I’ll admit I wasn’t sure what to expect coming across a relatively small channel like this but man that mix slapped me in the face. Clearly you’re a professional who’s been doing this a long time. Rock on 🤘
I definitely agree, a well balanced drum sound is great for setting the frame of the mix since it spans from subs all the way to the highest highs. That's why I think pre-mixed drum libraries are amazing for beginners because it's such a good reference for if you don't know what to listen for
Thanks MO for doing a demo, the great thing I found myself thinking in this track was either way sounded great, it wasn't a/b is better/worse, just different vibe. I like tone with a healthy beard, some like it with a trim, a matter of opinion 😎👍 To those watching, I say one thing: try the demo in your setup, load it up and riff! It won't let you down 🔥
Hey Mo, on you HLB video it looks like your pre amp EQ has a high-shelf on the low frequencies (at like 3:20) But here it looks like you’re doing a low cut after the amp? Can you explain a little?
It's getting different results and is always dependent on the mix. On the HLB video I am using the Hydra which needs some extra low end on the DI to my ear. This is tracked guitar by Lance in Red Keep and it has a lot of lows already so no need for a boost 🙂
Hi, was curious if you were gonna have a look at the Axure guitar library that came out recently? Odin 3 also came out today. I was curious about Otto's guitar library but got turned off as it has no demo and no multiple sample sets for double tracking.
Hi, I noticed you didn’t use a low pass filter, any particular reason or you didn’t feel it was needed? I would have to get rid of some fizziness. I’m still learning the game, not judging or anything, just trying to learn more. Awesome tone and track, big fan of your drums sound!
I’ve been using this amp sim for a couple of years now and it seems as if their “coming soon” artist presets aren’t ever happening. Would anyone be down to swap tones? I’ve made a few that I enjoy!
Neural DSP amp Sims yes but this one no. I'm surprised by how powerful it is despite being so low CPU. Even on 8x oversampling it's far more optimised than any other one I've come across
Your content rules man.
Great job, thank you !

That breakdown at the end hit harder than the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. Great deep dive as usual, Mo! 👏🦖
YOU CALM MY ANXIETY BETTER THAN MY MEDS THANK U
This amp is awesome. I love it so much. Use it for low tuned and my baritone. Massive sound and the stereo changes pushed me against the wall...
Thanks for the words my dude 😎👍
Otto is my go to and then Clairvoyant and Rhino! All great for low tuned baritones!
Dont know if its just me. But i feel like its way easier to mix guitars around a drum mix that is so powerful and well done as this one. Good job!

@@MOMetalProductions exactly why i use OKW Architects for demos. I still got a lot to learn in regards to mixing drums. but trust the progress.

@@MOMetalProductions wow lol does not sound tracked at all 😭
@@MOMetalProductions ahhhhhh thank you for the clarification
Hahaha I’ll take that it doesn’t sound tracked as a compliment. ❤

Hey man! I have both Odin 3 and the Otto DJAA in the pipeline 🙂
it has double tracking now, real double tracking with unique samples each side at all times 😎
💣❤️🔥👌

Thanks man! I don't use a high pass as a set rule, I only use it when I feel it's needed and I didn't think the top end was too much in this case 🙂
@@MOMetalProductions Gotcha, thank you!
Omg pls do a video on your drum mixing and sample choices......
Here you go 😉 some slight changes now but the main samples are the same: ua-cam.com/video/MxJmlHC3hwE/v-deo.htmlsi=K-alniEhy76EIUUj
It’s funny because it’s “high gain” but you really set the gain to 2 for that low shit
Haha, the signal in was really hot apparently 🤷♂️

Guitar amp VSTs consumes too much CPU resources
not this one, try it out. Insanely low CPU usage, optimized.
I swear to you man, not this one. Even on a 2012 MacBook Pro, still used a fraction of the CPU budget.
@@codexstudios spitting straight facts my man🤜

ever heard of exporting audio??
