Infernus is an Ixian with a powerful control of flame that he uses to enhance his speed and ignite his enemies. Combining his Flame Dash with the ability to spew a napalm Catalyst, Infernus can chase down and ignite his foes with a deadly Afterburn. Any targets left standing will be subject to his explosive Concussive Combustion, knocking them out and leaving them vulnerable to further immolation.
As a creature from Ixia, Infernus had a troubled and intense youth while he was raised in the United States. Despite a rash of deadly crime as a teenager, he found himself tending a bar in his adulthood and learning to calm his intense emotions. With quality music and interesting people to talk to, Infernus rarely has a need these days to call up his dangerous supernatural abilities.

About your question around mystic reach. If you hover over the item it will show exactly which spells get boosted by it and what effect that boost has on the spell.
To answer more specifically, yes it does increase the size of the fire trail. Great value pickup at 500.
Quicksilver on the 1 is essential too IMO. He spends so much time reloading otherwise. The 500 soul magazine is a great little pickup to add in too.

Yo, if you hover over an item it tells you what part of each of your abilities the item influences, extremely handy to find out stuff like "does improved reach make my fire trail girthier?"
You can see that really well when you hover over Superior duration at 21:32, it shows every little change on every single one of your abilities.
@MFPallytime I dont know if you are aware but you can see Ult cooldowns for both your team and enemy team right under the portrait with the little orb. When its full with the lightning bolt that means their ult is up.
Being able to play the way you want in creative ways AND it being viable is what I really enjoy about this game.
I also do "firewalk" build as I call it.
I have two big differences. I max out range and abuse echo.

It's rare to see a deadlock player who shows the power of macro play and doesn't focus on PVP as much. It's refreshing.

18:41 There's a soul vending machine against the right wall that you can punch for souls, it takes health each time you do it though so be wary if enemies are nearby. Congrats on getting married btw!

I would like to see this mage build play out with something that also applies on hit effects like ricochet that spread the burn dot damage, maybe something that also slows too

Fortitude in the Vitality tab may be worth looking at, some extra health and regen but the movement speed is really nice.

In case you didn't know you can slide by croaching after your dash or by going down the stairs giving you infinite ammo during the duration and making you faster. I never see you doing it
