Lol I had surgery on friday. I have been trying to do the nasal rinsing but it just comes out the back of my throat. I am so thankful for this tutorial because the feeling of the cold water was making it really hard but warming up the water is genius!!! Thank you!!!!

The first time I tried a neti pot I was a college kid w sinus issues and a bad habit… it flushed SO MUCH CRAP out of my head… I couldn’t believe it. Now as an adult with healthy habits, the rinse is less insanely productive-but it does still help w allergy symptoms. I just had surgery yesterday and am excited to flush the crud out of my head!

I think it's worth noting that most surgeons will recommend you to not put it in your nose and move your nostril that much so soon after surgery. Also you should use a clean tissue to dry up, not a towel.

Many surgeons use packing or splints in the nose but not everyone. Studies have shown that using either one does not improve outcomes. For those that don't use packing, doing rinses after surgery decreases bacterial contamination and helps with overall healing. Please follow the specific recommendations of your particular surgeon!

    Hi miss.
I had done my septo rhinoplasty 2 and half days ago.
My doctor prescribed me to use water soda and salt solution to wash my nose.
Should i start using it from now?

You should use saline water, not plain water. plain water will irritate the nasal passages

The bottle is microwavable www.neilmed.com/usa/directions-for-use-warnings/. The company even recommends sterilizing the bottle in the microwave.
