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

When the opportunity came upon me to go to Navoo in my youth and again when my young adult hood i took it both times . Went to the temple got to see what the inside looked liked , even went to the jail where Joseph, and the brothers where asked to go .
The spirit felt in both places felled my heart with grif and joy .

I was a member of the Church and even tho i am not in the church anymore, BUT I still witness in regards to the lessons i learned with welcome and open minded...this is one of the Gospel i found out with most warmth and happiest people involved, we all know Jesus dwells in a happy environment. I am still a believer of the Church and its teachings, we know God only accept the pure in the hearts people in His presence. Morever, even if we are in different Denomination BUT if we accepted Jesus and believe Him that is the main key for Salvation. I found members of this Denominations are the most nicest people out there, so as other Denominations. True believers in Christ who always accepted and believe Him.

I am a convert to the church and I learn about making and keeping covenants with Heavenly Father, is what binds us to Him via His Son and the Authority of the Priesthood. Without the Covenants, we have no promise.
The Jesus of the Mormons cannot save you. You must come to Jesus of the Bible, who created Lucifer who created everything, and only the Bible is the word of God, No other book should be added or subtracted.

@@james8996 I believe that Heavenly Father and the Son lives to this day, so, would they have kept quiet for thousand years since the bible was compiled? Because they live, they give revelation (usually via the Holy Ghost) to his chosen servant to this day, after the bible was written. Even Peter had revelations to lead the church after Jesus.
If you know your bible, read the story of Stephen in Acts 6&7 where his accusers were claiming the same thing, but Stephen had revelations from the Holy Ghost and he was revealing truths.

He’d given up & 5 months ago the Spirit said, “check under the Mormon rock.” He’d been taught all the lies & twisted representations of our beliefs, so never checked out the LDS faith until then. He tells a wonderful story abt how he came to know JS was a prophet, (after pushing it away as being too crazy & then humbling himself to God’s will), as well as multiple videos going over the Bible passages that teach our doctrine… he has much of the Bible memorized. Why the change?
I used to attend church, because my parents went. Then my parents split, and my dad went catholic.
(Oh my gosh.. I just had an epiphany! Regarding religion and the human brain! Ok I'm distracted.) So my mom stayed LDS, and ...I did too. But one day, she bore her testimony to me...and I knew she was telling me the truth. It wasn't scripted. It was genuine, and heartfelt, and it stuck with me. I kinda borrowed hers until I had the courage to ask on my own.
...I had a lot of bad habits I had to break though, oh my gosh.
It was hard, because I have impulsivity issues. ... but, I also wasn't aware of the fact that I had em,... I definitely would have medicated and gone to therapy a lot sooner! 😂... sorry, I'm distracted again.... (I hyperfocus when I'm stressed. Congrats. You're my new journal. I'm so sorry man...)
Ok..I seriously forgot my..oh yeah! My testimony! .. honestly...my testimony is about the only thing I'm willing to share right now.
...I was about 22 ish? I think my daughter was 2? Close to anyway? And I realized...I didn't know for sure...for MYSELF. So I started taking the discussions, as if I were brand new. Because honestly.. I don't know if I ever paid attention. I just...went. So I had to start actually finding out for myself..because, I was a single mom, and life was really hard... I didn't want more freaking rules. Uuuugh.
But as I kept learning, I kept feeling...happy. happier every time they came over. I know everyone's experiences are different... sometimes it's through personal prayer, like mine.. or a dream, or something personal that God knows will ultimately touch your soul.
I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's restored church. It's not that every other religion is completely wrong... it's just they're missing some necessary...keys?

...it was the most undeniable experience that I've ever had. Despite my battles with trauma, depression, addiction, abuse, neglect, PTSD,...my testimony is the one thing that has kept me from losing my way..
....and my ex husband saw that. And did what He could to destroy me, by hurting anybody I loved. ..including my children...
And still my testimony stayed.
Because...truth is truth. Regardless of what others say or do.
All we can do is live our best truth, and....pray everyday. Every hour every minute if needed. ....I've been there.

Yes, you're rigth, but in this case, Jesucrist and his father preach they same gospel to Joseph Smith, the restauration of his church and his gospel, too.
Indeed, Joseph was merely a Messenger, not a Prophet, he preached the Trinity and did not take up more than one wife, If he had taught polytheism, his Lord would have known otherwise.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will never fall. There will be many Saints that's fall keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ and his Doctrine alive. Many of the Saints inside and outside of the church will be gathered in the last day when the Lord gathers his people before the Dreadful day of the burning of the non-believers and the wicked that choose not to repent. But things Joseph Smith done and the Apostle Paul done setting up the church was a hard chore but they were determined to follow the Lord's Council how the church Jesus Christ was to be set up with the Everlasting gospel. The only one that should be worried is the non-believers and those who mock only because of their ignorance. Continue to educate yourself in the scriptures daily. The look Joseph gives Hyrum as the mob pounds against the door captures his reflection on the journey alongside his brother to restore the Gospel in the face of continual opposition. His hand washing before his first prayer and his martyrdom parallels temple ceremonies and symbolizes his purity before entering the presence of God
This is a wonderful depiction of people of faith. Just as in the time of Saul of Tarsus, many people struggled to discern the truth of the Gospel of Christ. It was different than that which their traditions had taught them. However, this Saul, later Paul, was a seeker of truth and he received the greater light through the Holy Spirit, changing his life and ministry forever. This wonderful story has been renewed in our modern day, after a long famine from "hearing the words of the Lord" (Amos 8:1), through the prophet Joseph. Thankfully we, like Paul and all seekers of truth, can know how to discern truth for ourselves, by following their examples. (see The Holy Bible, 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 & The Book of Mormon, Moroni 10:3-5). God The Father loves all of His children!
I am Born Mormon and I am happy that I belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The sacrifices of the Prophets of Old gifts us the liberty and freedom we have right now to go each week in the Sacrament Meeting to remember the atoning sacrifice of our Savior as we renew our baptismal covenant without fearing for our safety. And more importantly for the blessing of having The Book of Mormon. I testify that all good things are of the Lord Jesus Christ and The Book of Mormon testify about all good things we should do in this world.

He used a stone. A hat in a face doesn't look very good on screen. That being said, he was a prophet and was very adept at receiving revelation, so it's not impossible he could understand what the figures meant that way.

I only know a Heavenly Father inside my body. I only know that the Mormon LDS Church has brought him forth unto me through my Faith bc of believeing that the Mormon LDS Church is true. I have felt the presense of the Master inside my body. I only know of him of a greater true devine inspiration. I received him and his word through the blood of the Savior being baptised by water in the LDS Church. I have felt such wonderful things bc of my faith in knowing that the LDS Church is the God that created everything and is my Master. I testify to you these things out of the Love for my God in the Name of Jesus Christ. This beautiful Church is the reason why I have received the Master inside my body. Listen to your heart. The LDS Church is the true word of God. Desire to be baptised by LDS missionaries into the LDS Church and your life will change for the better and if you ask in faith you will receive far greater things inside your body than what you can understand.

Ireneaus, papias, origen, eternal hell was not mainstream until the fifth century. We do not teach another gospel, we teach the eternal gospel, the gospel of Peter and of Paul. Great movie
I actually have a copy of the Book of Mormon. I'm a lapse Catholic somewhat mainly because my faith was shaken during my time overseas in the Marines. One of my squadmates gave me a Book and i gave him one of my Native Bandanas to remember each other not to convert but just as a memoir. There are a few things I have tough times understanding. Mainly the split philosophies between Brigham Young, Joseph Smith, and even hearing Emma had some disagreements. Being half Pima Native and Half white have many tattoos...also am curious about what the LDS Church's opinion over me would be if I even tried to join. Regardless these videos...for all of J. Smith's historical shortcomings (we're all humans who make mistakes). But this was a good representation of how many different beliefs are persecuted but those who stand tall and stern last forever. Unfortunately my friend Brother Francis lost his own battle with PTSD two years ago. I accept everyones belief out of respect but I enjoy studying other religions. I think that helps us grow in understanding.

I'm not sure what part of your experience you're worried about how the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints members would accept you or not but my husband's been a member for almost 20 years now and he has several tattoos depending on where you're located that shouldn't be an issue❤
