    Congratulations on your rating. And thanks for the video. I’ve been struggling with motivation to study for my instrument rating. This gives me motivation.

    Thank you for making the downloads available to us. Currently studying for my Instrument Rating. Hoping to schedule my Checkride for no later than the end of May. This could not have come at a better time. Congratulations !!

    Appreciate the vid and tips. Passed my instrument checkride last month. Double check your hours (actually triple check them). I almost couldn’t do mine as I had my cross country PIC calculated at 54.6 hrs and somehow he calculated them at 50.1. I just barely made that requirement before we even got started

    Nice explanation. Yeah, stay away from music in these videos are crazy intros. Very distracting for me at least. This was a great tone and explanation. So just keep it to that and will enjoy the videos so much more than all the other distractions

      Do your commercial xc's as part of your IFR xc's! You can do your 250nm xc with three approaches to get your commercial night 100nm xc done as well as your 300nm commercial cross country all at once!

    Which version of ForeFlight do you have for IFR training and checkride? I am looking into getting one, but don’t want to buy the features I don’t really need.

      The mid tier subscription is the one I use to overlay plates. Super useful for IFR SPRM Especially if you plan on getting into the clouds often and for overall situational awareness! I wouldn't get the top-tier sub that one is more for professional jet flying

    My dpe failed me because I went 100ft above my assigned altitude even though the acs says 100ft above is fine.

    • @thetexaspilot
      @thetexaspilot  9 місяців тому

      That definetly sucks, I'm sorry! Don't worry though next time around you'll nail those altitudes!
