My thought is they need Talos to die so Amelia Clarke's character can have a strong reason to turn on Gravik for good. He's a great character though and I'll miss Mendelson playing him instead of the usual bad guy roles he gets.
Talos also had poetic death. The last fight he had with his daughter and she told him he was delusional and he died exactly what he told her about - showing kindness to humans. Showing, that he is not like other 'evil' skrulls that try to take over earth. He literally saved us human president from his own kind, turned to evil by 'sickness'. Maybe the knowledge of how her father died, if presidents finds about who saved him will show Giah that Talos was right and he died doing what he believed and what she laughed him out on as her last conversation with him.
As much as I enjoy watching the crew back together and being current with the reactions, it was heartbreaking watching Adam fight off the tiredness. It was hilarious yet heartbreaking at the same time 😂😫 Take your rest boys! I’m sure the gang won’t mind seeing the reaction a day or two later!
The whole "mistake" line by Fury sounds like a massive diss, but think about it. He's a high-profile agent who can't risk making any wrong moves or show his true self to anyone and has been living that way for years. His wife was his greatest mistake; Willingly opening up and making himself a vulnerable man because he truly fell in love with her.
This episode made me almost certain that Maria Hill will return (Either as herself or Giah impersonated). Since the skrulls are planning on using the video from Moscow as evidence against Fury, the best way to take that off the table would be for Maria Hill to show up alive.
Talos died rescuing a human, the US President. I think humans will learn of it and realize not all skrulls are evil. Hopefully humans may be more accepting and helpful to the “good” skrulls.

I think this show is going to set the table for a political landscape that would follow into President Thaddeus Ross. Kevin Feige already confirmed that Ross is US president in Captain America 4. And having said that, maybe the super skrull serum could lead him into becoming Red Hulk.

Of the three episode ending deaths, this is the one I believe the most. In fact, I think the final scene of next episode will be the return of Maria Hill.

Glad to see the gang back together. Anywho, regarding this episode, this was some heat! Rhodes is a Skrull confirmed!!!! Talos gets clapped!!!! The scene with Fury and Priscilla/Varra was damn good. I really like the performances between these great actors. Seeing Gravik in 2 stages of being a full-on Super Skrull was dope! That man is a menace! I do wish that this episode wasn't 30-plus minutes, but I still enjoyed the hell out of it. It's a bit of a bummer that "fans" who complained about the MCU razzle dazzle being so prevalent is now getting "bored" with the seriousness of this show. Those people can kick rocks elsewhere. I don't know how the final 2 episodes are going to deliver, but I'm really looking forward to seeing how things wrap up at the end. Fingers cross that we get more Secret Invasion after this instead of a one-off. Can't wait for the penultimate episode!
I think this might be my favorite episode so far. Granted the gun fights from Captain America: The Winter Soldier were more intense, but I loved that Nick got to lead the pack. However, what I really didn’t expect was for Talos to get shot. At least Gi’ah prepared herself beforehand.
I know it's hard to accept that characters can actually die in television shows, but they straight up show Talos struggling to stay in his human form because he's bleeding to death from a deadly gunshot wound. Then Gravik stabs Talos basically in the same wound finishing him off. This is a permanent death, guys. They wouldn't showTtalos struggling so much to break that window and show us that he is dying only to subvert expectations or whatever. Dude is dead.
My guess is in or after the final episode, there could be two (credit) scenes, one about finding the real Rhodes, the second one might be about creating Fantastic Four, or maybe I'm completely wrong
I think Talos and Giyah did the ole switcherwoo. Talos is the president, made the switch during the battle, and Giyah is TALOS. With her enhanced skrull powers maybe she can even mimic other skrulls as well. Meaning Gravick stabbed Giyah not Talos. 🤷🏽♂️.
I actually like the Skrull version more than the human version so as for the question she asked Fury, it would be a yes. I like the exotic alien look more than a boring old human, and appearances don't matter anyways, it's what's on the inside that matters, so I would date an alien like that!🥰

Kinda knew that G'iah wasn't dead by how long they hung on her at the end of ep 3. But with Talos.......idk.....I don't trust anyone is dead dead in this show till I see an autopsy of their body. Also I don't believe Maria Hill is dead otherwise why is she still in the credits??? I didn't see a funeral happen so I don't believe she was in that box
I think Talos died. Closer will come for characters when they reconcile their actions with his memory. Talos can still participate in the story through flashbacks or thoughts about what he would say if the story benefits from it.
Ever notice most of the time Sam Jackson is sitting throughout the show? Ever since he came back to earth he can barely stand up and always have to sit.
This will not be clean ending in my opinion. I hope the fallout of this show will cross over into other phases. I also think this could start setting up the Fantastic Four. If memory serves, Skrulls were originally an FF villain.

I think G'iah only got the Extremis DNA due to being in a rush, not all 4. I think that's the best one she could have got of the four actually. Also, I got very confused with this episode. When Fury and his wife were talking at the bar, I thought the wife gave Fury some sort of tracker/microphone to eavesdrop on HER conversation with Rhodes. Listening to you guys, it sounds like Fury is listening in on that conversation without either Rhodes and Fury's wife knowing about it. The reason I think the wife was "in" on the listening was that they didn't shoot each other when they were at home, which by the way, I though Fury was a Skrull in that house scene because of the way Fury was talking to his wife. Maybe this is the point of the series...to get people confused AF! 😂
