To have strong feelings for someone you know but have never had a relationship with is difficult. They're with someone and you wish they were with you instead. To love someone who doesn't even know you love them is difficult. And you love them because they possess nice characteristics. No Serial Killer.
Having a crush on someone I can't be with, that's happened to me three times in my life so far, all because those girls were already in relationships, I even remember having a dream once where one of my crushes outright told me the chances of me being with her were non-existent. All I can say is that you can never control your attraction to someone, in my case, they just have to push all the right push buttons and be all the things I look for in a romantic interest and they'll be on my mind for some time until for whatever reason they'd disappear from my life and I'd never see them again.
I like someone who has a girlfriend and they are happy together. I don’t want to and don’t plan to ruin their relationship. It’s just hurting me every time I see them together and I don’t know what to to with my feelings that I have been keeping a secret for 6 months now. Advice?
I don't know what happens now but wait till they are done and let it play out

@Lindsay Ulstad I'm really sorry that you're going through that. Know that things usually happen for a reason, if you two are destined to be together, you will find your way to each other. If you're not, someone absolutely perfect for you will be with you! Now, you're not going to want to hear what I have to say but here it is; I think you need to move on for now. It sounds like your friend and your crush will get together, and once that happens he will be off limits. If you start the mourning process now, it will be easier later. Stay strong, and know that somewhere out there your person is waiting ❤

First met her in middle school. Didn’t even pay her any mind nor did I even notice her for the first few months of our 7th grade year. But when I did, first thought was “She has a cute scarf,” and I went about my business. Fast forward a bit, I talk to her just a bit and hold her a few conversations in our freshman year but in our sophomore year, things changed. She sat behind me for a whole semester after schools were allowed to open back up and I found myself talking with her all the time. The year was coming to a close and so we added each other on discord and talked all summer. Every. Single. Day. Junior year, September of this year actually, we had the same German class together for basically the beginning of the year till now. Talk with her everyday and I find myself discovering more and more of… her. Her likes and dislikes, the things that make her feel certain ways and all kinds of other things. All the while, she’s doing things like straight up holding my hand every time we sit by each other everyday in class so I my crush on her gets deeper because she makes me happy and her presence has a large impact on me. She makes me smile and I try my best to make her smile. Her relationship status though is what has stopped me from saying anything. I’ve heard a whisper or two about how she’s probably dating this one guy whine such rumors float around about us. She neither confirms nor denies anything but it’s so rarely brought up, it probably doesn’t even cross her mind. I honestly have no clue what to do.

Apart from huge insecurities I have, I usually fall for good looking guys, this crush in particular, I see signs he likes me or im wrong, or he prob just notice my presence and stuff or in a worse way he lacks attention. But he is just so cute and I made multiple fantasies about him ,checking his social accounts to an unnormal degree, but I didn't add him, I was sad to find out in pictures there's an older woman beside him who is always sticking on him and got a conclusion he is taken. It makes me sad cause I did expect he like me for bit, like the way he follows my route(or i could be wrong) the way he slows down walking in street and looks back at me to check if I'm still there. he goes to where I usually hang out and he would do stuff like bumping me etc etc. I'm really unsettled and I feel embarassed today cause I talk to him for greeting and somehow I mentioned and act like I am concern for him 😅😢 its just.... It was obvious as day he get the idea I like him. And I really hope to get over something that has no hope. It feels like I'm in the edge or something.

I have a crush on a lady I only see when she’s working at a local grocery store. I don’t know her at all yet I’ve got it pretty bad. One day at the customer service desk she was there when I needed extra change so I could add air to my bike tire. I made the transaction with her. Moments later I blew up the tire thinking of guess who. Saw her again today before Christmas and I just know I have a zero chance
RTS Beyond I had a zero chance girl, I saw her six months later saw her at a friends house she gave me her number for what I assumed were purely business reasons, a month later my friend called and he asked me why I hadn’t called her he had to ask several times because “I had no chance”. 2 years later we were engaged.
Not saying you have a chance or not but the amount of women who confessed to me years later that they were super interested in me was frustrating because I just felt so incredibly unattractive back then. I was horribly shy awkward and just hated myself overall. But apparently I was considered very very attractive in that time in my life, as I have gotten older and learned a lot through studying these things and through general experience I have learned it’s absolutely impossible to predict who will want you. I’ve had girls I was insanely confident about turn me down for a third date, I have had girls who were so out of my league no body would’ve believed me hunting me down. And everything in between, this stuff is complicated.
In the end the only appropriate question is are you loving yourself because that’s what people are going to see and that’s going to dictate your experience, do you by hand made soap. Do you have a fragrance that suits you. Does the way you dress make you excited to walk out your door, does the car you drive feel good to you.. it doesn’t have to be anything special as long as it makes you happy. Are you doing something for money that doesn’t depress you or even makes you enjoy yourself, do you eat well, do you go to the gym to you look like you wanna look with your clothes off, do you do things with your time you are proud of.????
If not, then why? If you truly have no chance there are things you can do to have a chance.
Above everything else learn how to flirt, learn how to be fun to the opposite sex in a way that leaves room for them to escalate things. Learn how to talk to women who looks intimidate you and then after that there’s very little else to do but LOVE YOU. You can worry about sex but most partners worth investing in will happily work with you to get you in the right direction.
Also, if you don’t know anything about he technically you can’t really have a crush as much as infatuated with looks, beware that women are not all sunshine and rainbows. They are not all some perfect anime love interest, most people period are pretty screwed up and the majority are pretty selfish so you might have more of a chance than you think it’s just she might also just use you for a good time and date someone else. I have never dated an angel and I have never met a human being without at least moderate mental issues. That doesn’t mean riding in and protecting someone it means them actively and likely intentionally hurting your feelings because they feel like it today. I am being a little dark but more with the intention of grounding anybody, you might indeed get that certain someone but you are still going to have to deal with relationship problems, if you’re lucky they won’t be every single day. Most people will have a lot of compromises, I know a very happily married guy to a girl that’s poly and it isn’t a pleasant topic for him but he loves everything else so he accepts the compromise, I am simply too emotional for that jazz. Again only points I am making is a woman is just as selfish as a man or to put it more clearly a woman is a human being, she’s not an angel and being in a relationship means being disappointed in some way. Arguements and disagreements are going to happen.
If you’re grounded but a beautiful woman being a regular human being it will likely help you unknot a lot of your fear about talking to them.
She’s taller than me, which just sucks, it makes me sad, this is the first time I’ve actually had feelings for a girl who’s taller than me. She doesn’t even know that I think she is so beautiful, but I don’t think I can ever say it to her, I don’t want to humiliate myself and ruin everything again, she’s way out of my league
