I won eBay auction yesterday night for Steam Deck LCD, 256GB, and 512gb micro sd card on it. For £283 pounds. And it's used very little in near perfect condition so I'm happy with what I got!
I think imma just go completely broke and buy that Ally X for $700, sucks because it's really gonna be $755 with taxes accounted for, but I'm gonna try to get an open box deal from Best Buy in excellent condition to reduce some of the cost.. I really just want a portable emulation station to play every console, my iPad was good for that for a bit but Apple is always finding a way to shut down emulation apps like dolphin and pcsx2 whenever they are available.
Yeah, using it during my lunch break sounds like something I’d enjoy a lot. Played a psp emulator the other day on my break and I had fun. I think I’m go pick one up today if I’m not talked out of it. Been pondering for a while now about it
Honestly, depending on what emulation you want to do, using a modded switch gets your a good chunk if the way there. If you have a v1 switch or some Soldering skills, it's a dirt cheap solution for some pretty incredible performance, especially bc an overclocked switch is no slouch.
Steamdeck oled wasn't a viable option simply because it can't emulate ps3 and xbox 360 good enough. On top of that it's limited to Linux making PC matchmaking for certain games I play pretty much DOA on arrival. I got the Ally X and it's everything I wanted and more.
I already got stream Deck oled I had legion go but took it back becuz didn't want to go over credit but at the time it was over $800 at the time and now I'm looking between legion go and PlayStation portal

Get i got my rog ally X last month its amazing and battery life is so good I use it at work every day haha
