It's hard to tell when a shy person has a crush on you but it's a different sort of frustrating when they're so extroverted and nice you can't even tell if they're treating you specially
The hardest thing to do is see an extrovert flirt and show interest to me (an introvert) and they loose interest because they think that I don't like them because I don't show signs of interest like an extrovert even though in the introverted view I am flirting and showing interest honestly if people where just honest with there feelings life would be much clearer and save people from months of yes no yes no yes no I wish rejection would be kept quiet and not have any gossip spreading it and shaming the person., Why am I saying this I have no idea I am just ranting any who I already know don't comment it . Nobody cares, who asked what ever goodnight.
I thought I'd update this its been about a year and a half oddly my life has changed drastically. I found my people they gave me confidence and stuff. So somehow I am now an extrovert I don't know how why or when one of my theories is that it was kinda a trauma response but I still have so much difficulty flirting with peopland showing interest. When I wrote this I has a massive crush on this one guy and now me and that guy ARE FRIENDS also I don't see him in that way anymore. But I was friends with one guy at the time I wrote this it went from platonic to yes we both obviously like each other but I have no idea what to do WE KEEP MUTUALLY FRIENDZONING EACH OTHER and he's also an extrovert like people who don't like each other don't say "hey ......" everytime we pass each other in the halls¡!!!‽ then like i talked to him before the sadie hawkings dance where the girls ask the guys out and it was weird bc i dont know how to explain it but i think he wanted to ask me out. Or maybe im over thinking this we're good as friends and that is probably good. I think I've got to let time take its course on this one because I don't want to not be friends with him but I also want more than friends well see tho he's a good friend.

The problem is that they're in the same general area as my real crush who I feel romantic, physical, a smattering of emotional and a tiny bit of intellectual and maybe eventually sexual attraction too. This combination makes me utterly afraid (not nervous. I'm not that kind of person) to be with them in case somebody goes homophobe on me. And, thus, whenever it's a choice between walking with my crush and the other person, I always choose the other person. Any ideas you have??? I might possibly watch other Psych2go videos and become an "expert" on psychology, and then discuss intellectual attraction while my crush is in earshot, but I'm terrified it wouldn't feel natural. This channel talks a lot a bout the interaction but to me it's kinda impossible, I'm like one of the most introvert introverts there is and my class does a lot of judging. Also it doesn't help that both my friends use to like the same guy... I wish i could be direct but sometimes it's too hard... not sure what your situation is but if you can actually talk to both of them about it it would be pretty good

Y’all, I’m in my 40s now, and let me tell you that playing the guessing game is exhausting and your time is worth more. I had a friend ghost me because she got too close to the sun in our relationship. I literally grieved her absence but have come to the conclusion that she couldn’t handle being friends if she wanted something more. Life is short and if you really care about someone, please do them the favor of being honest. It is really hurtful to think you spent all that time with someone and they were on a totally different page.
This 100%. Hinting and forcing someone to guess your intentions is the mark of a coward and loser and could translate to other uncomfortable parts of the relationship. Men need to stop entertaining women who cannot be direct

Omg this ;-; I always thought that guessing game and vagueness was fine between us cause we were having fun. I was always always upfront with him about my feelings and he'd rejected me when I brought it up...but his actions were so different, I got confused. It felt like the feelings were mutual. He never wanted anything and I respected that. I just wanted to stay friends if that's all he could offer. But when I called him out on his actions and set boundaries, he got angry and blamed everything on me. I felt like I ended up pushing him away when I didn't mean to. I just didn't feel like whatever we had going on was worth the confusion. I set my boundaries so we'd be clear with each other. I tried reaching out cause again, still want to be friends but I'm getting ghosted...I'd usually reach out again and again, but I think I've done enough of that. I guess the best thing to do is move on from him.

Something I also recommend is finding people who will help you, I was having a hard time saying "I love you", but my older brother noticed and told me "I love you" every night before going sleep...and now I'm getting better at it...

This video coincidentally came around the right time, I have a bit of a crush on someone but I am trying really hard to hide it. I'm just so scared that person won't like me back or that if they find out, they'll distance themselves from me or be nasty to me. While the signs presented here can be interpreted as signs of attraction, they can also mean just being nice or friendly. As a man, over the years I got to the point where, unless the woman tells me directly that she likes me, I simply asume that she is being friendly or simply nice. Sure, there were those who got mad because "I didn't catch on their intentions" or that "I didn't take the hint" or simply just walked away. While this does works for me, it will not necessarily work for other people.
It is the best you can do, i get very close to friends i connect with well, specially if we have common hobbies, and since i am not very expresive with words, the way a saw my closest friend i care in through actions, always being there if they need to( like lending my house for a friend's birthday party cause it was going to be a picnic but it started to rain that day), not spending more than a few days without checking on them , always asking them to tell me that they git home safely when we went out, i am the kind of person that, if i see something( not very expensive obviously, just silly things) and i remember a close friend was looking for that or they would really like it, i get it for them as a small casual gift. ( For example, my best friend spend a lot looking for a chocolate with pistachio and couldn't find it, and then when i saw it while on vacation, i bought it for her) .
But obviously , i don't mean anything else than express my very much platonic and familial love for my friends. Is never indicative of anything romantic and apparently some people find it confusing or think it is romantic, so what you do is the best option, each person is completely different after all.
as a woman I misinterpreted signals so many times and got myself in awkward situations of being ghosted by my crushes because they did not feel the same, that I adopted same approach. Except I don't have issues with people walking away because "i didn't catch their intentions"... because nobody ever has those kind of intentions towards me

I’ve got a huge crush on someone from work and there’s a lot of these behaviours I recognise doing myself. I pay her a lot of attention and my eyes always seem to fall upon her from a distance. When we talk I always find excuses to touch or tap her on the arm or shoulder and laugh with her. I always ask her about her what she’s been doing lately or her plans for the future, ‘cause I really want to get to know her better, yet she doesn’t seem to be as interested in me. I’ve asked her multiple times to hang out together, but she always seems busy and can never make it.
Other times, I don’t want to give her or others the impression I really like her, so I just ignore her instead and talk to others around me. And when I do find myself alone with her, I’m too shy at times and don’t know what to say. Then I’m afraid she’d think I’m not interesting enough for her and it makes me even more insecure. I’d love to tell her all this, but at the same time, I’m also afraid of her reaction and then she might never want to talk with me again …

I think you have to give it a try and tell her. If she says no then you can move forward with your life. Maybe it can be a YES who knows 😊. The open body language one isn't always true. When I first started hanging out with my now husband, his body language was very closed off with a lot of mixed signals. I thought he was trying to push me away so I'd respect that and give him space but then he'd go out of his way to hang out with me/talk to me. (eg he'd invite me to sit next to him, then look/lean away when I did) Turned out he was into me, but very nervous so he didn't realise he was self-sabotaging

Someone at work did all of this to me....I ended up reporting her to our harassment dept 😂 I communicated clear boundaries, but she was one of those "oh, you're just saying that" people. Be warned! This can turn creepy and uncomfortable really quickly! It's not always a flattering thing to think someone like likes you....

I teach dance to children and the Mother of a child I was teaching sent me messages saying she couldn’t stop thinking about kissing and touching me and she had a crush on me. This woman has been married to a man for 16 years. I was horrified, she wanted me to join her and her husband sexually. I think she genuinely thought I’d be really flattered and happy, I was appalled and beyond distressed that she interpreted my basic human kindness as flirtation. Please don’t put people in these situations where you have decided exactly what you want them to do without consulting them, especially in their workplace. Also respect the word NO. I had a complete nervous breakdown and ended up blocking her on everything. It hasn’t ended well for anyone.

Okay let’s put this into perspective : there are some people that will do these things but be hot and cold about them - these are not the people in question. If someone does some of these things or all of these things but less than half the time they just could be trying to woo you for their own benefit I.e to sleep with you & when they remember to put in the effort. Real attention is consistent and the behavior will ALWAYS be like this at least around you. Minimal effort is a cons game

Hii! I still hide, and hid my feelings for my partner before we got together, so I must say these sings are very correct! I ofc don't hide my feelings as much as I did back then, but I'm just a person who doesn't express my feelings as much! I absolutely hate how I can’t tell how people feel- I’m in love with a close friend of mine who I’ve met on january and I literally fell in love with him just a few days after I met him. but the thing is that I fell in love with him while being aware that apparently he likes my friend, it really does hurt being in love with him while knowing that he loves someone else but I seriously am so confused with my feelings right now- at first when I started liking him I denied my feelings saying that I don’t like him and it’s just platonic and I’m thinking it’s romantic because I’ve never met a good guy before so I probably think that I like him. of course denying my feelings just made me like him more, it’s been 3 months of denying them and it made no progress. yesterday his close friend told me that apparently he texted him saying doesn’t like my friend anymore and that he likes me now, of course I didn’t believe him because I’ve known his friend for 7 years and he tends to lie a bit, I told my other friends about it and they all agreed saying that it was obvious that he liked me (my friend who he was claimed to like even said so) even though they’re not sure, they suspect that he does like me- and now I’m just so confused because this whole time I thought my friend liked him and he likes my friend and now everything is just so complicated 😭 no one asked for my story but I really want someone to tell this to so yeah 🥲👍
Go ask him out, even in the off chance that he doesn't like you that way, if he's your real friend it won't ruin your existing relationship.

After 6 months, I finally saw she liked me in the way she talked and acted so I decided to see where this goes. We know we like each other now but neither of us will say it lol. I actually had a relationship with her best friend that lasted 3 months, and after that, she started to slowly move away from my ex. Now we tease each other, we started to do more phisical contact and more.

I started like this girl in a play that 20+ people are involved. Though, I've never had a conversation with her or say "hi" when there are times we do bump in. On a Friday I was going to ask er out but panicked, my best friend told me if something happened and I said no but I just don't have hope. He said she's a type you rlly have to get to know her for something to happen like this and well pretty much want to give up because I'm terrible in conversations 😅
No one is going to see this comment but I need to say it somewhere: there is this boy who was in my class last year and we ended up in the same class this year too. I have a hard time being friends with boys so we didn't talk much but he was always very nice. I only knew one other girl and him in the class so I talked to him a bit at the beginning of the year, he also often texted me to ask me different questions about the classes. But a misunderstanding led to someone telling him that I was in love with him. The people who told him this quickly realised their mistake and told him it wasn't true, I also went to apologise to him when I found out about it a week later. I was embarrassed to talk to him again after that story but we had a presentation to do together so I had to do it anyway. But after that presentation I really couldn't talk to him anymore and I realised that I think he's really cute and I might actually have feelings for him now. I'm probably just imagining things but I feel like we have too much eye contact and when I'm around him I sometimes feel like he's paying attention to what I'm saying. For example today several of us from my class were sitting on the same table and a friend was sitting between us, I wanted to show something on my phone to my friend and it looked like he was trying to look at my phone too. I certainly must be imagining things, but there have been several stories like this. I don't dare to do anything because I have very, very low self-confidence, I'm really not pretty and I think that boys wouldn't like talking to a girl like me. So I wrote this very long comment to see if anyone had any advice on how I could talk to him again, step by step. I apologize for the length of this comment even though I don't think anyone is going to make it this far. And if by chance it is the case I wish you a wonderful day (:
