Hey coach anytime im playing a game people watch me and say i look timid and scared but in my own mind im not scared at all but the other thing is that the people who say this when they watch my games also say that they know i can play much better than i am playing every game they say im holding myself back. This happens almost every time if i score less than 10 people set these high expectations that i have to live up to and i don’t know what to do when i have a game where i score ten or less points everyone almost starts thinking in not as good as I am. And its not like im trying to please anyone either its just the fact that they always have something to say anytime i score less than 10 points sometimes along the lines of you can shoot better i know you can and you can pass and score better. And sometimes it makes me play worse as it almost makes me think that im not as good as i know i am even though i know i can play better all of these high expectations set by other parents in the stands watching me play is making me over think about the player i am im emotionally reacting to everything i do bad on the court like missing a shot that I know I can make. But the worst thing out of it all is that I train harder than any of the other players on me team and they sometimes score more than me. My whole team knows that I’m the best player on the court out of all of them but sometimes I don’t play as well as I know I can and this is where the parents the overthinking and more work that I put in come in where no matter how much I work I’m still seeing no results I’m enjoying my training to but I’m not sure what to do in these situations when I don’t have a good scoring game

The simple answer is that whenever you notice a part of your body is unnecessarily tight, just relax that tightness. Do this repeatedly over a long period of time, and you'll be able to relax more easily on the court - Simon, Team DeepGame
I've often struggled with this as I can be a perfectionist, I think law #4 is a similar concept with attachment vulnerability
Awesome! My game will happen tomorrow. Wish us best

How do you truly rest your body so easily
