This is simply the BEST video discussing the Temple, what we do there, the covenants that we make, and the WHY behind it all! I'm so grateful that the Lord restored the doctrine of Temples, the Priesthood authority to perform binding ordinances therein, and that He has provided (and continues to provide) so many Temples around the world to give as many of God's children as possible the opportunity to come, make covenants, and receive wonderful blessings.
I'm a Catholic but I was fascinated by the beauty of your temple. God bless us all

This is a beautiful video! What a gift to be able to see the rooms of a temple, and explanations of the ceremonies and symbolism. I can't wait to show my children and all of my friends who are not members who are very curious about temples. This will also be so helpful for those preparing to go to the temple the first time.I hope I can go to the Rome Temple someday. What a historic and miraculous building!
Agreed, this is an amazing tool for members and non-members a like. I wish there was a video like this in my temple prep classes. Just a clearer explanation of what to expect, and hopefully helping non-members understand better that it's sacred, not secret.

Hey, no graven images remember, that means marble statues and paintings, Our baptism in water is repenting or turning from sin and making a promise to become as putty in the makers hands.
We are taught that we shouldn’t focus on fancy things. Why would they spend so much on a temple then?
This is a great question. We regard temples as more than simply a chapel, church, synagogue or cathedral-- we believe temples are literal houses of the Lord, devoted to the highest and most sacred ordinances, or sacred rites. As in ancient times, temples are constructed using our very best, as commanded by God. I may not be a Mormon however as a Christian who loves God and is grateful for salvation through Jesus Christ I do see extreme beauty and elegance in the temple architecture and I hope and pray that everyone who does not yet know God will be saved.

The House of the Lord is not a secret place, but a very sacred place. This video does a great job of showing non-members what it’s like in there and explaining it so it makes sense. I love this church and I love Jesus Christ with all my heart.

Interestingly enough, the thing that impressed me most about this video was the comments they made about the "Bride's Room." (A dressing room for the bride.) Basically they pointed out that every bride is a loved daughter of God, and regardless of her financial background she is given a princess wedding. I love that we are all equal in the eyes of God. I love that He loves each of us individually and cares about our personal happiness.

It's sometimes easier for a person who has very little to return to God, then those who have, well, more then they need in life. It's easy to be blinded by the success and worldly things, and harder to focus on what's really important.
In other words, at times, it's more of a blessing to just get by.
Returning to the Salt Lake Temple after a 14 year hiatus and happy to attend. Lost my way for a while but have found it again.

The Holy Bible is the true word of God as far as it's been translated correctly, it's similar to the other Holy Bible translations like the new world and other Bibles. Only in the Book of Revelation it says not to add to or take away from this book of revelation . It would been nice if they would have put the Book of Enoch in the Bible but they would not. So they only put a couple things in Genesis. The Book of Mormon is the true word of God and the Holy Bible it is another Testament of Jesus Christ just like the Book of Mormon. If you only limit yourself to one book that's only halfway because the word of the Lord Jesus Christ will never end or never stop. So don't put a limit on your research if you do that's as far as you can go.

I am so thankful for the House of the LORD . After 62 years I was sealed to my Mother and Father and I was so blessed and Happy and my heart was filled with the LOVE Of JESUS CHRIST for the sealing ordinates to be sealed to my parents for time and all eternity.
I am on the road to get back to the Temple. I cannot wait. I love my savoir Jesus Christ.

What a beautiful tour of the temple. The church leaders are being so open. Thank you. I love the temple. I know the church is true, I know that we have true living prophets of God on earth and that the Lord Jesus Christ lives, that the Temples are His Holy House on earth, were we can feel of his sacred presence and peace.
The best thing I have ever done in my life is join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! We are so blessed to have The Gospel in our lives!!
When I entered the temple with my family, the rest of the world ceased to exist. All my problems, issues, and worries just faded, and my mind was completely focused on my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Heaven on earth and I am grateful for the gospel and the sealing of my family for time and all eternity.

Exactly! My large home was built similar to many rooms of the Rome Temple. I had built a celestial room on the step rest area on the staircase which is 10 X 12 where also I have pure white baby grand - piano surrounded with many large windows sooo when people drive-by or walk- by they see the luxurious beauty of the white piano with walnut wood staircase and 2 inch white wool carpeting and a huge crystal chandelier and all surrounded with white beveled - glass windows🎉!

UA-cam is not and cannot be a glorious invention. I quite agree though, that "used for good," it can really help in disseminating the Gospel of our God, Lord and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Elder Rasband seems so humble... Just like any man you would know as your neighbor. I love to hear Elder Bednar's voice... Especially his recorded, narrator's voice. So soothing and yet totally firm and immovable. I noticed Sister Bednar's outfit matched the Bride's room. THAT was an amazing room! Thank you for pointing out that even apostles and wives can disagree sometimes Sister Bednar. President Nelson! So meek and yet a heart surgeon. Practically impossible to be a meek doctor, let alone a surgeon. He exudes love! Great video. Now if we can just get rid of this Covid issue we can go back to the temples!

The Apostle.Bernard sound Familiar. I was raced Catholic in other Countries. And as a young Girl. My Parents always taught me to Love God. Later on when I moved to Southern CA I attend different Christians Congregations. And accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour. All my wonderful Pastors taught me how to grow spiritual. And to never give up on God. We living in an imperfect world. But when we read pur Bibles Every day! We asked God to help us the things we can not change. God is our wonderful Father. He Loves all his children. Even when we feel discourage & dissappointed about this world. Our Dear Heavenly Father give us courage to trust in him. 2 Nephi 9

Im excited for the members of the church in Rome. What a beautiful temple. Like all temples, I love how each is unique but the ordinances and covenants are the same. I hope all the people of Rome will take the opportunity to tour the temple during the open house time and in anyway walk away feeling like they have had a glimpse of heaven.
I remember when this temple was announced. Many people thought it was a joke but I am glad to see it is not a joke.
In coming days we will see the true significance of this House of the Lord.

That isamazing good news. There are so many people from the church living on the street in jail from drugs. I hope the same thing that gets new members off would bring drug addict members back or prevent them from doing drugs.

I love to see the temple. How I would love to one day visit this temple. I am happy however to have my temple recommend back. As an older single sister its hard to sit in a church full of families, but I know I will find peace and joy in my heart to let go of me and serve another. Thank you so much for sharing

I miss that place so much. As a missionary I lived on the property where the temple now stands. Even then it was a sacred location.

Whenever the Lord has had the fullness of his gospel on the earth there have always been temples. Moses had the tabernacle. Solomon built a temple. Nephi built a temple in the Book of Mormon. It is such a blessing to have the temple restored in our day.

I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ , for temples, and for Apostles that love us and want us to live the plan of happiness. This is our probationary state. We are more than we can see and feel. We do have a purpose and reason for coming to this earth 🌏 I am so grateful to have been taught the truth of this life . There are so many things going on in the world , but the power that changes human nature and brings us happiness has never changed !

For any who might have heard from sources unfriendly to The Church that there are "secret" or "cultish" things happening in the temples, I would like to say that I have been there many, many times. This video is an accurate portrayal of the inside of a temple, and those things done in there are all calculated to make us better, kinder, more moral people, who strive to act as Christ taught. Bear in mind that the Lord came to redeem the imperfect, and we are all of us just that: imperfect. We strive to be less so all the time though, and going to the Temple of Jesus Christ is part of that process.
Keep digging my friend. God will answer you through simple faith in Christ once you leave the chruch. He did for me, he will for you!

You do NOT "live" the Gospel. You have been deceived. The Gospel is found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. When the Mormons tell you they "restored" it, they are misleading you. Please, read the GOSPEL for yourself (there is NOT a single temple ordinance in the TRUE GOSPEL).

Being sealed to my wife in the Temple is one of the most spectacular moments of my life, the love that comes from such a sacred place can not be understated. May the Lords choicest blessings find you all.

Thank you for providing this blessed tour of the Rome Italy temple. I was so moved, I rewatched this beautiful experience. Absolutely beautiful inside and out. I started tearing up watching it, feeling the spirit. I can't wait to go through our local temple for the first time. I am honored and excited to soon be able to proxy for my biological Grandfather who at heart was my dad, and provide him with the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. While providing my Grandmother's (mom's) name to also have the same opportunity. I have much work ahead to do for many ancestors. I am greatful for Jesus in so many ways, above all, providing us with a way to return to our Heavenly Father. I'm greatful for the Church of Jesus Christ, our prophet, and the quorum of the 12 apostles, our local leaders and my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and I say this in the holy name of my Lord and savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

There are actually 171 temples in full service around the world and 29 being built
Pictures of other temples yes, but I think this was the first video tour of a temple. Temples get remodeled or refurbished from time to time, and they will have open houses where the public can tour them before they are rededicated to be opened.
@@garrettjensen6678 There are actually only 156 in full service, 8 under renovations, 15 under construction and 30 other that have been announced.
Life is about learning to love and except all things good and bad. We are only here to learn from our earthly experiences and to follow in the footsteps of the savior to behave according to his will soo we can be blessed grace by grace receiving blessings.

This was such a beautiful video, and so personal! I am so grateful for this. I will add my testimony as a lowly member of the Church of Jesus Christ that Jesus Christ lives and that the temple is His holy house. I know that to be true.

It would be a Beautiful experience. The Elderlies shared this Video with me. Before I got Baptized. My Baptism was very Beautiful.I could feel the presence of God when one of the Elders emerged me into the water. The Ceremony was very special. I eas also felt the Presence of the Wholly Spirit when I shared my Testimonies about God was answering some of my Prayers. Whay a Marvelous God we serve!

All religions teach that the Holy Ghost is about feelings, that’s why they all claim theirs is the true church.

It is perhaps worth mentioning that the magnificent Jesus statue in your church, is a replica of the statue in the Church of our Lady in Copenhagen, Denmark. Made by the Danish sculptor Berthel Thorvaldsen.
I know as surely as I live, that God lives. I know that He sent his son to atone for my sins and for every pain and sorrow I could ever experience. I know that same Jesus who atoned for me personally and for all who have ever and will ever live was crucified and arose from the dead because He had power to do so. Because of Him, I and all mankind will be resurrected and will receive a just reward for the eternity to follow.
Temples are sacred and make it possible for those who have already passed through the veil of death to experience the same redemptive powers that I will experience. I am so grateful for all that God has revealed and that He will yet reveal. I testify that the heavens are not sealed and that revelation continues for mankind through His past and His living prophets and apostles on the earth today. I know that personal revelation is real and available to all who earnestly ask and worthy themselves to receive it. I have received personal revelation in times of need as I have worthied myself. I know my Savior and He has revealed to me that He knows me personally for which I am humbled and grateful and I so testify in the name of Jesus Christ.
